I just picked up my 2012 Ford Focus from Stetner’s and I’m so happy with the results! I was hit in a parking lot and my insurance company directed me to Stetner’s. They were quick, super friendly, and even detailed my car! Really cannot speak more highly of the people and the work product. Many thanks!

Fantastic from drive-​in quote, drop off, keeping me in the loop as repairs were completed, to pick up. Also, I had a piece of roof trim in the back seat not related to the accident– they reinstalled it without saying a word.

Addendum: I feel abused after dealing with Jason — the owners (I am guessing) came running out…
Pretty bummed out — got car back, again, and… OVERSPRAY. Not happy with all of this. I called and Jason abruptly said, «Bring it in.» So, I brought it in, and Jason (who looked like he got hit by a train the night before) came out to look at it and as soon as we got outside he because visibly agitated and told me the only reason he was working with me at all was because I attacked him online. ( Unilocal.), but my car was 10 yrs old — ?!Jason claimed he never said he mentioned another customer. (See below), and he started showing me other parts of my car that weren’t perfect. ?!! Jason angrily took my keys, but I stopped him from driving off in my car in his condition, and started to just leave. That’s when the owners came out. I Have to say, the ONLY reason I am adding another star is these people who KNOW how to deal with customers. They offered to buff out the overspray — they agreed it happens — and even offered for another rental car for me, which I declined. (Unnecessary.)

UPDATE:
Well, the fuel door works now. I got the car, and they called me immediately (apologizing profusely) to tell me that there was a piece of trim that needed to go back on the inside in the cargo area. To their credit, they offered to bring a tech to ME. I am glad I insisted on bringing the car in, because there needed to be more «fixing» here, with tools needed. My issue is that they (Jason) immediately states that, «It came in that way.» NOT GOOD, Jason. You seem to have a knee-​jerk reaction to state that the car came in all busted up. The panel actually worked when I brought it in. They did eventually fix it — it must have been the look on my face when Jason tried to tell me it came in that way. As if he KNEW it came in broken — REALLY? No, it did not, and I am really glad they fixed it. I think he finally «got it,» and went to get me a couple Charbuck’s coffee cards (worth $ 10). OK, So that was nice. But overall…
I felt somewhat abused after dealing with these guys. Trust level with them: about as much as a used car dealership. Two stars for eventually fixing the stuff you broke, albeit under apparent direst.

I believe I spoke to «Jason» this morning, according to my insurance company. Basically, the reason I feel this is moving forward, and the reason that Stetner’s just called me and stated they would take care of the latch, is that they happen to be a «certified» repair shop through my insurance. So, after speaking with my insurance and explaining the situation, my insurance company went out of the way to call Stetner’s, and suddenly Stetner’s is willing to comply.

It started out really well — really easy. I got a quick estimate, where I explained it was only a superficial dent below my fuel door; everything worked, but I since the woman who hit me was really apologetic and insisted on paying the shop directly… It all went pretty well. They seemed really helpful and professional at Stenter’s, and everything went as planned, on on time, and the car was «completed» on Friday as was hoped.
That was until the next day, when I realized my fuel door no longer engaged. So I left a message on their voice mail.
I know they open at 7, but I wanted until 9:00 to go in and follow up. They didn’t seem to know what I was there for, but ok. So I explained that the fuel door no longer worked. That is when it got ugly…
The guy that came out to look at it (Jason), immediately became really smarmy and said he «didn’t know it wasn’t working before» the car was brought in. I said, «Wow — because I went over this with the guy who did the estimate.» During the estimate, I happily showed him how every thing worked. I reiterated several times that it was ONLY cosmetic, and SHOWED, twice, how the door was locked. The guy from the office (Jason), brought out a «tech,» who said that he had to move the «bar» manually to get the door to open (which is not true, because the unlock part never stopped working), and now it was the «relay» that didn’t work, and it was nothing they did.
On top of that, Jason started telling me about some customer who brought their car in for a repair and then suddenly accused them of other unrelated damages. I had to stop Jason, and tell him how unprofessional and unacceptable this sort of customer service it. Actually accusing me of trying to falsely accuse them of something they did. Of course they could have damaged the relay — they messed with it to do the cosmetic repairs; it’s simple cause-​and-​effect. It should NOT be considered «coincidental,» as Jason claimed, since it was operating just fine before the car was in their care, and they did (as the tech showed us) have to go in there and mess with things.

Recently had my black 2004 Toyota Corolla repaired there and Stetner Auto Body went above and beyond. I’d first like to thank Kurt for helping me with the process of getting my car scheduled for drop-​off, working with the insurance company and rental company to get me scheduled and squared away. When I got to drop it off, it was straight-​forward and I was out and getting my rental within minutes. When I came back to pick up my vehicle, it was a very simple and clear process! Amazing customer service! Kurt also kept in touch very well and gave me calls to give me updates on the repairs. In regards to the quality of the repair, outstanding! I had referred to Unilocal for reviews on Stetner Auto Body and the high ratings are true! I was very happy with the process! I will definitely be referring you guys to anyone I know that needs repairs! Thanks again for the great experience!

