Half casual restaurant, half fish market. Delicious cod fish and chips and clam chowder. My husband ordered the salmon and chips, and it was just ok. Get the cod! Prices are awesome for happy hour.

We came by for early dinner and were pleased with the selections and prices. Although service was slow, we were pleased with our meal. We also had early bird, oysters on the half-​shell. Oyster Po’Boy was on the bready side, but enjoyable. Fish and chips seemed like the best bet. You can choose cod, halibut, or salmon fish and chips. We tried an assortment and agreed that cod is the way to go.

was served cold chips and fish. and it takes a long time to get your order, my guess is they forgot to bring me mine. you can tell they lack experience as servers and are very concerned with other things … one thing i know for sure i will not return …
they do have happy hour which is good. i like that

Pretty tasty. My husband ordered the cod sandwich and it was the tastiest thing we ordered. I had the salmon sandwich and it was a bit too heavy, I guess I don’t like salmon in battered/​fried form. In the past we’ve had the fish & chips as well as the cioppino. Both are fairly solid.

Yummiest fish and chips I’ve had! Friendly and welcoming service and a very «local market» vibe. Expect great food and a non-​fancy environment. It seems like it can get pretty busy but an ounce of patience will take you a long way! Tons of seafood to choose from and an assortment of beer and wine. It’s a win win.

Excellent service, great food and friendly atmosphere! Drinks were brought out immediately and the food was at our table in under 10mins. The steamed clams and mussels were delicious. Overall I was very impressed.

Have bought my fresh fish here for some time. Love the service and choices. They always tell you what’s fresh and what’s frozen. Quality fish at a respectable price. Finally had some time during lunch to enjoy an oyster po boy. Lots of good fried oysters on the sandwich. Didn’t love the fancy bread. Would be an amazing sandwich on a simple French bread. Will keep coming back but will try out some other menu options.

Excellent! Best fish and chips ever. Also enjoyed fish tacos and clam chowder. Delivery was quick. We’ll be enjoying Seattle fish house again soon!

I enjoyed my meal. The fish is clearly fresh as they are also a fish monger with a seafood restaurant. The Po Boy was really good and the chips were cooked perfectly. I didn’t have the fish and chips but I saw it. The fish has a breadcrumb crust which would have disappointed me. The clam chowder is one of the best with a lot of clam, little filler and full of flavor.
I would save the disappointment and my recommendation to avoid was the steamed mussels or clams. The broth is bland and uninteresting which is good as they don’t give you enough bread to even enjoy it. Also, I got a lot of broken clams and mussels. I can understand a few but I got a lot.

Shrimp was good, it was battered. Fried halibut was good and not oily. Grilled salmon was bad. First time it came out it was burned, the bottom was as black as coal and smelled like it too. I am surprised they even served it. We returned it. Second remake seemed good, but at first bite it was actually raw inside. We returned it again. Third time it was fully cooked, but bland. I guess they don’t season it, or forgot to when they remade it the third time. The piece is also very small for the price. They should let us know how much we are getting. Overall, a fairly quick meal turned into longer due to the remakes. Fried stuff was better, grilled was a fail. Probably won’t be returning since we spent too much and it wasn’t amazing.

Just stepped out after buying fish… Let’s just say I am not coming back again. The quality of the fish looks average, the prices are the same as what you would see at Metropolitan Market (with better looking fish at MM, may I add), and the service here is awful. We came when it was dead and the gentleman who served us was rude, not helpful and seemed inconvenienced by the fact that we wanted to buy fish. Also, though I realize Seattle charges for plastic bags, it’s rude to ask if your customer needs a bag after they are basically walking out the door while clearly struggling to hold 3 bags of fish.

