Dr. Sarah is one the most professional dentists in Seattle. She’s always on top of her game. I was extremely pleased by her services and will definitely recommend her to my family and friends. Thank you Dr. Sarah, you sure made me a customer for life!

Really love Dr. Khan and her staff. Don’t give out easy 5 star reviews but very helpful staff.
Dr, Khan is very good. She can do some of the really complicated work outside of the basic cleaning and check up. I would recommend to use her even for some root canals and crowns which dentists like to refer out. This is very good as a patient as my out of pocket drops tremendously as I do not have to see a specialist.
Office is in Downtown and they validate parking if you park in Pacific Place. How cool is that?

I moved to Seattle in 2010 and had to find a new dentist that I really liked. I went through two different dental offices until I found Dr Sarah Khan and her office right downtown. She is an excellent dentist who offers advise without any unnecessary pressure. I’ve been going to her office for about two years now and I’ve had one crown replaced as well as my standard 6 month checkups and the entire experience has been pleasant one.
If you are looking or are considering a new dentist in the downtown area I highly recommend Dr Sarah Khan and her staff. If you go I’m sure that you will be happy that you did.

I had only had one dentist my whole life before I switched to Dr. Khan, (Dr. Fleege) & he was perfect, so I guess I didn’t know what to look for when it came to mistakes. I had this pit in my stomach that things weren’t being done right, but I figured, what do I know? I’m not a dentist. She messed up my cavities, which messed up my bite (3 now need to be grooved out/​fixed, & another she missed). She pays no attention to occlusion (the bite) much less your teeth. My night grinder has to be fixed because the bite on that was all wrong too. She couldn’t be bothered to remember details from my chart, as she asked me about 8 times if I had braces; each time I told her no. She bullied me into writing a review the first time I saw her. She told me to please write her a review, even though I’d only seen her for 5 minutes, so of course, like everyone else, I did.
The hygienists seemed decent (even though I never saw the same one twice in 2 years.) The people at the desk were nice. So what is it to me, I thought? & I gave her 5 stars, like a duped fool. At first i gave her 4, but I felt so guilty, I apologized & edited it to 5.
There was a chip on my teeth that needed to be fixed. The first time she fixed it, it fell off 2 days later. So she fixed it again, after arguing w/​me on how she couldn’t really do what I wanted & shaving down a front tooth I DID NOT ask her to shave down! (2make the left front tooth look smaller comparably.) A refund, yes, but but she lorded it over me, like I owed her for the inconvenience (even though it was her mistake). She printed out pictures of my teeth blown out, each tooth an entire page, so I could show them to a dentist, since she said it would be impossible to fix the chip all the way– she acted like I would be crazy to get a 2^nd opinion– yet the chip fell off for a 2^nd time, even though I did what «she advised.“Turns out a full fix was possible, even advisable, just not for her.
I’m glad that instead of just getting a 2^nd opinion, I finally switched dentists permanently. «This lady sounds mean,» my mom said. I kept saying «But what do I know?» Thank goodness I finally caved, cancelling our last cleaning, seeing somebody else that came highly recommended the very same day. This was not in my head; as she fixed the chip for the 2^nd time, she pushed so hard, I actually said «ow!» She just ignored me. Wow! Anger issues, much?
The first 6 times I saw Khan, she didn’t check my bite. No «tap tap tap.» in fact, I’ve seen her since she opened this practice, & she never inspected my bite until the last time, when she had messed up my front tooth chip fix.
The last time I saw her she inappropriately asked me in front of her nurse if I’d washed my hair that day. But instead of calling her out, I was honest. I answered «no,? But uh sometimes I get depressed, & can go a day without washing it, you know?» She shook her head grimly, looking at me like I was scum on her shoe.
I now have a cavity that should have caught more than 6 six months go, according to my new dentist. Khan claims to have all the latest in technology but it wasn’t until I saw another dentist that I realized just how grave the error in seeing her was. Khan didn’t have a perio chart on me despite the fact that I know they measured my gums, nor did they take the 3 – 5 year x-​rays that are par for the course in most other practices. Unusually rushed, she never took more than a cursory peek at my teeth. She did not get up close w/​the little mirror & scraper, & that was a problem. I was also told I had gingivitis from brushing too hard, but today I learned that my gingivitis was not caused from brushing too hard.
I had a pit in my stomach every time I saw her but I ignored my instincts. Don’t be as stupid as I was.
EDIT: New dentist fixed the chip in my tooth, & without me even needing to ask, did the front back & sides, something Khan said was «impossible» because of my bottom tooth. She said it would fall off immediately & not stay on, etc. But the only chip that fell off was hers, TWICE. Also, there was a lot of composite they had to fix. The assistant was like «omg, is that all composite?» My bite feels so much better now, thank goodness, but I went through six months feeling like my bite was off, yet Khan & co. said that was «normal» after a procedure. It’s not. The only thing is that I’ll probably have to ask my new dentist to elongate my other tooth back to its original size, since Khan shaved part of it off w/​out asking me. :(But at least now I have options. My teeth look & feel better since the Khan debacle. My new dentist matched my tooth to a color, & did other work Khan never could or would.
Maybe I’m being too honest, but I had a truly subpar experience. Sure, not all the cavities she fixed were messed up, but several were– & then there was the thing w/​the chip, gingivitis misinformation, not catching cavities in time, pushing a possibly unneeded nightguard that didn’t fit, & her condescension.

