We feature the very best in local live music, Jazz/funk/soul/blues/electronic, etc. every night of the week starting at 10PM with additional shows on the weekends starting at 7PM. theres NEVER a cover charge yet the musicians that play here are world class. it’s also a famous spot for musicians getting off gigs elsewhere and wanting to drop in late for a jam session (and some liquor) and you will know why the moment you walk in. Charlie Hunter, Macklemore, Alan Stone, Roy Hargrove, Blake Lewis, Kevin Sawka, etc…
History
Established in 2003.
Opened in 2003 on OCT 31st, we have hosted some amazing parties and left with too many unforgettable nights to recount. some of the best bands in seattle have gotten their start at the seaMonster. ask the musicians around town where they hang out? it’s been 10 years, and we are about to embark on another construction project in an effort to double our capacity and offer a higher quality experience to our community. we are serving gourmet comfort food from 5pm-1am every night except sundays and mondays when our kitchen stays open til 10pm and showcase live music every night starting at 10pm with additional shows at 7pm on the weekends. come hang with some cool cats and listen to some grown folks music. Never a cover charge

Business Owner
i grew up in the san francisco bay area. my parents are both hispanic immigrants with extreme work ethic. i’m the lazy one. i graduated high school and got into music, put out a single and garnered little attention. i went overseas and performed in/managed the largest bird show in the world. moved to seattle in 98 and fell in love. set down my roots and opened the seaMonster in 2003 down the street from where i live. 9 years later i’m still here, bartending, booking, cooking, cleaning, and performing.
