If you are the athletic type and have used gyms often, you’re in for a pleasant surprise. We think you’ll find rain to be different than anyplace you’ve been. And if you are new to gyms and working out, trust me, this is the place you want to be: a new, clean facility with the best equipment, a friendly staff and – if we may be so bold – style!

There are several things you won’t find at rain (like obnoxious trainers or dirty, broken equipment). And judgments are not allowed. We don’t believe in them. We want you to want to be here, and we are genuinely interested in your fitness goals, whatever they are.

The staff at rain works hard every single day to maintain an exciting and supportive workout experience for all of our clients. If we ever fall short, please let us know. We’re here to serve you and your health in any way we can.

History

Established in 2003.

We’re not just another gym. And we don’t want to be another gym. There are plenty of those around. rain is a truly unique, multi-purpose fitness club and the most stylish, distinctive place to exercise in Seattle.

We pride ourselves on our innovative format. This innovation can be found in every aspect of the club: from the spacious and carefully crafted turn-of-the-century loft of our Queen Anne facility, to the modern and sleek design of our new South Lake Union facility. Most importantly, you’ll find exercise programs that dare to push the envelope and a staff that is second-to-none in their approach to assistance and support.

The Difference

We’re really different. (Really.) rain was designed to be a place where everyone — regardless of their sex, athletic ability, shape or size~ feel welcome.

We strive daily to create an atmosphere where no one is peeking over your shoulder to compare how much you bench or how fast you’re going on the treadmill We don’t believe in embarrassing
