I was in a car accident and called around to a few chiropractors in the area. Dr Claymans staff was friendly and knowledgeable from the first phone call all the way through the entire process.
They were able to answer any questions me and my family had.
He went over our xrays and pointed out problem areas. Spoke with us on a plan to fix the pain.
Should us different exercises and stretchs to do in between visit and before each adjustment.
I have recommended friends and family to his office.
Dr Clayman is our go to Doc for our chiropractic needs!

«Dr.» Clayman is an absolute fraud. Read the other 1 and 2 star reviews and take them very seriously.
I seriously question the validity of any 5 star reviews.
I went in seeking relief for a pinched nerve in my neck.
The counter staff of high school drop outs with more tattoos and piercings than a circus side show should have tipped me off from the start.
«Dr.» Clayman was dishonest, manipulative, and exceptionally cagey about the various «test» results. He refused to show me my x-​rays. MY OWN x-​rays that he was holding in his hand (or so he claimed. It was just an envelope). He told me I had «one of the most messed up Charlie Brown Christmas tree spines he’d ever seen.» Yes those were his actual words. He then tried to sell me on a package of recurring visits.
I left after that statement. I iced and heated my neck on my own and felt much better the next day. I then went to another chiropractor who ran her own tests and assured me my back was in great overall condition. She advised me on how to avoid poor sleeping habits and sent me on my way.
I personally would never let anyone I love set foot in that office. I feel so strongly about this I welcome private messages and can give plenty more detail if needed.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

Dr. Clayman is great! I haven’t had a bad experience so I have no idea what all the fuss is about. The front desk has been so nice and awesome. I been coming here for 3 weeks and I have had a big improvement. My pain is almost gone. Everyone that I have encountered here have all been nice and this is coming from someone who works in healthcare. Totally recommend coming here.

I am a gymnast. Dr clayman is the first chiropractor I’ve seen in about 2 years. I went in because I was having horrendous upper back pain. After x rays, he gave me a diagnosis of having multiple subluxated discs. Hiss cure? Adjustments 3x per week for at least six months.
He told me I should stop exercising and that my gymnastics career would be over. He didn’t provide me with any at-​home physical therapy exercises unless I paid an extra $ 200 for a kit. After about 3 – 4 weeks, I knew something wasn’t right. I told him I was going to see another chiropractor for a second opinion and he thought it was a great idea, until the new doctor called for my patient records. The office refused to release them. My new chiropractor had to physically go to his office and take my records from them.
I had $ 15 co pay at each visit and I paid $ 300 in advance, at his advice, to cover my visits for a few months.
After I decided to not return to dr. Clayman and start care with my new chiropractor, I got bills in the mail for over $ 700 saying that my insurance would not cover the visits to him. This is false since I have great chiropractic coverage. I inquired about getting a refund of the $ 300 I paid in advance and was ignored. Every time I call his office about it, the receptionist says «he will call you back» or she just doesn’t know what I’m talking about. He has never responded to my calls, has not refunded me my money, and still is trying to collect $ 700 from me.
Do not get care here.

Truly one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I went to two appts and was never adjusted. Instead, I had an array of tests and sent home to suffer the first day, then told to come back in the next day for a consultation. Mid-​way through the consultation is when I left.
This is a «hard sell» joint. They’ll stop at nothing to get you to sign up for their treatment. Preying on the weak by dangling their treatment just out of reach. From what I’ve read, I’m glad I bailed.

