Business Owner

Mark Shuler, Principal of Shuler Architecture, graduated from the Collegeof Architecture and Urban Planning at the Univ. of Michigan in 1985. Upon graduation, he began his career in the distinguished office of David W. Olser, a finalist in the 1978 Vietnam War Memorial Competition in Washington, D. C

In 1992 he began a firm that grew to 15 employees and was responsible for several significant custom homes and estates throughout the Puget Sound. In addition to managing day-​to-​day operations, Mr. Shuler was also largely responsible for managing the design and production of all the firm’s work.

In 2000, Mr. Shuler started the practice he continues to run today. Shuler Architecture is based in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle and is based on principles of timeless design and hands-​on project management. Intentionally small, the firm’s size and efficiency provides value to clients with an assurance that EVERY project receives attention from a highly experienced professional.
