Quality Inn & Suites Seattle Center

We had a great experience at Quality Inn & Suites! The location was perfect and we had a very spacious room. Our tv wasn’t working so they decided to give us a complimentary room upgrade which was very unexpectedly kind! The room was very clean and the complimentary breakfast in the morning was also a nice surprise. We will definitely be returning here the next time we are in Seattle. Worth every dollar spent!

Our room was nice and cozy. We had clean sheets daily, and free Keurig coffee inside the room. You are down the street from the Space Needle and museums, there is a Walgreens down the street as well as plenty of restaurants to eat. Downstairs in the lobby you have the friendly staff that were amazing free computer internet access with free printing. You have hot chocolate, and Keurig coffee along with cookies a complimentary. In the morning you have breakfast, they offer a wide selection you have juice coffee hot chocolate, milk, bagels, cream cheese, waffles, eggs, sausages, muffin with gravy, etc. And the most amazing part is that they have a free shuttle that takes you downtown and other places for a small rate. I will definitely come to this hotel if I visit Seattle again !

I just checked out from this hotel. I have been staying there for nearly a week and had a great experience. I do my share of traveling and have been to many hotels. I was shocked to see some of the reviews on Unilocal.When using Unilocal to get directions to the Hotel I saw the rating and got worried that I might have made a mistake choosing to stay here. But my experience was excellent I have stayed at other brands that consider themselves higher end, and have never had the type of service like the Quality Inn Seattle. The staff is very helpful and will go above and beyond to make your stay the best possible. I do understand that this Hotel is under new ownership and management so my guess many of the bad reviews are from the past management. See you again Quality Inn Seattle on my next trip to the Emerald City.

Rooms are expensive due to being downtown Seattle. I do not mind paying if I get what I pay for. Our room was dirty! Hair in the shower, handprints all over the headboards, yellow drips down the walls. Not to mention it is right by the freeway so you hear loud semi trucks all night. Definitely the worst choice hotel I have ever stayed in.

Rooms were clean but hotel is a bit outdated. The location is great though and certainly makes up for the rest. Staff was also really attentive to our requests.

This place was a dive. The second star is just for the location and price. We stayed 8 hours and got out of there. Won’t be back.

Disgustingly dirty!
I understand this is not a top of the line hotel but I do expect a clean room especially for the price we had to pay.
The location is great but there are plenty of other options nearby.
I do have to say that the staff was pleasant enough and they did comp our shuttle price to the port (which was only $ 7×2) after I mentioned that the room was not clean. They couldn’t do anything else because our room was prepaid through a travel site but said they would have the manager contact me. It’s been 2 weeks and I have not heard from them. I told them I didn’t even want anything from them I just wanted them to know our room was very dirty and I had taken photos if they wanted to see what I was talking about.
The pictures speak for themselves but these are the top reasons I would not recommend this hotel.
1. Food wrappers in the ice bucket.
2. Hair in the bathroom
3. Gorp on the nightstand
4. Garbage under the bedding on the floor.
5. Notes written on the notepad by the previous guests.
6. Dirty bedding (see photos) that I did not even notice until the next morning. DISGUSTING!!!
Update 9÷14÷16 I just checked my credit card statement and they charged me for the shuttle ride!!!

Hilariously bad. First of all, the lobby is like the surface of the Sun. No explanation why it’s so hot. The room at least had air conditioning that worked although super noisy like a machine left over from the ‘70s.
Showed up at 2 pm and no rooms ready. Hey, I get technically check-​in it from 4 pm but every single hotel I’ve stayed at in the world for over 40 years of traveling, I’ve never had a problem with getting into a room especially after noon. Whatever.
Walls are super thin. Could hear neighbors using water and/​or flushing toilet. Who knows what? The place is a glorified motel at exhorbitant rates. The actuall full shot price said $ 499 on the thing posted on the inside of the door for a twin bed room. Seattle has become terrbly expensive but if someone even pays a third of that, this place is a rip.
The Direct TV remote is the weirdest one ever. Too long to explain but let’s just say it’s the first TV remote I’ve ever seen with toggle switches on it.
Just stay at the Holiday Inn Express across the way the other side of Aurora, if you like the location near Seattle Center OR snag a motel outside the city as that’s far cheaper.