The ONLY way I could recommend these people is if you know exactly what you need and you live nearby. If you’re a few minutes late to your apt it’s no big deal because it’s basically one big assembly line anyways. You often wont even look at the Dr. in the face until you’re completely done with your apt.
If you’ve been in a car accident stay as far away as possible! They will drain your PIP coverage by charging your insurance company outrageous rates for questionable care. After my wife’s PIP coverage ran out we went to see a lawyer who explained to us that this would be a problem with our case and that we should stop seeing the chiro immediately and go to a physiatrist instead. My wife did and for the first time her back started to improve.
But, because of the «over-​treatment» as the lawyer calls it, we were offered a paltry sum from the insurance company. For all the pain my wife has had to endure, this just added insult to injury. To top it off Roxbury took LONGER than the maximum time allowed by law to respond at EVERY turn. I would estimate that they delayed our settlement by about 4 months. They’ll rarely return calls, and when they do it’s to ask for more time. Long after every other aspect of our case has been dealt with we are still waiting on them.
We’re trying to get them to reduce our bill for everything after our PIP coverage ran out, because for some reason, we were sent a bill (both my wife and I separately) a YEAR after we stopped seeing them! Everybody else my wife saw was willing to reduce her money owed because of the poor settlement offer, but Roxbury has been ducking and dodging my calls, making promises to get back to me and the only time I actually was able to get to talk to Harry (their billing guy) he would only reduce by about 10%, compared with up to 75% for our other people owed. Ironic considering it’s their over treatment that tanked our settlement.
I was promised a resolution to this weeks ago and I’m still waiting… unfortunately they seem to have a lot of meetings there, so it’s hard to get ahold of the right people.
If you read my story and still go to these guys, you get what you deserve! My lawyer’s aide has even said she’s never seen anything like this. She basically gave up trying to get them to call her back, and asked me to try, but I’m not having much more luck.

This is a review for Kelly Perona, a newer chiropractor in the office. Kelly was very thorough in asking me about the problems I was having with my knee (which I suspect is from running) and the pain in my neck. She gave me the first chiropractic adjustment I have ever had and it was awesome! Although she did not adjust my knee, I think that she was correct in her assessment that the discomfort while running was coming from an imbalance in my back, because after the adjustment I ran faster, longer, and more effortlessly than I have in years. Also, my neck felt much looser than I can ever remember. I have had several more adjustments from her, all with great results. I would highly recommend Kelly Perona and Roxbury Spine and Wellness.

Dr. Kelly Perona is great. I first met her at the Northwest Women’s show and it’s obvious from the moment you talk to her, she is passionate about Chiropractic and what she does. Not only would I trust her with my own health, I would send my friends and family to see her as well. You can’t go wrong with Dr. Perona and Roxbury Spine and Wellness Clinic.

The staff, atmosphere, and professionalism from Dr. Perona and Roxbury Spine and Wellness is terrific. Being a physician, I obviously have very high standards when it comes to quality of care and professionalism… and I could not have asked for a better chiropractor or visit. Dr. Perona truly cares about her patients and is very passionate about her work. I give my highest recommendations!

I got an appointment after getting a free examination at a fair. I went in and they made me fill tons of paper and I told them about my medical history. the doctor came in and did not review nor did he talk about any of the things I mentioned and started to talk to me about practicing readjustment therapy without making a proper diagnosis or asking anything about the patient history, especially when there was surgery and a history of treatments, this is when I knew he is more interested in getting you to come in on a regular basis than helping you.
I left and had to pay a fee even though I was not satisfied with my 30 minute wait of filling paper and a 2 minutes interview with the doctor. Since then I receive emails, letters every week or so even though I checked not to contact me for promotional offers.
This is a phony clinic, do not go there and I am sorry for those who chose to work there.

Clayman will drain your PIP coverage! I should have known better when he did not take an XRay of my knee. He focused on my back and neck when i specifically told him my knee injuries. He informed me that my joints would be back to normal after couple of months. Without any Xray, i am not sure how he was able to determine this. So now, i have to pay out of pocket for further treatments. Not going back.
He likes to tell you that he would like to see you once a week if your pip is running low.

And it goes from bad to worse.
Today I found out Dr. Clayman BILLED MY INSURANCE $ 718 for the terrible service I received!
I will be contacting them to give them the opportunity to remove the fraudulent claim, and if I get no response, I will be filing a complaint with the State Insurance Commissioner.
Wish me luck — and stay away from this shark. There are better and more professional providers in the area.

I’ve recently started going here for my neck pains and migranes. I have not got a migrane since then. Dr. Lawrence Clayman and his staff is very friendly. I would definitely reccomend this place for anyone.