Dr Kahn has been my dentist since moving to Seattle two years ago. I have had everything from regular cleanings to complex implants done by Dr. Khan and can’t speak highly enough of her and her staff. A true full-​service dentist using the newest technology. Office is also clean and conveniently located in the Medical Dental Building downtown. 5 stars, highly recommended.

I had a great experience at Seattle Sound Dental. The entire staff are extremely accommodating and friendly, not to mention attractive. My hygienist was Christiney who gave me one of the most thorough cleanings I ever had. After she was done, I could feel the difference. I highly recommend giving their office a try if you’re in the market for a new dentist. As everyone else says, Dr. Kahn is also very knowledgeable but I haven’t spent as much time with her since I luckily didn’t have any cavities.

Dr Kahn is a great dentist, a breath of fresh air.

Dr. Khan is an incredible dentist. I’ve been a patient of hers for the last handful of months, and she has done amazing things for my teeth. I’m one of those folks who are prone to dental issues, and she laid out a comprehensive and realistic plan for fixing the issues I was having. Just last week, she placed fillings on my front two teeth that had been cracked. Last night, one had chipped slightly again, and she saw me first thing this morning. I’ve never had a dentist as responsive as her. Also, her staff are wonderful and incredibly professional. Cannot recommend highly enough!

I visited Dr Khan for the first time a few months ago and it was a great experience. I was able to schedule an appointment for our whole family to go together. Parking was a no-​brainer as they validate parking at the Pacific Place (location is also super convenient since it’s close to my office). The staffs were warm and welcoming. There was a great treasure chest to keep the little ones busy while waiting. The hygienist took the time to clean deeply and Dr Khan answered my questions thoroughly. The whole experience was pleasant and makes it easy to decide to return in 6 months.

My experience was no doubt one of the best when it comes to dentists. I wasn’t born with a perfect smile but working towards achieving one :) The office is really clean and her staff makes you feel very comfortable. I would suggest Dr. Khan to anyone dealing with dental issues or even general up keep. It’s very hard to find a dentist who is not only knowledgeable but also knows how to explain the procedure to their patient. My search for dentist is finally over!

