We just brought home an 8 week old puppy and decided to give Sniff a try. We are using their twice-​daily Puppy Out Relief service while we’re at work. We just started today and I stayed home for the first day (as a paranoid new puppy parent :-)) to make sure the puppy handled being in her crate most of the day OK. Our puppy reacted SO well and already LOVES her Sniff walker, Savannah, who is so friendly and great with her. Excited that Sniff makes helping out our puppy during the day such a great experience! I know she’ll be in the best of hands :-)

I just moved to Shoreline, and Sniff Seattle did a fabulous job of walking my 16 month old doodle, Finnegan. Finn is a little shy about meeting new people, and the Sniff Seattle team took extra steps to ensure Finn was comfortable and happy.

Sniff is amazing! We have a 5 month old wheaten named Frank and he is in loooove with Farrah.
Long story short, my husband and I had been planning to get a puppy for a long time in November. Our jobs were pretty flexible at the time we signed up with the breeder. Well, we both switched jobs right before we took the stinker home! We called them a couple days before we brought him home and Farrah had an opening in her line up!

Thank you Sniff Seattle for walking Kody!
Its hard to find a great dog walker around Bellevue, most of them are booked up! I had contacted Jeanna from Sniff a while back but at that time, they did not have any walkers either. Luckily for us as they added Sara in their Bellevue team and they reached out to us.
Sara was absolutely great with our 2 year old shepherd/​lab mix Kody. Our dog is a rescue and is very shy and anxious around new people, but Sara knew exactly how to handle him. Kody loves his new friend now :)! After every walk she sent us pictures and notes on how Kody did. Knowing that Kody was in good hands made all the difference for us when we had to leave him.
The whole team is super responsive and most importantly great with pets! Thanks Sniff!

We have been using Sniff for a little while now and are very happy with the service. The prices seem reasonable and the schedules are very flexible. My wife was home sick one day when they came by. Our dog was very excited to his walker. They always leave him with fresh water.
They are a reliable and friendly service and they take good care of my dog.

Hand’s down the best. I’ve used walkers for over 7 years now and SNIFF exceeded my expectations by far. They were completely flexible coming 2x per day with my anxious dog and Caren, the walker, could not be sweeter or more understanding. My dog acted out a few times (potty in the house/​garbage all over) and she was completely understanding and helpful and never made me feel bad. I would not hesitate to bring your pup to them. Caren texted me updates and the cutest pictures ever and was always on time. Jeanna, the owner, is flexible and responsive. I just can’t say enough good things about SNIFF. Now I know why they won the Best of the Northwest! They are the best!

I love SNIFF.
With my new job there’s a lot of late evenings and weird last minute schedule changes. The folks at SNIFF have come to my rescue several times on super short notice– they have my key on file and when I email they always respond really quickly. If you have a 4 legged baby you know what a relief it is to have backup you can really rely on when you need it. It gives me peace of mind to know SNIFF is there.
Added bonus: Kelsey always leaves a cute note which makes me smile when I get home!

I would be shocked if Sniff wasn’t the best dog walking service in Seattle by a mile. My Yorkie– terrier mix was new to dog walking services and growled and snapped at the first walker Sniff sent over. Did that deter them? No. They immediately set up a new walker for Grizzly that was sensitive to his nerves and incredibly patient. The first couple visits she simply sat inside with him on the floor until he felt comfortable. Within 3 sessions Grizzly was in love with our walker (Rachael). After every walk she leaves a detailed note about their walk and playtime that day — even commenting on his mood or whether he got a squirrel chase in in the back yard. At $ 20/​walk, we more than get our money’s worth.

We adopted our golden McGee about 2.5 years ago. He was a special needs dog with active seizure disorder and meds when we adopted him. We were very happy and relieved to find SNIFF SEATTLE to care for and walk McGee when we were not available. Whether we are out of the country for weeks or not home for the afternoon, we can always rely on SNIFF SEATTLE to be there to care for our dog and home. We have used them on many many occasions and have never had a bad experience. Jeanna, Greg and their team are very responsive, even with last minute situations. Our schedule changes constantly and they are always flexible, We have had airline problems over holidays and Jeanna and Greg personally went to our house at the last minute to potty and feed our dog. When we first adopted McGee he was not completely comfortable when we left him at home. He ripped open a few feather pillows on one occasion and much to my surprise, Jeanna’s team vacuumed up the 1000s of feathers and provided him with some extra attention. They have even sent us text photos of McGee when we are gone for long stretches and missing him. They are just wonderful people. Reliable and trustworthy… We feel fortunate to have found them.

