Stadium Cleaners

I used this for my work shirts for a month before their machine ripped the entire side seam of one of my shirts.
I asked if they would repair it or offer some sort of compensation. The lady at the counter said she would give my information to the owner so he could call me back and work through a solution. After a combo of calling/​coming in 3 times over the next 2 weeks and never talking to the owner I gave up.
Buttons were also cracked and broken 2 or 3 times over the period I used stadium cleaners. Considering all that and the fact it’s just as expensive, if not a little more so, than others in the area I decided to find a new place.

Ruined my dress. No apology, no nothing. I even had to pay for it. They said that it had been washed according to instructions and were not responsible for the damage, however, the dress had been dry cleaned before with no problems. Somehow, they washed it and it went from white and black to grey and black. Ridiculous. It also had four large snags/​pulls. I guess that was the fault of the instructions as well? What a joke. Should of looked on Unilocal before taking my clothes here.

Do not use this cleaner! They ruined an expensive shirt, then charged us for the order minus the shirt. The least they could do is comp the service order. Their prices are also ridiculously expensive.

I’m a fan. I take most of my dry cleaning here and I’ve never had a problem. Even had my wife’s wedding dress done here, no issues. I prefer places like that do cleaning in-​house, and it’s perfectly located on my commute. Recommended.

My mother’s wedding dress had never been cleaned, boxed, taken care of. There was yellowing along the bottom lace and fabric as well as some of the typical black dirt that accumulates along the hem from being worn by both my aunt and mother. Stadium Cleaners cleaned and boxed it up. It looks new!
A wine spill stained a big amount of a white cocktail dress I own and Stadium Cleaners fixed it right up.
Any normal dry cleaning I take here, shirts and pants, come back nicely pressed.

My family and I have been patronizing Stadium Cleaners for many years. Suddenly and without warning the price of a simple alteration is 80% higher: a hundred dollars (!) for shortening two trouser legs and two jacket sleeves. Um… what? I asked the clerk about it; she smiled and said «Yes, the price has gone up». Nice of you to warn me beforehand, thanks. She suggests I talk to the owner, Bill, who isn’t there at the moment but she offers to give him my phone number and ask him to call. Yes, please. No call over the next five days. I call him on day six, politely ask how come the price for such a simple alteration has suddenly gone so high. He says «Yes, the price has gone up.» I tell him I realize that and am curious how come it’s suddenly gone so high up. He says «I don’t know.» I ask him if he isn’t the owner; he says «Yes», so I ask him if he could please check into it. He says «OK, I’ll call you back tomorrow morning about this time.»
No callback from him ever came. He’s mysteriously never there when I call, and didn’t return any of my phone calls. This doesn’t even rise to the level of bad customer service; this is is unacceptable customer scorn. No more for me, thanks, I’m driving — elsewhere.

Because they are «wedding specialists» I decided to get two wedding dresses pressed here and pay about $ 40 more than another place I’d found. An older woman was a little rude to me when I went in to get a quote but whatever, I figured they were the wedding specialists, what’s a little rudeness?
I had two dresses: my mother and grandmother’s dress, which had been altered for me, and a silk dancing dress my friend had designed and made.
Thankfully, the bigger, fancier dress of the two was treated perfectly and was pressed beautifully. The second, shorter dress also looked perfect. But when I tried it on, it was a lot shorter than I had remembered it being. During dinner, my designer (also a bridesmaid) examined me and almost started crying. Turns out the pressing process had shrunk the skirt by about 4 inches, affecting the look and flow of the back side of the skirt. Thankfully, the dress had been on the longer side before so it wasn’t too much of a problem. Plus, I was so happy that I was easily able to brush it off. But being the «wedding experts,» they really should have known better than to shrink a dress.

I’m not sure how they are as a cleaners, but I will never take anything there for alterations ever again. They charged me $ 18 to put a simple hem into a little knit top, which I had already pinned. I checked with other places, including Nordstrom, and this place charged $ 4 to $ 8 more! They also did not have my top ready on the date agreed. They said it would take a week, but that didn’t happen. When I called on the date agreed and was told it wasn’t ready yet, I asked for an estimate of how much it might cost. I was told that it might be about $ 12. I was extremely surprised and terribly angry that the fee was much higher. I’ve learned a lesson — I will not just drop something off and assume it will be a reasonably competitive price to do an alteration, but I will now call around to get the best price or, at least, avoid being taken.

Once upon a time Niner was just a young ball of rolls with floppy ears. On this day we took a trip to Bainbridge, but not before we stopped on the Ave to pick up some delicious pastries at the Farmer’s Market.
Niner flapped his ears and dingleberries up and down the beach as the Sounds’ salty breeze penetrated his fur and tickled his pup nuts.
After a long day of relishing in the sand and basking in the sun it was time to go home. We loaded on the ferry and a very sleepy Niner slept in the backseat while we enjoyed the scenery from the top deck.
Some silly bald guy forgot his pastry in the truck and a very mischievous puppy woke up to a box full of delightful treats.
That cute little ball of wrinkles ate all the sugary goodness and had puppy diarrhea for days! That shit is on some other level. He wiped his snout on a white North Face jacket and then decided to take a shit all over it. Effen mutt!
We took here before my sister found out we stole her jacket and for 21 bucks my dumb sister (who buys a white jacket?), never noticed it was borrowed.
Anyone who can clean out a dirty bomb of puppy shit and raspberry jelly out of a white coat IS the bomb!

My wife and I were coming from out of town for our wedding, so we needed to get her dress pressed in Seattle before the big day. She called this place and they quoted her a reasonable price, considering we needed a 24-​hour turnaround. I went to pick it up and they said I owed forty bucks more than the quoted price! I asked about the ridiculous price for simply pressing (no cleaning) and they said that’s what they charge. Also, there was a black smudge on the front of the dress that wasn’t there before we dropped it off. I had no choice but to pay the extortion. I recommend taking your business elsewhere.
