My focus is on pelvic bowl well being with ATMAT™ and other therpies. This includes reproductive and digestive nourishment for women and the LGBTQ+ community and their families. I’m a Certified Arvigo Practitioner of Maya Abdominal Therapy and Maya Spiritual Healing. To address challenges, dis– ease and to support the body’s wisdom to heal, I use the techniques and tools that my teacher, Dr. Rosita Arvigo DN taught me. The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy (ATMAT™) is beneficial for all people but is most known to help optimal uterine position. The therapy is non– invasive, external work focusing on the upper, lower abdominal and low back and tailbone and client self care. I apply energy work and craniosacral to sessions to guide integration. I’m a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and hold space, welcome and honor the identities of all.

History

Established in 2014.

I have been a licensed massage practitioner nationally, in Hawaii and Washington state since 2001. Traveling with table and working for other small wellness centers and spas over the years I’ve gained an in depth knowledge of treatments and styles. In 2012, the creative space opened up for me to be able to truly imagine my own practice and follow my heart more deeply into varying methods of healing and understanding. I’m happy and humbled to offer treatment services from Root Down Healing Arts * with Heidi.

Shortly after obtaining my national license by passing the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB), I provided care for my grandfather on the big island of Hawaii. Over the next couple of years, it was a privilege to spend time with him in his self-​built olive green house, learning from him and sharing stories with him.

After practicing massage and bodywork for a few years in Hawaii, I traveled. Later, I made my way stateside again and found myself in Seattle. Upon my return, I began practicing massage in Seattle and also continued advanced and integrated trainings of the Arvigo Techniques Maya Abdominal Therapy and Maya Spiritual Healing in the mountains of San Ignacio, Belize.