They should call this hotel the roach coach hotel. You walk in the door to a snobby front desk guy named Jeremy, they lie to you about parking. They tell you there’s truck parking and then tell you you need to months advance notice to use it. They want to be a Highline hotel and charge $ 200 a night but Motel 6 is just as nice. For half the price. And if you do make the mistake of staying here get ready for an early wake up call. We checked in at midnight had to move our trailer 30 miles away because we were told we had trailer parking. At 7 AM sharp they were knocking on our door. I told him I was going to write a review if they did not do something about it. They refunded my $ 15 parkng I didn’t use.

The reviews for Quality Inn and Suites doesn’t seem to be too hot, but we had a good experience.
Pros:
–free shuttle to nearby downtown
–only about a 1 mile walk to downtown if you don’t take the shuttle (especially since the shuttle is not 24 hours)
–complimentary hot breakfast (which includes eggs, sausage, fresh waffles, juices, coffee, pastries, yogurt, etc)
–free wifi
–walking distance from Seattle Center (Space Needle, EMP museum, etc.) and Gates Foundation
–affordable costs
–almost a full kitchen in the room (stove, fridge, microwave, pots and pans, etc)
Cons:
We really didn’t experience any to be honest. I mean, I wish the shuttle operated for more hours. They also seem to be understaffed at the front desk. But other than that, there weren’t really any problems. Oh, and maybe they should’ve done a better job in refilling the water in the lobby. But I can live with these cons. The pros by far outweighed the cons.
I wouldn’t mind staying here again if I were to visit Seattle again.

Dirtiest hotel I’ve ever been in. The room smelled and found urine in the bed. The sheets were damp and when we called it took 15 min for someone to come up to the room. Once the new mattress came we had to make the bed ourselves because they sent someone who didn’t know how to make the bed. But they did not charge us for the room and saved us $ 250.

I was exploring Seattle on a solo trip and The Quality Inn Seattle Center was the perfect jumping off point for this exploration.
The hotel is located within a few blocks of the Space Needle. They offer a free shuttle service to main area attractions and charge for rides further then the city center. I paid $ 10.00 for a shuttle to King Station (Amtrak) on my departure. For $ 40.00 you can book the shuttle for an airport pick-​up or drop off.
TIP: You can easily take public transportation to the hotel. I took the Seattle Link Rail for $ 3.00 from Sea-​Tac international Airport, a pleasant 40-​minute nice ride. I took the Link Rail to the Westlake Station, the last stop on the line. From Westlake Station I took the Seattle Monorail to Seattle Center. A one-​way ticket costs $ 2.50 (cash only).
The Seattle Center is located adjacent to the Space Needle and the EMP Museum. From here it was a quick 5-​minute walk to the hotel. I was patting myself on the back for saving $ 35.00 and getting a little walk in.
The front desk staff was excellent. I arrived very early in the late morning and I assumed I could not get in my room, as check-​in is not till 4:00PM. The front desk agent allowed me to get into my room early at no additional charge.
My room was a good size although the bathroom was a bit small. I actually needed to use my air conditioning and it worked well and cooled the room down very quickly.
The hotel is located close to the very cute area of Belltown and is near lots of restaurants and bars. Free Wi-​Fi is offered with your stay and a complementary breakfast is offered. Breakfast is served in a good size room and offers pastries, cereal, yogurt, hot food (eggs, sausages) and a waffle station.
I took an Über to the Seattle Art Museum for $ 6.00 and at the end of my day I walked from the Seattle waterfront back to the hotel on a 25 minute walk. The initial four blocks from the waterfront are up hill and would gave me a good work out.
I was fortunate for the gorgeous eighty degree weather and thoroughly enjoyed my day sight seeing. My day was made all the better with a decent nights rest at the Quality Inn Seattle Center.

Average hotel. Ok to stay in for a night. Nothing special about it at all. Kind of old and dingy but it worked for the one night before we departed for our cruise. Close to Space Needle. Can walk about 3 minutes and be there. Close to monorail. Has shuttle to cruise port from the hotel for $ 7 a person.

This is one of those places where you get what you pay for: the convenience of the location (only 4 blocks from the Space Needle), the affordable rates, comfy room, good-​enough service, Nescafe coffee machine in the lobby, et cetera. We paid to park our rental car here, and after we checked out they let us keep it there another half day while we went sightseeing before our late-​night flight. The free breakfast was substantial and pretty decent for one of those free, included-​in-​the-​price breakfasts. I only had a couple of minor gripes: The room was a bit dark and could have used another strategically positioned lamp, and the noise absorption could have been better — a little kid directly above us was stomping around late at night driving us crazy. Other than that, we were really happy with this hotel.