I love Sniff! When we adopted Phinney back in May, I scrambled frantically to find a dog walker that I could trust who could come at least twice a day to take her potty. Luckily, Jeanna and Greg came to my rescue! Greg was able to come out to meet with me and Phinney the Saturday after her adoption and her twice daily «Puppy Relief» walks began Monday.
I’m convinced that Sniff’s regular, punctual schedule (they were always within 30 minutes of the time they promised) allowed Phinney to housebreak successfully. We have a huge box of wee pads that we never had to use.
I spy on Phinney during the day via webcam and I’ve found that the interactions between Phinney and Rose, her regular walker, have always been very positive. I love how they assign the same walker to walk your dog everyday. On the days that Rose is off, Jessica (the office manager) or Greg will fill in.
After each visit, the walker will leave a note regarding how the walk went and if the pup is showing any problems.
Phinney has successfully graduated out of the «Puppy Relief» program and into the «Daily Walk» program where she only gets one walk during the work day. She’s been handling it exceptionally well so far.
Sniff allows owners to go off to a full 10 – 11 hour workday and not feel as guilty about a puppy being left home alone with no human company. I think that if you can afford it, a regular dog walker will help you raise and maintain a happy, healthy, dog.

My dog is like my baby, which means I don’t trust many people with her. The people of Sniff Seattle have been an absolute pleasure to work with! I truly know that I am leaving my pup in good hands when I need to spend days away from my home. Stefanie is really great and always gives me a little update on the two walks she takes my puppy on. I think she knows how involved I am in my dog’s life and answers my text messages and/​or phonecalls promptly as well! I seriously feel so thankful to have found Sniff Seattle.

It’s taken me a while to write because I’m still choked up writing about my old boys, Argyll and Kapeiro, whom we lost recently within six months of each other. But it’s precisely because of their end-​of-​life experience that I need to commend Sniff. When 60– and 70-​lb dogs are 15– and 16-​years old, caregiving means heavy lifting when they’re weak and big messes when they have accidents. That requires patience, TLC, and skill … all of which Sniff caregivers have in abundance.
We started using Sniff in late summer 2012, when our boys could no longer last a full day without outings. At the first introduction with Jeanna, she credibly and thoughtfully shared stories about her experiences with other senior dogs. We knew that she wouldn’t be frustrated or annoyed with the level of care our guys needed. Considering that Argyll and Kapeiro wouldn’t need (and couldn’t do!) a full walk – just a yard potty break – Jeanna helped us customize the reasonable pricing for the service needed.
During the months of Sniff service, we looked forward to the daily notes from the Sniff caregiver. We could always count on them to help us assess how our pups were doing, from telling us if they exhibited more energy than normal to warning us they seemed cold in the garage and might need jackets. We really became attached to our primary caregiver, Barb, because her notes should tremendous affection for our old guys.
It’s too soon for us, emotionally, to consider getting a new dog, but Sniff has factored into our discussions of the future. We’re confident we could bring a puppy into our lives with Sniff helping visit during the days. If caregivers can lovingly care for two, medium-​weight, partially-​paralyzed seniors, then we trust them with any dog! THANK YOU, Jeanna, Barb, and all the others. Argyll’s and Kapeiro’s lives were better [and perhaps longer!] because of you.

We have used Sniff for daily dog walks since we moved to Seattle from the east coast in November. They have been wonderful — Jeanna is super-​flexible, very responsive via email, and easy to work with. On several occasions, she has even been able to squeeze us in for an extra walk at the last minute when I’ve gotten stuck at work or needed some extra help.
We have two sweet but somewhat challenging older dogs — one who is afraid of pretty much everything and another who is blind, diabetic and extremely stubborn. Our dog walker, Maxine, has been GREAT and really gone above and beyond the call of duty to make sure they are well-​cared for. She actually carries our 25-​lb blind dog up and down the steps to our house so he doesn’t risk falling!
We have used a lot of dog-​walking services over the years and I can honestly say that Sniff has been the best. We feel lucky to have found them.

