Ask for Julie. Best French manicure in Seattle. Not to mention a great person. Approx 60 for shellack mani /​spa pedi which seems like a great deal.

I wish I could give zero stars. Over priced. Terrible service. Awful. I have tried to come back multiple times to give them the benefit of the doubt and have never left happy. Today was the last time I will ever attempt to come in again after being shoo’d out before the official closing hours because they didn’t feel like giving me a quick manicure.

I went and had a pedicure and shellac manicure at this salon. The result was actually very nice, however they really need to improve on their hygiene. Dirty floors, dirty benches, no clean towels NO STERILIZATION of the instruments! Their work is good, however I wouldn’t recommend this place unless they change some things. They were 3 fine ladies I can’t believe their work place looked like this. They are the only nail salon at u village and they should be full but they are not probably because of that.

It’s actually hard to believe this place is in business. I walked in with a friend at 4 pm. There were two technicians and one customer. They started working on my friend first and she got a regular manicure. The paint job was poor.
I got a shellac manicure and seriously feel that I was robbed. The woman was distracted the entirety of the time and painted my nails BEFORE she filed them or cut the cuticles. What?! It didn’t even make sense! She neglected to paint my entire nail, the edges were left bare and she was generally rough. When she was finished and I looked at what she had done, I was horrified! I can’t believe that they charge anything for this service let alone $ 40!

I’m not a huge fan of the place for nails but Linda does a great job with lashes! $ 120 for a full set and $ 45 for a fill that’s not timed? Great deal!

I hate giving bad reviews and often will give the business the benefit of the doubt. I started going to this place for a few months because the location was convenient and the prices were reasonable. Their staff is friendly and they do good work. However they offer very little polish options and the location offers little atmosphere, no tv or music. The tipping point for me was when I went in mid day during the week for a pedicure and fill and like most was looking forward to a relaxing treatment. They started on my pedi first. I grabbed a magazine, turned on the massage chair and settled in. The next thing I knew, they turned off the massager and took my hand to begin working simultaneously on my fill preventing me from being able to read my magazine. I was quite turned off by this, the shop was empty, they had plenty of staff and it was mid-​day. Half way thru my pedi they moved me to nail station to begin applying the acrylic. The woman conducting my pedicure sat in a chair next to me and literally lifted my leg onto her lap to begin my foot massage. Facing left, I then had to reach my right hand over my body to the nail station to the woman completing my fill. This was nearly impossible and l was visibly uncomfortable. Definitely not the relaxing service I was expecting. I was so visibly put off during both services, I’m surprised they didn’t pick up on this. I know they were hurting for business at the time due to the parking lot construction at u village so you’d think they’d go above and beyond to provide their loyal customers with a pleasant experience. I will not be going back to this place.

This was honestly my first pedicure ever. And to be baptized into this whole new amazing world of nailcare, I cannot wait to go somewhere else! Because I’ve never done this before, the foot massage and massaging chair was enough for me to say, «omg I love it» But then when I left, I first of all wasn’t happy with the fact that I couldn’t communicate with my nail… specialist? No, nail lady cause she couldn’t speak any English. If you don’t speak French, you don’t work in France, same everywhere else in the world.
Anyway, I then went to my coworkers to talk about my experience cause I was just not sure about the whole thing since I couldn’t talk to her. They then began to list off all the things wrong with what they saw: no clear coat or buff, badly done calluses, uneven nails and so on and so forth. Honestly I should have known something was up when I asked the lady 5 times, «are we done?» And in response got nothing more than a long drawn out, «oooooohhhhhhh.» And on top of that, all other employees just sat there and stared and did not once try to help translate for the poor bad nail lady. I’m sure she was scared and confused why I was repeating the same gibberish (English) over and over to her. Honestly, not worth $ 25. Especially considering by the end it got super awkward and embarrassing cause I felt like some migrant slave was working on my feet. Not some nice, respectable woman that knows what she’s doing.

