Discovered these guys on the east side in a crunch to find food on my way to a job interview. There’s nowhere nearby to eat and there they were having appeared. I wonder if this is how people feel when they see big foot. I had the sobchak with the Salvadoran slaw and omgosh it was amazing! Their hot dogs also have magical properties as I got the job I interviewed for! I am hooked.

Can I just say«holy crap this place is good?» We hired this cart to be one of a few food vendors for our company’s summer picnic which attracted about 600 people. Hands down, this was one of my favorite trucks at the event. Their hot link with cream cheese and spicy sauce is super amazing. Seriously, even their cream cheese tasted amazing. I WILL be hunting down this stand the next time I want a delish hot dog/sausage. Highly recommend this place!

The Good: A hot dog place that is near work?! The Bad: Costco hotdogs are what I ended up with. The Ugly: That the whole experience was 10 $ for 2 dogs that I can get at costco for half. Conclusion: I will definitely not be getting a secret sausage again. I did not get the pepper sauce, nor the secret sausage. Most of the reviews here are for that, so if there is anything unique because of those, I missed out. However it speaks volumes when you have 3 ‘adult’ dogs(not including the field roast veg version) and 2 of them are just store bought dogs. The rolls weren’t like traditional bolillo rolls I have had, so that threw me off as well. If you need that sausage, and they are by, it can be had. However, you would be better off finding a nearby 7 – 11.

I CRAVE these guys’ sausage! All innuendo aside, this is some seriously delicious food. Top to bottom everything on the menu is delicious. My favorite is a custom order they call the«Midnight Sophie», the Sobchak(Polish) with cream cheese and slaw. It’s not on the menu, but even the grumpy little guy smiles when you order it. Absolute money in the bank with these guys! The secret sausage with the homemade spicy sauce is the go to. Every time I see a cart I am sure to go. No other food stand will hold me back! Keep up the good work!

My «Go-To» Day Dog! SITREP Most of the time when I satisfy my «Seattle Dog» cravings, I’m up on Capitol Hill, clubbing at The Mercury or Neighbors, and grabbing something at 1am, 2am or later in the morning. What is wonderful about Secret Sausage is that they are available during DAYLIGHTHOURS(no shit!) and will satisfy that Seattle Dog craving for lunch! THESETUP Helps to check their schedule to know where they are at: * Mostly on Weekends * Usually During the Lunch Hour or thereabouts * Often at Eagle Leather Anniversary * Will stake out Seahawk games, and cater other special events. THEMENU = Maybe I’m a traditionalist, or I just like to go for their«signature item», but I’m a BIG fan of their, yes, you guessed it: THESECRETSAUSAGE — a HOTLINK on a bolillo roll with tasty very own cream cheese. And for $ 5, I couldn’t ask for a better dog experience! = But for the vegetarians amongst us, there is the MEATLESSSECRET — a Field Roast Mexican Chipotle Vege-Sausage on bolillo roll with or without cream cheese(depending on whether you do dairy or not). They also do some basic polish sausages, may add their tangy slaw, and other condiments as your preference indicates. Sodas, Teas, Chips and other munchies available AS available in stock. THELOWDOWN Dam Great Dog Stand!

One fellow Unilocaler wrote«This isn’t your standard hot dog stand», and that pretty much sums it up! I recently attended a private party that was catered by Secret Sausage. When I first rolled up, I was like oh they have a hot dog stand vendor. Well after the first sausage dog my mind was blown. The bread roll isn’t your normal off the shelf, they cut open each. Cream cheese was in the house which is always welcome. Then he topped it with some homemade vinegar based coleslaw was dang tasty. However the pièce de résistance was the homemade green pepper sauce. Oh my lawd, total package deal! I just might have to start foodie stalking these guys!

This isn’t your standard hot dog stand. These guys are doing something special. I don’t know what«secret» is in the sausage but you can be sure i’m going back for more.

I was pleasantly surprised to see this stand outside my office today. Most of the food trucks we get will leave me standing in line for 20 minutes, but these guys served me immediately. I suppose that’s what you expect from a hot dog stand, but it was still nice. Anyway, the sausage was plump and juicy; cream cheese added to hot dogs is a fantastic idea, and the pepper sauce was just hot enough. I thought the price was pretty good compared to food stands, but not so cheap as to being a bargain.

Such a treat when you find this elusive hot dog stand. They do things right, Seattle style! Hot link on some sort of French roll, with CREAMCHEESE! If you can find this place, you’re sure in for a treat!
