Seattle Chocolates

I have always liked the Seattle Chocolates truffles and passed the factory multiple times but did not know they had a retail store inside. One day, my coworker had a brown paper bag of chocolates that said snicker doodle and and told me that was where he had bought them.
After work that day I went to check out the store and was amazed. They have long tables filled with their colorful packaging and a huge wall of the paper bags. I found out the paper bags are what they call ‘seconds’. Chocolate that taste just as great, but not pretty enough for retail. Great deal!
The cashier was super friendly too. I’ll definitely be stopping by again.

Yay for chocolate!!! They have bags of chocolate for $ 5!!! Its ones that didn’t sell, had to much of or broken. But they still taste amazing! Only thing you can’t go in expecting one flavor since they change.
They also have samples of chocolate!
And so many different flavors! My favorite is pike espresso!
Staff was super helpful, signed us up for the rewards program when you buy the «seconds» bags.

I love the colorful little truffles that you can pick and buy by weight. There are so many flavors and I still haven’t found my favorite. I think they’re about $.40 each and I just get to make my own gift package of chocolate flavors that I like. There weren’t many variety of flavors for the big $ 5 bags with imperfect chocolate and they were all on the samples table. If I liked the flavors next time I’ll buy them.

Growing up in Seattle, I always loved eating Seattle Chocolates. Now that I live in LA, I go to the retail outlet store every time I am in Seattle. The chocolates are amazing, and the $ 5 seconds bags are the best deal around.

I love this place. I was in Seattle for vacation and made it a priority to come here as this is one of my favorite truffle brand and it’s hard to find them in California. This is a good size store in the middle of nowhere. I made a beeline straight for the bags of seconds which were $ 5 each. I bought 8 bags and got some free bars for doing a fb check-​in. It was such a good deal i felt like i was robbing the place. Some flavors i got was cherry, raspberry, orange, sea salt, cappuccino. They also had small bags of chocolate covered almonds or raisins for $.50 each. I wish I had more time to look at the other bars but I had a plane to catch. I’m definitely coming by next time I’m in Seattle.

The sea salt chocolate is my favorite And I got to try that as a free sample on top of 4 other flavors.
I picked up a bag of those on the «seconds» shelf for only $ 5! What a deal!

I did not know about this place until recently. I am so glad that I gave this place a try! The store space is very cute and spacious.
Since this is a factory location, I wasn’t expected to find beautifully packed chocolate but they have very attractive looking chocolate gift boxes. I wish if they open late or weekends.
Anyway, I highly recommend this place!

don’t know why but they didn’t taste as well in the store as they f o now while at home.

I had only tried their truffles at work or on Alaska Airlines flights previously. My mom recently came to visit and asked if we could go visit the shop because she also had a truffle on her flight to visit.
I think we spent about $ 30 and got 3 different bags of the «seconds» chocolate which is $ 5/​bag and just as yummy! (Just not packaged prettily). Also a few different regular bars– including pb&j, 12^th man, and birthday bar. Also got some assorted truffles and chocolate covered almonds and raisins.
Everything we’ve tried has been so good! My favorite so far is the champagne– it tastes like pop rocks exploding in your mouth. I love it!
The girl working was also super friendly, and the location is very cute. Definitely recommend stopping by!

I havent heard of this brand until i received a gift box, tried 3 truffles, didint like them at all. Very bland. Didint do much to me! I think ill throw the box. For a natural chocolate i thought it was gonna taste more potent or have an interesting taste or anything new, but nope, very very bland…

I only have good things to say about this place… It’s super cute, local, has amazing high-​quality chocolate, and is woman owned, how much better can it get?!
But really, the staff members here are all really friendly and go above and beyond to help you (even when it’s something unrelated to their business).
The toffee chocolates are my favorite and the $ 5 bags if «seconds» (factory mess ups) are just as good as the other chocolates wrapped up. They’re both made from the same quality ingredients, the «seconds» just didn’t come out of the mold properly.

I am a huge fan of Seattle Chocolates. This factory is down the road from my work so I started going there for the bags of «seconds» where you can get a brown bag full of chocolate for only $ 5. They have every single flavor in the «seconds» bags and they also offer samples daily so you can try the flavors! I also have bought their chocolate bars and truffles as well and have never been disappointed.
I usually go to Seattle Chocolates for my personal chocolate fix, but most recently I ordered 125 holiday Seattle Chocolate bars for work. I worked with Casey M. and she was wonderful and made the process super easy. I will continue to go to Seattle Chocolates for all of my chocolate needs!

