No stars on this! Bad service, bad food, bad everything. Waited over 45 minutes for two salads and Mac/Cheese. Asked for four glasses of water on a 90 degree day and brought two. Brought silverware for two and never brought silverware for other two after he brought food. We had to steal off the other table. Also, needed plate to split Mac/Cheese and never got that either. When we finally did find a manager to complain, we asked for a check and waited for that. I finally threatened to leave without paying and that got their attention.

Meh. The strawberry rhubarb lemonade is refreshing. our server was a sourpuss… But the other bartenders are pretty cool. The outdoor patio overlooks the Fremont Sunday market, and it’s nice to sit out and people watch.

Bar does not have darts. Or pool. Or other amenities. Average AF. Enjoy in your drunken stupor at your own leisure.

This place has such potential but always disappoints! I live a few blocks away and wish this place would have a revival. The food and beer selections are not great. There are always flies buzzing around and seems to always have a bleach water smell inside. The service is slow and act like customers are a bother. The space has the potential to be the best bar in Fremont.

Sat afternoon. Not too crowded, but not empty either. Do not be fooled by the fancy sounding Caesar salad. «Tahini chicken» is just a small pre frozen fast food little breast gat tastes nothing if tahini. «Kale» means there’s a couple of pieces of kale on the romaine. When you pay $ 14 for a Caesar, you are paying for the cheese & dressing, right? My pile of romaine came out dry with a suggestion of parm. When I asked the server for more dressing, me admitted it usually was«light» on the dressing, but they still charge for extra.(When I say dry, I mean DRY, not lightly dressed). I told him twice we were done as he cleaned up, but he still ignored us for 15 minutes. I mean, he looked right at us plenty of times, but we still had to chase down our check.

Last night, 4 college friends got together for dinner in Fremont… and ended up at one of our old college haunts for some nostalgia served up with our drinks! We ordered all our old favorites– Cuba Libre(don’t ask, my friends still tease me about this one, even 15 years later!), Grape Nehi’s, and Washington Apple shots. When we asked the fresh faced bartender(who we pinky swore looked young enough to be our kid) what the«silly girls» were drinking these days, we decided a round of Lemon Drop shots were in order! This place brings back a lot of memories and the folks are totally vintage Seattle! No food on this particular visit, but I did find out for my sis and bro-in-law(who just bought a condo on 35th and Troll and are expecting a bebe in late August) that they do free Santa pics on the first Saturday in December every year!

I cant really say anything bad about this place as I’ve only been here for drinks and it’s never been busy so the bartenders and servers were always on point. Really friendly and laid back atmosphere. It’s a fairly large place so i suspect it would be perfect for bigger groups.

CJ continues to be our favorite server here with his tenacious with and magnetic smile. He’s always so accommodating and fun. The bar is great and the food is always on point!

Good food, good service and a lively atmosphere. The food isn’t amazing, but it’s good. The service is quite friendly and we had no issues like what has been mentioned in other reviews. This isn’t the kind of place you would rave about to your friends, but if you’re looking for good, basic food this is the place.

Wow — what a shame; the venerable old Red Door has fallen down; poor service, average food and general disinterest by the team. Suzy needs to crack her whip!

While watching the Patriots vs Kc game, the fiancé and I had a real jones for some bar food. So at half time we called up red door m made an order for wings and tots. Food was ready super fast so we were able to get right in, get out food and head back during half time without missing too much of the game. The Wings definitely did not disappoint!!! They were delicious and a good amount of food! The only reason I’m not giving Red Door 5 stars is because of the service. When I walked in I had about 4 people including a blonde girl, who worked there look right at me standing next to the«please wait to be seated» sign and completely ignore me. I finally went to the bar and asked about my takeout there. Any sort of hello, we’ll be right with you would have been nice.

