Rachel’s Ginger Beer

I am obessed with ginger and just love anything that is ginger related. So Rachel’s Ginger Beer was bookmarked as one of the must visit.
Located in Pike Place Market so it is super convenient for tourist like myself after all as a visitor I always ended up coming to this area.
Arriving just after lunch on a rainy afternoon, RGB was not busy at all. I tried the Original Ginger Beer which has a nice gingery kick that I like. But my friends’ adult version seems to be so so.
Worth checking it out as one of the pit stop if you are in the area.

One of my favorite alcoholic drinks are moscow mules. When I learned about Rachel’s Ginger Beer, I knew I had to stop by. I was like a kid in a candy store. So much ginger beer so little time. The ginger beer came in different flavors and they all sounded really good so it was hard to figure out what I wanted to order. I wish there was a tasting option so we could be able to taste them all. I chose to go with a standard moscow mule and my sister went with a frozen mule. So yummy! So refreshing! Their space is a nice spot to just sit, unwind, and have a conversation and that’s exactly what we did. I wanted to try it all. I really did. Maybe one day i will. Till next time Rachel’s Ginger Beer! I will be back.

Sooooooo good. I always love whatever I order. Their ginger beer is deliciously spicy. My mouth always feels a little sting after I go here.
I finally tried the frozen mule which was pink guava when I went. Vodka, ice and pink guava ginger beer blended, and garnished with a lime. So delicious. I got multiple brain freezes. My friends got a whiskey mule and one of their tequila cocktails. Good price. You order at the bar and grab your drink and sit. There were a few tables that needed to be bussed and I didn’t feel bad tipping less than average since it’s not table service and they literally poured my drink from a spout and added a lime and straw.
If ever in the area, I’d definitely stop by for a cocktail or just a ginger beer.

I work a few blocks up & over from Pike Place Market/​Post Alley, so it’s nice to come down and get a zesty drink to wet that whistle or catch a delicious flavor. To me, it’s more ginger flavor than ginger ale but still soda like.
This place is great, love coming in to check out the flavors, get a sample then make my choice. They also have boozy drinks too, so keep that in mind if you need a little liquor to get you through the day. Great look inside where they have the ginger beers on tap etc. Good amount of room and great to grab & go.
I tried a few over the last year but I really liked the White Peach Ginger Beer. Nice & refreshing, zesty, and most importantly it’s super flavorful.
Staff is always friendly and helpful. Pricing is a little high for a drink but you can find cheap eats around the market to offset it. You can also purchase a growler then receive a discount when bringing it back to refill. I always forget my growler so I have only refilled it like once.
Anyways, a great place to stop by when at Pike Place Market/​Post Alley.

I love ginger beer. I love ginger beer here. I love the hot toddy here. A very relaxed atmosphere with lots of alcoholic and non alcoholic options. You can have the sodas to go and anything to stay. Also growlers and many cocktails on tap. Boozy floats and non alcoholic floats with soft-​serve. Why isn’t this where I live?

I have to admit, I’m kind of obsessed with ginger beers… Ever since I had one for the first time at Monkeypod Kitchen in Ko Olina, Hawaii, I was hooked. So when I stumbled upon Rachel’s when planning our PNW trip in Oct 2015, I knew I had to try it!
Rachel’s Ginger Beer is on a whole different level than any other ginger beer I’ve had before. While most store bought varieties are glorified ginger ales, RGB is a TRUE ginger beer, burn and all! And it’s delicious! In the short time we were in Seattle, and the limited schedule we had at that, we visited the shop 3 times and ordered RGB whenever we saw it on restaurant menus.
Over the course of our visit, we samples the hibiscus, guava, blood orange, concorde grape, white peach, and the original flavors. My top two were the hibiscus and blood orange, both having bold, but balanced flavors. The guava’s flavor was pretty faint, but it normally is. The concorde grape and white peach were both on the sweet side, and the plain, well it was gingery, burn-​y goodness!
At $ 6/​20oz cup, the stuff isn’t cheap, but it’s worth the price! This is a true, high-​quality artisan product and is, hands down, my favorite ginger beer. Period! I wish our local (Kahala/​Kailua and soon, Honolulu) Whole Foods sold them!