This review today was for misquoting portions/​overcooked seafood/​small portions and over priced for quality.
Friendly order taker, but was in error in how many fried oysters I would get– He quoted I should get 6 pieces, however, there was only 3 pieces when order came to table. I was with out of town guests and didn’t want to raise fuss in front guest. Sigh
And to make it worse, 3 Oysters $ 9 were over fried and my friend’s pan seared halibut $ 22 were over cooked, making our seafood dry and chewy. Yuck. Another friend had salmon $ 22 Grilled, but small.
Even with side salads or grilled veggies on side — everything was small in portion for the price.
Table service was attentive, I wish we had given our honest opinion about our dining experience but we actually didn’t say anything when how was the food. I just said, «ugh!!!»
The place was pretty busy around 8:00, and maybe this place is known for fish and. Chips in other reviews and what a majority of patrons were eating when leaving. I hope they don’t overfly the fish. Hmmm
Prices were high for what you get, and not cooked very well. Whoever, was the cook should have been shot for ruining these pieces of seafood.
Sorry, fish company. There are better places in Seattle to get good seafood at better prices and not overcooked and better portions.

Fish and chips for $ 9.00? Done and done. Seattle Fish Company is half fish market and half restaurant so you can be pretty much assured that the food you’re getting is going to be a s fresh as possible. To order you go up to the counter on your left, they give you a number, and bring the food to your table. It’s I guess what you would call quick casual? There’s plenty of seating outside and a few tables on the sidewalk. The food came out quickly and the price is super reasonable compared to what I’m used to.

The cod was fried perfectly. The batter was perfect, it wasn’t too thick, perfectly crispy, golden brown, and the cod was incredibly moist. The french fries were above average being crispy but I think they could have been cooked a little bit longer for that extra crunch I enjoy. The worst item on the plate was definitely the «slaw» which was really more just chopped cabbage and carrots which was lacking any flavor. The only other comment I would make is the batter could have used a touch bit more of salt.

I loved the sautéed scallops and the clam strips! There was a great butter/​garlic sauce on the scallops and the portion was generous. The clam strips were deep fried to perfection and were really meaty.
The crab cakes we’re also really good, no breading inside, just fresh crab meat!
I will definitely be back to try other dishes for my seafood fix!

Prices can add up quick, but dinner for 2 usually runs around $ 50 or so… if you can keep yourself from getting those amazing oyster shooters. $ 2 each during happy hour, and they’re GIGANTIC. Seriously, if the oyster is too small, they put another oyster in the glass. Can’t beat that!!!
I almost always get the steamed clams and mussels (comes with perfectly crispy garlic bread) because the broth is just so damn delicious. The crab cakes are super good too, and obviously the chowder is on point.
Got the poutine today, and maybe I wasn’t super hungry? It was ok, but not as good as the brisket poutine at Vittles in Seattle. THAT poutine was drool worthy to be sure.
Minus half a star for only ok poutine and minus half a star because I hate finding parking. …yes I know that’s not the restaurants fault: P

Their fish and chips are fresh and OK, while the clam chowder is one of the best I’ve had. If you go to west Seattle at a cold winter day, you should definitely try their clam chowder.
As its name suggested, the store is a fish company, and it’s my first impression when I walked in. Raw fish and seafood on the ice waiting for the customers to pick up. It’s very good because now we know their seafood dishes are good.
The fish and chips are very good. The chips are OK but the fish is very fresh and tender. As my picture shows, it was juicy and steaming hot. It sure was some good fish. The only complain was about the batter. They used the bread crumb batter, while I prefer the beer batter because it’s crunchier. Meanwhile, it’s just my personal preference.
One saying of good clam chowder is that if you stick a spoon into the chowder, it will stand still. The chowder they served me totally reached this standard, and beyond. It’s chunky, creamy with lots of potato and clams. The clams in the chowder are extraordinary. Not only the portion is generous, but also the freshness is impressive. They’re so tender and fresh that you can taste the ocean. Literally, it’s one of the best clam chowders I’ve ever had.
I’m sure I will be back again, either for a pint of beer with the crispy fish and chips, or simply a bowl of their delicious clam chowder.

Super fresh panco style fish and chips. Love the fish. I usually get the cod. The chips are alright — there are better, there are worse. The coleslaw is relatively bland but always fresh. Decent selection of beers to complement. Service is great.

I booked reservations here for a group here last night and was extremelyyyy pleased with the service on the phone and throughout the evening.
I had the amazing scallop dish with salad and o.m.g… the scallops was seared perfectly and there were *5* (5star) scallops with my meal.(I love scallops!)
the oyster shooters were also plump and so fresh!!!
Highly recommend this place for lunch/​dinner/​hh :)
