History

Established in 2009.

I began my venture as Solea Massage in August of 2009, after spending many years perfecting my craft working for other people. I create an experience for my clients that is casual, professional, personal, comfortable, and intimate. I offer something more than just a great massage– I provide a place where you can come and be connected and cared for– the kind of service that enriches your life, not just gives relief. I’m the real deal, and I still love what I do (and so will you!).

Business Owner

I graduated from Seattle Massage School in August of 1997 and I’ve been licensed in Washington State since January of 1998. Over the years, I’ve done a lot of continuing education, including Abhayanga, Aromalomi, Hot Stone massage, Aromatherapy, Reiki (I), and The Melchizidek Method (I & II).

I’ve lived in Seattle since July of 2003 and I’ve worked at a few of Seattle’s finest spas. I am currently employed by the Elaia Spa at Hyatt Olive 8 (on weekends).

People are often interested in how I came to be a massage therapist. My earliest memory of giving massage is rubbing my grandmothers feet and putting her to sleep when I was 4 years old. At 15, I learned that a person could actually get paid to do that, and so I went into massage school after I graduated from high school. 12 years later, I still find it to be an amazing career– I’m still in awe of the human body, honored by people’s trust, and inspired by what’s possible.
