I enjoy Starbucks due to the consistency, however the Roosevelt Starbucks gets my drink right about 4 out of 10 times. And the bummer is its my neighborhood Starbucks. I find myself driving to other locations rather than walking the block just to ensure my drink is right. The baristas used to be so friendly, however I now feel like the boy who cried wolf because I’ve asked them to remake it so often. And my drink is pretty basic and I’m not that picky. Just asking for the same experience and product you get in other Starbucks.

+Plentiful and free parking both via two large(for Seattle!) parking lots, a parking garage, and on-street parking. +Ample seating and a large space given its location. +Great location with Whole Foods in the lower level. –Staff is awful at monitoring mobile orders. I always have to ask for my drink only to find they didn’t notice the mobile ticket come through. –Staff friendliness is hit or miss. Yesterday the barista took the order for the kids standing behind me in line before taking mine which really angered me. See first negative bullet for the reason as to why I was in line! –Gets extremely crowded during lunch and after school as there is a large school nearby. –All tables except for the four-top are about two inches shorter than normal table height. This is problematic for working on a laptop, so I’m forced to take up a residency at the four-top and I get dirty looks for doing so. –Need a code for the bathroom which reminds me of my days spent living abroad but is simply annoying in the US of A.

I’m not usually one to write bad Unilocal reviews, but after missing many a bus and repeatedly having waited in the line here for 15 – 20 minutes, just to have to duck out of it when I’m almost up(in order to NOT miss my bus), I’m gonna write this hoping management reads it and makes some improvements. This Starbucks is ridiculously slow. If you’re 5th or 6th in line, expect it to take at least 15 minutes. And everyone’s ordering drip coffee! It should take 30 seconds to pour a cup, scan the phone/swipe the card, and on to the next. Instead, today my bus was six minutes away when I was(finally) next in line; when it said two minutes away and I still wasn’t up, I had to leave without coffee.(I saw two other people get frustrated and ditch the line while I was waiting, too: dear neighborhood Starbucks, you are losing a LOT of customers over this.) So, yes, this un-caffeinated non-morning person is grumpy. … I’ve also noticed that the dark roast is never brewed anywhere near as strong as the downtown Starbucks’s I frequent, but that’s a subject for another day. Everyone’s friendly, though — no complaints about that.

There are so many Starbucks you can’t go into a fu detail of all of them(because you would be writing the same review over and over). So what I like to do is review what makes each Starbucks unique. This starbucks is located in Roosevelt square over Whole Foods. Considering Whole Foods now has a coffee shop inside if you to this Starbucks it’s probably because you had to go to Bartells next door, or because you feel like sitting and grazing for a while. So as far as the inside goes I really like this place for studying, getting work done or sitting around reading a book. They have big tables that are great for your laptop, they have some tables that are pushed together for those of us who need the laptop and the notebook. For the fitness people who think that sitting down while you work is a sin have no fear, they have tables against the wall that are really high and great for working on a laptop while standing up. And if sitting in a comfortable chair while you read a book or talk to your friend is your thing, have no fear they have about six huge, comfortable leather chairs. Some other positives of this store include the fact that they do have plenty of free parking, and there is a lot if natural light inside. The only time it seems to get ridiculously busy is when the kids from the nearby high school invade the place during their lunch break. It of course also is Starbucks so you aren’t necessarily going to get the quality of coffee that you would get in some of the non chain local shops.

Starbucks is something I see WAY too much in Seattle and have not been overly impressed. However, I enjoy this location very much! The staff is friendly and helpful, the outside seating is confortable, and their pastry loaves are almost double the size compared to other locations. If you’re going to go to a Starbucks for more than a quick order and run, I’d highly recommend this one.

Solid Starbucks. It’s located above Whole Foods and as an upper parking level which makes it fairly easy to get to. The coffee is consistent and tastes as expected. I do enjoy the outdoor seating here on sunny days. It can get busy at times, but the baristas move the line along efficiently.