I had been seeing the same dentist for years while I lived in Wallingford, loved her. Unfortunately, we had to move since we bought a house in West Seattle two summers ago and trekking to Wallingford for an appointment was pretty inconvenient. My old dentist referred me to Dr. Kahn’s practice in the Medical-​Dental building locate on 6^th and Olive. I work downtown so it was an easy walk to my appointments. Upon first meeting, the office is not as updated as my previous dentist, but the city views and the amazing staff sure make up for it! Dr. Kahn is professional and listens to all my questions and concerns. All the way from Lynn, the sweet receptionist, to Andre, Shivon and Joe-​the hygienist team; the staff has just been the best complete welcoming package! My 14 year-​old daughter enjoys going there as well. It really helps that they have extended office hours (I prefer appts between 5−6pm) and every now and then maybe a Saturday. They try to be very accommodating to your schedule and keep you well informed about any upcoming appts or changes to appts. I like getting text message reminders that I can just hit «YES» to confirm an appt. Its on the 10^th floor and they validate parking for Pacific Place. If you can’t make your appt, they won’t guilt trip you and understand that everyone has busy schedules.
I just received my cleaning yesterday too-​no cavities! Yeah! And when I got my first crown put on, Dr. Kahn and her staff not only walked me through what to expect from the procedure, but they answered all my questions and would follow-​up with me to check if I was experiencing any pain or discomfort days later.
Every time I’m in, it feels like I’m seeing all my friends. They are personal, yet still very professional. Love them!

I usually don’t take the time to write reviews but Dr. Sarah Khan and her staff were amazing in helping me with my emergency case. I don’t live in Seattle but needed urgent care for my molar and was lucky that Dr. Kahn saw me the same day I called. They were professional, confident, and helped me stay calm during my whole procedure. I wish I could be a regular patient here.

Toothache especially when you don’t have a regular dentist is a terrible thing. I ended up with a swollen and painful gum over a weekend. Dr Khan and the team not only got me into their offices quickly but also performed a complex procedure to remove a broken root from my gums. Not only was the procedure performed impeccably, Dr Khan followed through with me regularly after the procedure. I have quite a busy work schedule and Dr Khan and the team at Seattle Sound Dental always help accommodate my schedules… At every visit Dr Khan and her team explain the procedure they are proposing and it fits into my specific situation. I would highly recommend the team at Seattle Sound Dental and Dr Khan !!!

I went to the previous dentist that Dr. Khan bought the practice from for 16 years along with my three sisters. As you can imagine with such a big change I was apprehensive. During my first visit, we discussed a the replacement of one of my front teeth with an implant as the tooth was at risk of breaking or falling out. There was great concern of it happening while I was traveling especially because I travel to a developing country several times a year. Dr. Khan discussed this with me in a factual manner with an understanding the emotional impact of losing one of my front teeth would be for me. I have high anxiety about the dentist in general but adding that to the to this situation was over the top. Dr. Khan provided me the pros and cons of making a proactive or reactive choice. It was not an easy decision but I decided to choose the proactive treatment plan.
She assisted me through my process to find the right oral surgeon and after my consults she met with each specialist to understand the treatment plan and followed up with me to answer any questions. After each of my appointments I would stop in and let them know how things were going and the team was eager to hear the progress. Dr. Khan has been instrumental through a nine month multi-​phase dental procedure. Her expertise as part of the treatment plan has been reassuring along with her charismatic nature. Both a necessity through this process. She even checked in with me prior to my surgery with the specialist to make sure all my questions were answered and provided assurance. Not only is Dr. Khan awesome so is her team. You can tell she hand picks the right personalities to be part of her dental team. Lynn at the front desk has been amazing to assist me. She was with the previous dentist and she was helpful when she continued with the practice. She is very informed when dealing with insurance and she also has relationships with other specialist in the building. Nancy at the front desk is very knowledgeable, friendly and happy to help. I know if Lynn isn’t available Nancy will be able to help without any reservations. The hygienists and dental assistants are masters of their expertise. Helpful, friendly and thorough. like over-​charging to pay for it. It doesn’t smell medicinal but you know it is spotless. Downtown parking paid and email and text reminders.

Dr Khan is a great dentist & has helped greatly improve my overall dentist experience. She does a great job explaining things in detail and is excellent with the procedures she does. Recently had a filling done which was expertly done. She also had a fantastic front office, who help greatly setting up appointments and with insurance stuff. Ana who was my hygienist was probably the best regular cleaning that I have had across quite a few places in downtown Seattle. Greatly helps that all the equipment in the office is spanking new as well. They even had touch screen laptops to take down notes !!!