Don’t even THINK OF STAYING there.
My daughter was refused her prepaid room and was turned out to find a place to sleep at 10:30pm while traveling to see a college out of our home state of California. She booked this room through
and in the FINE PRINT, they included a message that people need to be 21 years of age to check into a room.
This put our daughter at serious risk and the hotel was horribly unfriendly towards us when we tried to sort out this misunderstanding regarding her room. They KEPT our PREPAID room rental money and said that they were not obligated to return our room deposit because our room reservation had been canceled… by them.
We are furious and seeking damaged and our refund IN FULL. So far, Zip. I’ve called and complained to every customer service at both the hotel AND the website. They all have turned a deaf ear. Perhaps my letters will get a more pro-​active response.

My husband and I recently visited Seattle for the Thanksgiving holiday. We chose this hotel for the price and location. We ended up staying longer than we booked the hotel for, and the staff were more than accommodating to the quick change. Not only did the front desk provide us a discounted rate we originally booked, they made sure we could stay in the same room we were already in. This is not a common practice from my travel experience. It was really kind of them.
The continental breakfast was OK, although I wish they offered healthier options. Alas, it is a continental breakfast at a hotel, so food quality should not be a high standard. The breakfast server was super sweet, though. :)
I only have one complaint: the noise. We were on the fourth floor, and as a previous reviewer stated, the walls are paper thin. You can hear most noise through the hallway and other rooms. I had to call and report a party at 2am on Monday in the room next door.
But this issue was somewhat minuscule compared to the overall positives. Do not expect a five star resort. This is a hotel for a person on a budget who does not want to drive everywhere. The space needle is close within walking, as is the monorail that takes you to the Westlake shopping center. Overall, good experience.

Any Port In A Storm! I say this because this was the only hotel we could book in the Seattle downtown area. We even booked 3 months in advance. That’s because lots of events were taking place during our stay.
The hotel is old. Not historically old, more like the Brady Bunch TV show was probably in its second season old, when it was built.
Our room had two queen sized beds. A view of the Space Needle, a refrigerator, microwave, air conditioning, and a color television.
The staff were polite. The shuttle bus driver was helpful.
The complimentary breakfast was good. Again, the restaurant staff were very polite.
Why the 3 Stars? It’s not the Ritz. Actually, unlike the Ritz, Quality Inn provides free WiFi ! Wow, huh… Powerful enough to stream Netflix.
Overall, it was a descent hotel. Very close to the Space Needle — Probably a 3 minute walk with bad knees. Very close!
Convention Center is probably a 15 minute walk.
A good hotel if you are out of the hotel most of the day. A nice place to hang your hat so to speak.

Room is incredibly small and only seven foot ceiling, very little space even less shelving. No counter in bathroom for toiletries and room was definitely not cleaned, there were hairs on the toilet seat and floor of shower. Disgusting. And for the price paid? Most certainly a rip off.
I am a choice hotels rewards member and stayed a little further from my business to stay at this chain. For the same price I could have stayed closer, had included parking, and a king size bed in a much nicer hotel. My mistake, but I hope no one else stays here expecting anything better like I did.

It’s a chain hotel, and while it looks nice in the lobby… staying here is a personal taste of hell for tired, stressed out travelers.
The rooms are closets, parking is $ 15.00/night — what?! Since when do you need to pay to park in a hotels parking lot? Maybe I’m just out of the loop nowadays but I was shocked.
The area is sketchy, under construction near the ONLY restaurant within walking distance, and I didn’t feel safe until we were off the sidewalks.
The room is noisy, no peace for people needing to relax when a loved one is in a hospital. (Got the «recommendation» from UW Medical Center Site) The street noise might as well be coming through your room and the air conditioner is horrifying. Whether it’s on or off it makes a horrible vibrating noise through the room that woke me from a dead sleep at midnight. After calling the front desk and deciding between my mother and I that sharing a queen bed in a more quiet room would be better than two double beds where we’re getting a headache from the noise, we checked the other room before moving our stuff and sure enough — it was happening there too!
One pro is the shower, HOT water (thank God!) and great water pressure. That seemed to help at 3am when our room was too loud to sleep.
The staff seemed concerned enough, but the damage had been done.
In the end management gave us 20% off and didn’t charge us for parking but the entire situation was simply nightmarish.

Quite adequate. One mile to Pike St market. Pool had been drained. From what I heard, the water was so cloudy, that some one had drowned and could not be seen from the surface. They had drained it after the accident and were going to fix it back up.
They did not have the room ready and made us wait until 5 pm. They did have a nice breakfast in the morning. Easy walking distance to area attractions and restaurants.
