Quarnstrom Fred, DDS

I am a dental specialist (periodontist). I have known and worked with Dr Fred Quarnstrom for nearly 20 years. He is one of the finest and most ethical dentists I have ever had the pleasure to work with. I have never seen a single case in which he has over treated.

I have no way of knowing what «patient» this is. I have lectured in a number of states and several countries opposing over treatments in dental offices.
In fact, I wrote a book Open Wider Your Wallet not your mouth: a consumers guide to dental care. I got 1600 hate mails from dentists for exposing the over treatment that happens in some dental offices.
My guess is this review was written by a dentist who was mad because I exposed that fact that he was an over treater. If you go to a dentist who advertizes in magazines, on TV, on billboards along with other marketing tricks, you had a high risk of being taken advantage of. I hold 4 fellowships 2 diplomate certifications and lecture at 3 dental schools. I have done insurance reviews for the last 19 years preventing dentists from over treating. I would hardly risk loosing that to do a couple of fillings that are not needed.

Dr. Quarnstrom filled one cavity of 4 that he said needed filling. He seemed good, until I moved. New dentist and new x-​rays: no trace of any cavities found. I wouldn’t recommend him to my worst enemy.

I’ve been coming here for my teeth needs since… well… forever. I can’t really compare Quarnstrom to any other dentist, but I feel like he does a good job. I never cried when I was a little kid, there were little kiddie books… now that I’m not the age of a kid (still a kid at heart) the magazine collection is A+. Not a painful dentist at all and his staff are attentive and gentle. Also, I like the free little teeth whitening kit they give you. Gotta keep your teeth nice and sparkly clean!