I am allergic to something in soda. However, ginger ale somehow does not affect me. Fortunately, it is one of my favorite soft drinks anyway. Rachel’s Ginger Beer has the best ginger ale I have tasted. I tried the pink guava flavor and it is phenomenal. It is exactly what I needed on a warm September day to explore Seattle. On the other hand, it is $ 4 which is a little more than I would like to spend on ginger ale even if it is the best. Nevertheless, it is definitely worth it to try once.

Great little spot in Pike Place Market to get your ginger beer fix. They serve alcoholic beverages too, and you can buy the fruity-​flavored ginger beer to go. Prices are what you’d expect for high quality ginger beer. They have RGB on tap which is cool, and there are seats if you wanted to hang out and finish your drinks.
I especially like the guava and regular RGB.

I had to come and try the Moscow mule — which was just as I had imagined! The only downside… and we didn’t even think of it then, is that you can’t do takeout for alcoholic beverages (duh). Meanwhile we were still so full from eating chowder next door!
Oh, the frozen version is pretty spectacular too, especially if you’re a fan of guava.
Dee-​licious. I shall have to return (some day), and not after a big meal!

After being lost at sea for 10 days and 10 nights, I finally washed up at Pike Place Market. Being surround by seawater for so long I needed something to get rid of my fear of water. As I walked the streets of Pike Place, I asked numerous people where I could find a magical drink that would bring my back to life. Many had offered me a water bottle but I refused them all saying I needed something great. After a few more days of asking for advice, someone finally approached me and said «Why not try Rachel’s Ginger Beer, its miracle juice», quickly I asked for directions and proceeded. Finally! I had found the oasis of the sea.
Oh, was that person right. Rachel’s Ginger Beer was magical. It was as if I have been living to drink here. They have an amazing selection of flavors, which you can sample freely. They even offer cool add-​ons such as: alcohol and ice cream, like common! It doesn’t get better than that!

I excitedly brought my fiancée, who just so happens to be named Rachel here, We not only came for the name, but also I enjoy a good ginger beer. Bundaberg being one of my favorites, I was hoping it would taste similar with a strong bite of ginger. It’s good, but not quite as good as that.
Before purchasing a 32oz growler, we asked for some samples first. The employee seemed hesitant although they have tiny sample cups readily available. We only tried two apiece and even that seemed like a lot as he asked if we were decided after the very first sip.
Their main draw is they have a ton of different flavors available other than your standard gingery refreshement. They also offer adult beverages mixed in to make a tasty cocktail.
The total price for my honey’s growler was $ 17 or something. Sure part of the cost is the glass itself but even then, it’s pricey. Yet I can’t put a price on putting a smile on my babygirl’s face, so I happily ponied up the cash. Besides, I knew I would probably end up drinking most of it anyways. Now she has her very own growler with her name on it that she can use for storing her favorite green juice.
Sure it’s a pricey tourist trap, but it’s something you would only pay this much for while on vacation, so why not splurge. Not to mention if your name is Rachel, there’s an adorable pig statue named after you, located nearby as well.

Had a serious case of the sniffles in Seattle, and Rachel’s Ginger Beer had just the thing: a spiced orange pomegranate ginger beer, served hot. I was feeling better in no time!
They’ve got a great selection of flavors (and you can sample them before you commit), plus you can get any of them hot, choose from one of their alcoholic options (gin, aperol, and ginger beer… are you kidding me?), or top off your ginger beer with ice cream.
It’s just drinks, so grab a ginger beer on your way somewhere else for eats, but if you love ginger, don’t miss RGB!

For those who think ginger beer is alcoholic, it’s not at this place unless you want it to be.
It’s usually packed in there during the day, so be prepared to line up. If you’re thirsty though, this will be worth any queue. They have great flavours, and their seasonal ones are usually a hit. My favourite though will always be their ice cream floats. The way the ginger beer becomes slushy with the soft serve is to die for. Though, if you’re not sure what to drink, they’ll be happy to serve you samples.