Ray: Last week Josh and I stayed a little closer to home(his home) by heading out to the Red Door in Freemont. The Red Door sits on a corner lot with the not-very-creative, but still pretty cool Rainier Beer«R» out front. I must say that I liked the interior of the Red Door. It was nicely decorated with an impressive bar-back. My first impression was good. Once inside, it was easy to see both the bar and restaurant seating. They seemed like they were relatively the same, so we sat in the bar. The table we chose had a terrible wobble to it. Every time Josh put his arms on the table, it would tip in his direction. We elected to move to the other two seats at the table to see if that would fix the inherent wobble, which it did. The only problem was when I put my arms on the table; I could feel tiny granules(probably salt) all over my side. I brushed it off to the floor as best I could. Our friendly waitress arrived and took our drink orders(IPA as usual). For dinner I tried the Fish & Chips, which I almost never do because they tend to be so greasy. It was the waitress’s endorsement that made my mind up. Dinner arrived pretty quickly, and she was right. The fish and chips were really good. Then I noticed something out of the ordinary. There was a small bug crawling across the table. I brought it to Josh’s attention and he went ahead and put the drink menu on the beast. We ate on… I have to say that all in all I liked the Red Door. But the debris and creepy-crawly creature on the table really ding my review. This could handily be a five star restaurant but alas, I can only reward three stars to the Red Door. Josh: Last Thursday led us into the bowels of Fremont to pay a visit to Red Door. For whatever reason I don’t think I’ve noticed this place before, so it was nice to try something out that I have no preconceived ideas about. e found parking relatively easy about a half block away. We walked up to what must have been the back door to the place, realized our mistake and made our way around to what was obviously the front. The place is pretty cool looking inside with a brilliant red wall and a huge collage of beer coasters stretching around the dining room. We took a seat in the bar at a wobbly table made better simply switching to the inside seats instead of the outside ones. The server was there to take the drink orders soon after we sat down. The beer we picked was out(the keg was empty) so she brought out a couple tasters for us to try of beers that might be similar to what we ordered. A nice gesture! For dinner I decided on the cobb salad, though there were a lot of possibilities that looked really good. The wait was short and the meals were brought out. I’d say the presentation wasn’t great for the salad. I know it is just salad, but I just feel like it could have been made to look a little appetizing. Not that it specifically didn’t look appetizing, but it was just kinda flat. It tasted perfectly fine though, can’t say I’d order it again, but mostly because I’d be too curious to try some other menu items. Over all I’d say Red Door wasn’t half bad. Easy 4 stars for them.

A sleek, well lit, casual bar in the fremont area. Lots of drinks, fantastic tasting food and pretty good staff. Not too pricey and you get a lot for your money. They have some massive tvs in there showing every sport & the kardashians(not joking). I really like this establishment as a back up plan!

Yeah, it’s okay. I work in Fremont so we go about once a week when we want a beer. I’ve had great service and great food and bad service and bad food. The only real consistency they have is inconsistency. We still go but it sure would be nice if week to week it was the same experience and food. Oh and change your beer signs!

It’s a cool space, nice location, interesting menu. But I ordered a kale caesar salad. That was 100% romaine lettuce. And drenched in dressing. And covered in cheese. So, definitely skip that and order something else! My friends said the pineapple cider was pretty good and their sandwiches and burgers looked pretty decent.

Bro bar. Great place to watch sports or sit outside(esp to enjoy people watching during Fremont markets, etc). The sangria is popular.

This place is dece. I’ve been here more times for lunch since I work in the area than I have going out at night here. I do like that they have some healthier options on the lunch menu, and that they don’t balk at you if you modify a bit to make it healthier. I usually get some sort of salad, last time I got the spinach salad. The lettuce tasted a little off, the dressing was good and the walnuts were crunchy. I asked them to hold the cheese and go light on the dressing which they accommodated. Good outdoor seating and great for groups.

Good well-made drinks, and good service. I loved the mojito I had there. Nothing fancy just your basic neighborhood pub in Fremont. Great for large groups, with lots of seating. Just wish there was better lighting in the place.

This is clearly a business that does not take great pride in their establishment. On my last two visits, drinks have been served in pint sized glasses that have chipped glass rims. Today when you rubbed your finger over it, glass shards would actually come loose. This was oh so visible when served that it is very disappointing that the staff thinks it is OK to allow this glass to even be on property. Immediately upon ordering, the establishment requires a tab to be started. They are a mix of a bar and a sit down order at your table location showing further more the little they value or trust guests. All in all the food is OK but stay away from the Red Door. If you drink glass mixed with your drink, this can cause serious issues.

Meh. Yes, the Red Door sucked us right in. I don’t know what it is, but it attracted us like bees to a flower. We got here a little late(it’s a pub tho?) so that’s maybe why the servers were«over it». They were lackadaisical and pretty much why we were out of the Red Door after we downed a beer and ordered the only thing they offered at the time.appetizers. Your usual beers, not much any deals going on which is a negative to the star count. We ordered some Korean wings and the nachos which took much too long. By the time we got the check and were headed to the next establishment, we were over it.