I’m really surprised to see so many great reviews about this location. I’ve been fling here for two years and this year has been horrible! They have new baristas and nothing I order ever tastes the way it should. In the past three months I’ve had to send back more coffees than they’re worth. Never any tables, and staff isn’t the nicest.

So, first time I go this location… the staff is super nice… I order my new usual tall soy Hazelnut macchiato. I drive home and realize my drink is awfully light compared to other times. I open the top and see that the drink is only half full and the rest is foam, so bummed. I call the café and speak with Jon and let him know what happened and he apologizes and says if I can come in tonight, they’ll remake my drink. I make my way over and Jon remembers our phone conversation. The other gentleman who starts to make my drink is told by Jon not to leave too much foam on the top and my drink ends up being perfect. I will stop by this location again because they are really great, especially Jon :-)

Coffee and snacks after a run to Green Lake. Great location for a family conversation with real coffee mugs.

This is a great alternative to the not-too-far-away-but-usually-ridiculously-packed Green Lake Starbucks. There’s free parking(always a plus!), a nice little outdoor seating area, and a sufficient amount of space inside, too, for some solo study time or a chat with a friend.

Things have turned around here for some reason — there seem to be less GROSS people & it’s cleaner.

This is by far my favorite Starbucks to frequent. I don’t work out of an office so I spend a lot of time here. The baristas are always very friendly. As other reviewers have mentioned, this place gets extremely busy which is definitely unfortunate, but I think that’s a testament to their excellent service and convenient location.

I really like this Starbucks. My favorite in the Seattle area. Very friendly staff and the manager seems likewise. The setting is really nice and quite and very roomy. Makes for a very nice place to relax or do work for couple hours.

One of the friendlier SBUX I’ve visited and it seems to be a neighbourhood favourite. The tables are always full of people on their laptops enjoying all that free Wi-Fi. It seems like a point of contention though for people who’d like to sit and enjoy their coffee… especially when those on their computers are NOT customers. I’d at least buy a cup of coffee if I’m going to use the free internet or else why not just go to the library, you know?

Had to repeat my order several times and correct the girl every time. I also had to explain in detail why my gift card I was trying to purchase had no money on it… I did not feel like I was at Starbucks.

Am glad to see a few comments about the fact that there are never tables here because of the laptop people who seem to live at this store, many of them do not even seem to have a drink or snack that they purchased there and they will often take two tables and about half a dozen chairs to create a fort for themselves to do whatever it us they do on their computers for 10 hours a day. I mean I have seen the one woman who lives in the store leave her computer and drink set up and head off to whole foods, return 10 minutes later and eat her lunch. Not to mention the one who sits barefoot with feet on the low tables or the ones who barricade off the arm chair area and take a nap. Personally this really puts me off ever wanting to go in here, even though it is in many ways a great coffee shop with wonderful staff. I think that people have taken the whole ’ third place’ concept and turned it into treating what is a public space as their personal living room/bedroom. Have some frikkin manners and behave as though you are a guest in a shared space, which is what you are.

This is my ‘Cheers’ Starbucks. All the baristas are friendly but the veteran baristas are my fave as they recognize me and always get my order just right! And when I haven’t been in a while they always ask how I’ve been :) Very conveniently located in the Roosevelt Square with Whole Foods, Bartell Drugs, dry cleaners, Subway, and a UPS. Bonus — plentiful parking.

This is right up there with my favorite Starbucks ever. Mostly because it happens to be very close to home… but the staff is also super friendly, there are loads of great big windows and plenty of tables, and parking is never a problem in the upper lot. Now that Starbucks has free wifi, this is becoming one of my main study haunts. It also has plenty of outlets, unlike the Greenlake Starbucks that only has a couple in the whole place. Took off a star for the fact that when it is cold outside, this place is FREEZING.

Good seating, pretty good music, consistent soy drinks made not too hot. Nice — but not fake nice employees. Sometimes 1 – 2 people talking to themselves but not causing any problems. Seems quieter than other locations. Rooftop parking is accessed from Roosevelt, just before 65th. The parking is never full.
