We bring help for dogs with challenging behaviors and help their owners earn their dogs’ trust and respect with Home Behavior Consults.

We assess the dog’s temperament, identify the multiple root problems, and help your dog achieve not only the balance intended in nature but also the calm respect and obedience you desire.

We bring help for dogs who are anxious, insecure and fearful, including those with separation anxiety. We also bring help for dogs who are fighting, biting, growling, dominant and aggressive. There is also help for canine chewing, barking, digging, jumping up on you and guests, leash pulling and lunging, and just plain being stubborn. Neither age, size nor breed matter. We help you transform chaos into peace.

History

Established in 1994.

This business started in central Texas with «horse whisperer» training. There were always knarly dogs on these horse ranches, and by necessity dogs were pulled into the ring to learn polite behaviors along with their equine counterparts. (The animal ways and principles for gently and patiently helping them are quite similar.) Over time, the horse demand dwindled while the dog need skyrocketed, and dogs became the central focus.

Seattle was always the summer working get-​away. With the blistering heat of Texas, it was always enjoyable and pleasant to switch dog training venues to this great city. Only after the owner’s family were all lost did the owner pull up stakes and claim Seattle as her permanent home.

Lyndy A.

Business Owner

After Lyndy received her undergrad and graduate degrees, she moved on to work in marketing management for a Fortune 100. She took the leap from the corporate world to join her family and follow her passion, animal training. Her ongoing academic studies and many of her principles are based on the science of anthropological canine behavior.
