Seattle’s most in-​demand bagpiper has been providing high quality Scottish bagpiping performances since 1990, and is a personable, experienced player.

Neil has enhanced weddings, brought a high level of traditional honor to funerals and memorials, and added pomp and ceremony to many other events. Neil lives in Kirkland, and will travel any distance to play at your event.

Neil has been the Resident Bagpiper at the Golf Club At Newcastle since 2004, piping the sun down from May through September. Neil also offers piping instruction. He teaches individuals and four local police and firefighter pipe bands.

Neil is awesome!
We spoke with him at the wedding show and he was very easy to get along with and very helpful.
We were with him at Newcastle for our wedding in Sept 2015. He was so funny and took amazing photos with us.
He’s also very amazing at his job. He starts and you get chills; that’s the type of bagpiper Neil is.
Highly recommend for anything from a beautiful wedding ceremony or an unfortunate loss; but I’m not sure if he does funerals?
You can find him at Newcastle Golf Course at sunset for a beautiful show.
Can’t say enough good about this man.

My 12 year old has been working with Neil for about a year. He had been wanting to learn to play the bagpipes after learning about our families Scottish history. Neil is an incredibly patient and talented bagpipe instructor. He pushes just enough to see continued progress but not too much where you’ll squish a pre-​teens love for learning music especially when it gets challenging. My son loves the chanter, wants to go to his lessons each week, enjoys Neil immensely and I am grateful to Neil for making our child’s introduction to music so successful!!! He’s a true gem of a teacher and I’d highly recommend him to anyone of all ages.