I am always skeptical of Chiropractors, but I’m glad I took a chance here! I usually don’t have back problems, but was recently in a car accident which caused my back to be out of alignment.
I sually don’t go to Chiropractors so I had no idea where to go. I was recommended this place by a friend and I was very pleased with my choice.
The office is clean and inviting. The staff is friendly, professional and eager to help. The doctors are very knowledgable. They didn’t try and push me to excessive treatments like most medical offices will. They gave me a quick diagnostic and made a recommendation of what I needed and nothing more. After only a few treatments, my back was 110% better!
They don’t only do back related injuries. They offer physical therapy for wok or sport related injuries and also a variety of massage therapy.
I highly recommend this place to anyone suffering from any type of injury or seeking massage therapy.
I recently acquired an injury playing tennis and will be returning for physical therapy.

Attended the «Women, Wine and Wellness» event on Friday April 29^th to help out a friend who was doing chair massages AND selling her aromatherapy products. They plan to make this an annual thing, which is great because I thought it was a nice event! Lots of different vendors, wellness care providers, and of course many women who just came to participate and see what there was to see, sip wine, snack on yummy food, listen to music, and learn more about taking care of themselves and their bodies.
The clinic is clean, nicely appointed and well laid out. The location is also very convenient. Plenty of parking behind the building. I’d definitely like to go back and get a massage! Will review services once I do.

I have been seeing Dr Lawrence for a number of years. I have been to a few different chiropractors. He gives a great adjustment. I am a big guy and it is really hard to move my low back. He is one of the only people who can move it and help me get relief. The office is very accomodating, it is difficult with my schedule to book an appointment. They always let me walk in and will accomodate me. The staff is very pleasant as well. He also does a really good job of explaining things to me as well. Thanks for your help.

Roxbury Spine and Wellness Clinic takes care of their patients. I was referred by a friend who was going to the clinic to see Dr. Clayman. I was very surprised because the staff was so friendly and understanding. Dr. Clayman took care of my needs. I feel pain free! Thank you Roxbury Spine and Wellness Clinic!

I totally agree with Amber here. That was the same deal I got. Read this book, fill out paperwork, get a bunch of xrays, talk to doctor briefly and then sent home to come back tomorrow to discuss. The adjustments did help, but that goes for any chiropractor really. Adjustments in general do help. I can tell you what doesn’t help. All the crap and drama that goes along with your visit. You have to seriously go there 3 times a week and also so other class they want you to attend. Plus they want you to bring the whole family in to each evaluation.
The doctor’s inappropriate comments are what made me stop going to the clinic. For example, I don’t think it’s very appropriate for a doctor to call you babe or listen to him talk about other clients and/​or employees. Listening to other patients get lectured for not making all appointments made me feel bad and embarrassed for them. Or if you weren’t able to go, then expect to get lectured as well. He really does not know how to talk to people and has the biggest ego around. When you start dreading going to your chiropractor instead of looking forward to it, it’s time to move on. Don’t go here if you work, take medication for pain management or if you just don’t have time to make a full time career out of going to your adjustments.

Dr. Lawrence behaves more like a door-​to-​door salesman, than a doctor.
His staff are all extremely pleasant, and respond quickly to questions via email/​phone.
Dr. L’s treatment plan for me consisted of 40 chiropractic visits for a grand total of $ 1500 — and he basically told me that without this I would suffer from a host of illnesses, including sever back pain.
Sure enough, 2 weeks after my appointment with him, (with rest and yoga/​swimming), the back pain eased up.
I have since gone back to the chiropractor I was seeing in 2009, and aside from minor adjustments — he thinks there is nothing to worry about.
Stay away from Dr Lawrence’s clinic. The man is extremely obnoxious and he will talk you into committing to a lifetime of chiropractic care for no reason at all.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Lawrence Clayman at the Roxbury Chiropractic Clinic for over a year now and have had excellent service. I know not everyone believes in chiropractic care but I do and he’s and his staff are great. When I walk in I’m always greeted with a «Hi Mitzie how are you today?»
I can go in telling the doc my knee hurts or I’m feeling like I’m getting sick and with just a crack and a pull I start to feel better already. Since I’ve been going here I’ve been sick less and *TMI alert* have had almost no cramps! */​TMI alert* compared to before I started going. They work around my schedule and if I feel I need adjusted I can walk in with out an appointment and they’ll see me.
The location leaves a lot to be desired, it’s on Roxbury right before you enter White Center and their hours are a little odd but other than that I’m very happy with the service and care I receive here.
