Being a long time Delta flyer I sometimes wind up in the South Satellite, or as I call it, a bit of hell. There are zero good food options in the South Satellite, so if you might need something to eat you should find something in the main terminal before you take the train to the South Satellite. The sushi/udon place is a step below grocery store sushi and the udon is inedible. The burger place is nothing to brag about and has the most robotic staff I have seen. The sit down seafood place has potential but the food is lackluster and service can be pretty bad. It is as though they know they have a captive audience and because of that don’t give a damn. I read a recent Eater piece on where to eat at SeaTac and surprise — none of the locations were in the South Sat. Since Delta dominates departures in the South Satellite I hope they press the airport to improve the offerings there. The Delta club lounge upstairs is a pretty typical club but certainly not worth shelling out the day entrance fee. If you are in business on an international flight on Delta or their partners go ahead and enjoy it. Remember — if your flight is in the South Sat and you might be hungry, get food before you take the train.

Really great airport except the signage was wrong about the Spirit Airlines desk. Eventually i found a nice employee that point me in the right direction but i was lost for a while. They need to have a business center nobody could tell me if there was a b.c. or not. I really loved the food selection and the bars carry all the local brewery stuff. The F&B was probably my favorite and they dont jack up the prices too much which should be a lesson to other airports. The souvenir shops were also pretty excellent. TSA was a breeze and very polite. A nice and small airport terminal with everything you really need. There are a bunch of charging stations for your mobile devices, save your battery packs for the plane ride! WiFi is free and available at most spots thru out the terminal. There are plenty of restaurants, slow and fast foods. If you’re here for leisure, they have souvenirs at the gift shops. They are pricier than outside, but do you really want to spend your vacation time finding souvenirs? Overall it’s a clean and pleasant terminal with all the amenities to make your travels convenient and stress free!
