This is a very small park in an area that you wouldn’t normally stumble upon it unless you’re a member of the Seattle Yacht club or going to Palisades for dinner or as I stumbled across this randomly during a run along Myrtle Edwards Park and continued around the pathway towards Magnolia and saw a sign that said beach access and wondered what kind of beach would be in this area. It’s very small park that goes right up to the water. A few picnic tables and trees to surround the area. Great if you want to go somewhere and be alone. The cruise ships come right into this area however so there is some timing that needs to be done. There’s not much else to do other than sit in this park and enjoy the view and solitude. However across the street there are 2 smaller soccer fields but I’ve never seen anyone make use of them.

This odd little park is tucked away underneath the Magnolia bridge and adjacent to an industrial area. Not the most scenic of parks but there is a soccer field of sorts there. It is also located by the water which is never a bad thing. I have never been there when someone else was using the field so if you are looking to avoid crowds to play soccer or Ultimate(frisbee) then give it a try!