We have used Sniff Seattle for over two years for their dog walking and dog sitting services. We have a stubborn 65 lb English Bull dog, named Numchucks. He is a jumper and needs to be encouraged to walk. We are so thankful for their patience with Numchucks! I have witnessed Numchucks being carried up the drive way to get him going on his walk. Sniff Seattle goes above and beyond their call of duty, from delayed flights to last minute weekend plans, Sniff Seattle has always been there to help with arrangements for care.
Jeanna and her team are trust worthy, dependable, and will take such great care of your pets. If you walk by our house you may catch Numchucks looking out our window waiting for his daily walk. They have become part of our extended family.

Sniff Seattle is great! I have a 3 year old yellow lab that is EXTREMELY hyper. I was afraid he would be too much for any dog walker to handle, but Jeanna told me she had the perfect person in mind for him.
We started the service at the end of December and I have been nothing but pleased. It’s great because my dog gets daily exercise even in the crappiest weather conditions. There has never been a cancellation on their part, and I’m able to add or cancel walks with no problems. I love the notes Shannon leaves for me everyday explaining how the walk went.
I have a very mischievious dog (as most labs are), so on a couple of occasions my dog has got into things he shouldn’t have and had diarrhea in the house. On all occasions Shannon cleaned up the mess. That is WAY above and beyond her responsibility. I mean seriously — who wants to clean up diarrhea when it’s not even your own dog’s?! She’s the BEST!
I am so thankful for everything Shannon does and I trust her with my dog while I’m away at work every day. I would definitely recommend Sniff Seattle to anyone looking for a reliable dog walker.

Pros: Professional, caring, reasonable fees, neighbors tell me that Greg is great with our dogs.
Cons: Almost lost Greg but after a simple email explaining we prefer him to be our walker, all was righted again.
I have been with Sniff since we moved into our new house 5 months ago. One of my three shelties developed separation anxiety during the move and Greg, our walker, has been just wonderful making sure that he follows our instructions when entering and leaving the house so it doesn’t set off any of the anxiety triggers. I get a report each day after the walk about how everyone behaved.
Before hiring Sniff, I interviewed two other companies and felt that Jeanna and Greg were the most suitable and professional for our 3 dogs.
It is too bad that their good name is tarnished by another reviewer who is obviously having an episode of Eastside entitlementment. On the contrary, I never have had an issue with getting in touch with Jeanna or Greg. And god forbid someone didn’t respond to an email or a call in less than 6 hours. Have some common sense people! No one lives to be at your beck and call, not even if you live on the eastside of Lake Washington. (I live in Bellevue and love it, but once in awhile we need a good slap).

Sniff Seattle must be a great business because it seems they are too busy to return my call or email.
I emailed them Sunday around noon and didn’t hear back til Monday. A mention of «out of town yesterday»
Realizing I need a meet and greet before scheduling a dog walk, I emailed with my number and left a voice mail Tuesday morning in order to set this up. I got no response by Wednesday morning.
So no dog walk today (Wednesday) even though my Sunday email mentioned Monday/​Wednesday dog walk needed.
I expected to be persued a bit since I was obviously in need.
I even mentioned in my email that I had a csection recently and was unable to hold the leash of my own dog. This issue wasn’t going to change like a schedule making me suddenly able to walk my own dog.
So off I go to find another company to help me out. Too bad – I really thought the website was well put together and felt confident this company could assist me.

Sniff: Your response is appreciated – but I still haven’t received a call back or an email back. 24hrs is plenty of time for a response. Now we are going on 48hrs. I emailed 3 other companies yesterday and heard back from them all within 6 hours. Even a simple email stating that you are booked out for a week would have sufficed.
Again-​I am not rating your dog walking service with this review, but the pre-​sales customer service.

I’m extraordinarily grateful to Greg for going the extra mile (literally) in searching for and finding my dog during his dog walk time. He arrived at my home to find that my dog had gotten out of the backyard, and he spent time and sweat tracking him down and eventually finding him!

I have been using Sniff Seattle to walk and visit my dog for over a year now. These are the most friendly, flexible, reliable and affordable people you could ever ask to walk, visit, feed, bathe, anything your dog. Seriously. I’m not even joking. You know why? They LOVE dogs. It’s ridiculously obvious. They even love my 90-​lb, energetic spazz of a dog who poos about three time as much as a regular dog. You can’t just fake that. I have never had a cancellation, the communication is excellent, and I always come home to one happy dog. Happy dog = happy me. Win!