Two words: truffle bars. Seattle Chocolates makes my favorite Pike Place espresso and San Juan sea salt milk chocolate truffle bars. I’ve always felt that truffles were too small: 1 – 2 bites of chocolatey goodness needs to be made into a bigger and better truffle bar. That’s exactly what the truffle bars from Seattle Chocolates are like. One of my friends had mailed me a care package with the espresso truffle bar, and it was like drinking a finely crafted mocha drink in chocolate bar form. I even got the kick from the caffeine in the espresso beans and the chocolate.
The Seattle Chocolates retail store in Tukwila offers these flavors and more. The store is nestled in a strip mall-​like complex amongst furniture stores and warehouses. There is parking in the accompanying lot. There are always samples of flavors, and one can try as much of a flavor as they like. If you’re looking for a seasonal flavor that is almost or just out of season (when they’ve sold out at REI and Bartell’s), then you’re likely to find the flavor at the retail store. I found the hot buttered rum flavor (think butterbeer from Harry Potter in chocolate form) from the holiday season in January when Bartell’s had stopped carrying them and REI was out of stock. The hot buttered rum flavor was a treat for my university’s quidditch team (yes, we have one of those and there are quidditch world cups!).

First time here. Like and rate, you get two bars? I liked them prior to flying from California and I guess people abuse the system so she couldn’t give me two bars for that reason. Instead I got one. I was pretty sad about that. I got the whole pound of truffles. Havent tried them yet! But will do once I get home!

Our family loves to come and visit! (Sampling chocolates is another plus!) The folks at the site are so incredibly kind and I also admire as well as appreciate their pride in being a part of such community/​global minded company. The chocolate is to die for and the flavor choices are original. This is our family’s must-​do stop when we come to visit from California! Can’t wait till we get in to see them again!

I don’t know how much the chocolates cost and what else the store has to offer. One of my mom’s patients gifted her a huge bag of assorted chocolates and they are SCRUMPTIOUS.
The chocolate size are pretty small and are easily devoured in one bite.
I can’t stop eating, so yummy.

My wife and I love love love Seattle Chocolate. God, that stuff is good. So visiting their factory store was worth the nearly 45 minute drive when we were visiting relatives last time. They’ve got everything there, including a few things you can’t get anywhere else. Best deal: the bags of «seconds» — over $ 15 worth of chocolate for $ 5 because each bar has some small imperfection.

Oh Seattle Chocolate how I love thee. I had driven past this place a ton but decided to stop in and boy am I glad I did. Chocolate everywhere and only $ 5 for a big bag of «ugly but still taste amazing truffles?!» Count me in, and in again. So good. They also have regular packaged items for gifts etc. I picked up the lemon drop the other day and oh YUM. I am not sure why I have no inhaled the entire bag yet.
Sales lady is very sweet (pun intended) and knowledgeable. She will let you sample anything you want in the store. Free chocolate too? Have I died and gone to heaven? Appears so.

Since I have always enjoyed Seattle Chocolates truffles and bars, their retail store was definitely on my to find list when vacationing in Seattle. It has become increasingly more difficult for me to find them in CA these days and when I do find them, it is very limited selections.
This retail store is part of their actual chocolate factory! When I walked in, I was in awe of all the Seattle Chocolates in one place
. It was beyond exciting for me. I was saying in my head, «Restraint,» but OMG rows and rows of truffles, truffle bars, chocolate bars, gift assortments, five dollar bags of slightly «imperfect chocolates» and make your own truffle bags for $ 20.
I could not believe how many flavors of truffles and bars there were in this store. I had no idea so many flavors were made by this company. The five dollar imperfect bags were a deal. These bags of truffles or chocolates had slight cosmetic imperfections and were not wrapped in pretty colors, but who cares.
What a deal if you just want mass quantities of their goods without the frills. My favorite bar is the San Juan Sea Salt Milk Chocolate bar so purchased several of those plus I could not resist one of the Savory Ramen Komforte Chocklates bars which actually had pieces of ramen in it. Sounded too interesting to pass up!
Sandra, who was the fabulous salesgirl in the store, was a joy. She educated us in all things Seattle Chocolate and offered up samples of ANYTHING we wanted in the store! She was funny, friendly and so very helpful. Great to find someone who is so enthusiastic and committed to her job. She made our visit there so special. At the end of our visit, the three of us were putting our hands up to all the free samples. You know you’ve found a great place when you are saying, «I would love another free sample, but I have to stop.» All in all one of my favorite stops in Seattle. Make sure to seek it out if you are ever in Seattle. Hidden in an industrial area, the retail store in their factory is definitely worth the trip! They also have a website where you can purchase any of their goods at their online shop.

i rarely ever crave chocolate or buy it for myself. and i am not a huge fan of raspberry flavored anything. BUT. the raspberry crème truffles are effing amazing from here!
a guest at work gave them to us because he knew that with so little time between flights we never get to grab something to eat. how sweet! i immediately fell in love with them and i can’t wait to find them and buy them for myself and for my friends.
fortunately i’ll have time to find this place in a couple of weeks. i’ll let ya know how my visit goes!