The price is good and the massage chairs were bomb! I didn’t realize they closed at 6 because they took us in for a 6:45 appointment. Service was great. Not too chatty but still pleasant.

This salon must have turned over a new leaf since these negative reviews were written, because when I went in last Saturday I received one of the best pedicures I’ve ever had. The nail technician was friendly, not too chatty, and 100% focused on my feet for the entire 30+ minutes. Not only did she buff and exfoliate until my feet felt brand new, she also gave me a heavenly 10+ minute foot/​leg massage using a rich, fruity smelling lotion that left my legs glimmering for the rest of the day.
The only downside to my visit was a 10 minute wait (there were only 3 technicians working that day), but the magazine and massage chair I was offered made the time fly by, and the quality of the pedicure erased any disgruntled thought that might have crossed my mind.
Overall, a very pleasant experience!

I feel bad this place has gotten so many negative reviews! Granted it’s not the most luxurious spa in town, but it’ll do the job if you want a decent, affordable mani/​pedi. While I agree it’s not all that nice inside, it’s not filthy either. It’s obviously family-​run, and the women are very friendly and often remember names of loyal customers.
If you want a swanky luxurious manicure, this isn’t the place. But if you need a last-​minute mani/​pedi for a good price, I’d recommend Seatop.

NEVER GO HERE. Worst treatment and
service I’ve ever received. Completely Careless manicure. I wish I could upload a photo to show how bad it actually is. On top of that, we were rushed out the door even though it was 15 minutes before closing time, and we were not given any time to let our nails dry so they smudged
immediately after leaving. They don’t even have UV lights or specialized drying fans. I am concerned that I might be experiencing a bacterial infection soon due to the fact that their instruments seem
to have seldom been cleaned, and they certainly did not do any cleaning before they left. Awful, horrible experience and not a cent cheaper than Hoa in Roosevelt where they have great service in a lovely environment. Don’t waste your money. Please.

Went b/​c I was in desperate need of a pedi and couldn’t get an appt at my usual place. Worst pedicure I’ve ever had — will not be going back. There are only 3 parking spots in the lot for the nail salon, and they charge you 10% extra if you use a credit card instead of cash.

I should have taken the prior reviews of this place more seriously, but as they were old, and I was in the neighborhood, I gave it a chance. The salon was very messy, with rags strewn everywhere and trash overflowing in the bathroom. The massage chair I was seated in didn’t work properly, and my $ 25 pedicure lasted under 20 minutes, with maybe 20 seconds devoted to trimming cuticles and another 20 to a massage, given after my toes were painted, which seemed odd. When I paid with a credit card, an additional $ 2 fee was added, despite the fact I wasn’t told in advance. DON’T GO!

I went to this nail salon on a recommendation. OY! Dirty is the first word that comes to mind. Filth everywhere, nothing was cleaned, a layer of grime on all the equipment and spa chairs. They also have a very sweet dog running about the shop — is that sanitary?
It also seems that they don’t steralize their tools as I saw no evidence of such in the shop. I did not realize this until she had started snipping away so I am praying I don’t get an infection of sort.
My pedicure was fast, not that relaxing and I had to pay 10% for using my debit card.
I love to support small business but if I am in the University Village area again I will book ahead at InSpa — at least they make an appearance of sterilizing their tools and cleaning their store in general.

Ugh…I’ve stopped in for a quick manicure — I didn’t let them cut my cuticles, and the polish didn’t last, but it was cheap and fast.

Bad everything awaits you at this churn ‘em in, churn ‘em out nail joint. Yuck. I hate to give it any stars. I refer to the visit as the «painful pedicure.» Water was cold. The guy (yes, it was a guy) was rough. Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. They should give you a Lamisil sample on the way out the door. Yuck. If you do happen to go, check credentials on anyone who works on you and make sure everything is clean. Yuck.