A must if you are in the Pike Place area and enjoy ginger beers on the reg. I’ve developed a liking for ginger beer in the last few years, and RBG is definitely the best I’ve had. It is a little pricier than I would like, especially since there are plenty of other ginger beer options available in grocery stores that are much cheaper and will satisfy the craving, but for the novelty, I guess I’m willing to shell out a couple extra bucks… once or twice in my life.
You can order any of the ginger beers they have on tap HOT, which is a great way to enjoy this tasty beverage in the bitter cold! Basically, they throw it in one of their electric water boilers and reheat it for you. I had the seasonal spiced blood orange ginger beer hot, and it was delicious! It didn’t even matter that the carbonation had all been boiled out. The flavor was alllll there! My parents shared the white peach and loved that one as well.
Service is a little slow, which is strange because it doesn’t take long to pour the ginger beers from the tap — but it might have just been an off day!

RGB… I never knew what I was missing until I found you.
First off, I LOVE ginger. Like, seriously love. I’m the girl at the sushi restaurant picking the wad of pink spicy shavings off every plate that comes to the table and then asking for more. I buy candied ginger by the pound at the market, and love fall because ginger gets added to cookies and lattes and everything in between. Up until this point, my ginger cocktail options were mostly limited to copper mugs and the occasional ginger ale/​whiskey combo. No more! Rachel’s Ginger Beer has many flavors (like pink guava or blood orange) of the good stuff, with the option to add soft serve (for a float) or booze or both! And if you like what you drink in the shop, you can buy a bottle or growler to take home with you for later. They also have a hot toddy option right now with heated ginger beer and whiskey that’s perfect for the cold blustery weather outside.
If you’re looking for a soda stop or a non-​traditional cocktail and you like ginger, check this place out!

Finally got into this place for a ginger beer. Creamy vanilla custard mixed with the hibiscus ginger beer to make a slightly sweet and rich afternoon treat. It wasn’t too crowded, we got thru the queue quickly and were served by a friendly staff.

Only at Pike Place will you find an entire shop dedicated to delicious ginger beer. Honestly, I didn’t know that ginger beer could come in so many flavors or that growlers of ginger beer was a thing. Well, it is a thing — a very tasty and wonderful thing.
You can go two ways here — alcohol or no alcohol. There are a good 6 – 7 flavors of no alcohol (think hibiscus, white peach, etc) to pick from, plus a seasonal option. At $ 6.50 for a large, that’s pretty pricey for a soda, even a very tasty artisanal hipster soda. They’ll absolutely let you try out some flavors first so you’ll get one you like.
If you’re looking for a drink, there are 6 – 7 versions of tapped cocktails — obviously a Moscow Mule, but also versions with rum, tequila or whiskey. I opted for the «Montana» which is basically a whiskey mule. At $ 8 for a 16-​oz drink, that’s pretty reasonable. I can’t claim to have had a ton of whiskey flavor but I did really enjoy it, probably because the ginger beer was on the spicy side.
Service was pleasant in a hipster, cocktail-​guy way. Definitely a unique stop, especially for cocktail lovers.

I wish I did not love Ginger Beer so much because this place is so overpriced, but damn its good.

+ Blood Orange Ginger Beer: Very refreshing and fizzy with the perfect amount of sweetness. Probably not worth the price tag, but tasty nonetheless.

I’ve always wanted to try it, but I’m never at Pike Place unless there’s family in town or I’m meeting up with friends nearby. I was hanging out a Pike Place and walked by. Decided to go in and check it out.
They have samples that you can try. My favorite ginger beer is the hibiscus flavored drink. They have regular ginger beer, floats, Moscow mules, etc. They also have glass jugs/​growlers of it if you want to bring it home.

Really great spot to catch a refreshment before diving into pikes place market.
There is a variety of ginger beer flavors that they have «on tap.»
Got the white peach ginger beer which had a subtle hint of white peach sweetness which is all it really needs. Otherwise it’ll taste like your just drinking your average soda.
What’s awesome is that when you have a tummy ache, you can stop by and get one since ginger ale is supposed to help… For those who feel guilty for being on strict diets and whatnot. So no guilt whatsoever to drink a «beer» so early in the morning. Ginger beer, ginger ale. No difference ;)