Stetner recently repaired a couple of things on my car. They are not only thorough with their work– they are nice guys as well. They go the extra mile to ensure the work is done right. I appreciate all the guys here.

Allstate gave me a list of auto shops that could fix my car which had two smashed doors and a fender (Toyota 2012) I searched Unilocal to find a shop that had zero red flags in the reviews. My experience here was absolutely amazing. I worked with Jason who handled my car with incredible customer service. Any of my concerns were immediately handled so I literally had zero worries.
Aside from the customer service, the actual workmanship blew me away. My car looks as though nothing ever happened. They even washed my car! The whole process of actually receiving my car was one in its own. I appreciate the guys who run this place and hope that people in Seattle know that this is a place to trust and a place to take their car.

These guys are awesome! Needed some work after a rear end collision. Jason helped me out by working with my insurance company and communicating with me all along the way. What’s even better is they guarantee their work! If you need any body work done, this is definitely the place!

Worked with Jason and he was very nice and helped everything move along with the processing of the insurance information. Stetner Autobody worked with the Toyota dealership to get me OEM parts and did a wonderful job replacing a bent hood and damaged bumper. I had to catch a flight the day my car was scheduled to be done and they were nice enough to get my car ready early and even gave it a nice detailing! I would definitely do business with them again!

Went here to have my car’s damage estimate done after somebody changed lanes into me. Signed up for the appointment via USAA’s (my car insurance) website. Thought I was going to just be dropping off the car and picking it up after the appointment so I showed up hours early. Even though I was so early they got someone on it right away and I didn’t have to leave the car. The estimate was done really quickly by a super nice guy (Drew I think), and they even did some quick free body work so the driver’s door would open again (I had to crawl through the passenger’s seat after the accident).
Drew thought the car would likely be totaled (as it eventually was) since the estimate was getting close to the car’s value. He explained the pros and cons of keeping the car if USAA let me (which they did) and even cheerfully took my call later when I had additional questions. All of this despite the fact that I never paid them a dime (though I assume USAA pays for the estimate). If I had needed any work done I definitely would have them do it. Everyone here seemed really nice and honest. I wish I could find a regular car repair place this great.

I have used them 3 times. This last time someone hit me and their insurance company has other shops they use, I demanded Stetner! They are the only place i want to go to. Attentive, quick service, quick drop in quotes, they called me each day with updates and were very professional.
I highly recomend them!

I have never had such great communication from an auto repair shop.. They kept me up to date on what was going on and even gave me some tips, in case my vehicle was totaled. The finished work exceeded expectation.

While parking in the garage at work, I accidentally swiped the concrete pole. Yikes!!! After about a week, the swiped area began to rust in the heavy Seattle rains. I showed the damage to a friend who knew a great repairman. He estimated that they guy would give us a good deal if we paid cash and that it would be no more than $ 1600. Unfortunately, I could never actually get that guy on the phone so with time being an issue (rusting), I started getting estimates from auto body businesses with good ratings. The estimate from Stetner was exactly $ 1600 and it was thorough. They gave me a nice printed estimate with all the details for no charge. Other facilities estimates were not as neat and I always feel weary of vague estimates because it leaves room for «unexpected» things to pop up during the repairs. We ended up going with Stetner and the repair is seamless. You cannot tell that I ever swiped a pole. Its perfect! They were so professional and prompt. I was told I’d get a call midweek about the status and sure enough, Wednesday morning, I received a status call. The car was ready on time as promised and the price was exactly the same as the estimate. If I ever need auto body repair, I would go here. Hopefully I’ll never need auto body repairs again. =D

I was rear-​ended and went in, had an estimate done, had the work done. The other person’s insurance paid for it. Everything went well. They even vacuumed my very dirty car (I have two young children and lots of snacks stuck to the back seats). Anyway, I was pleased. Then a while later I pulled into a parking space and got my fender hooked on the concrete strip at the top of space. When I backed up it pulled off my fender. Gah! It was dragging and I stopped in to Stetner and asked for some help. They bolted it back on right then and there. The whole thing took 10 minutes and they didn’t even charge me. It was really so nice of them. I was so grateful. Very happy with their service.

I just got back from Stetner Auto Body and I am VERY impressed. They gave me an estimate of $ 120.00 to repair my 2002 Saturn bumper and when I went to get the final cost it was only $ 55.00 and the car looks as good as new.

My car was in need of some repair. I took it to Stetner auto body and they were super nice and helpful.

Got into a fenderbender of sorts (that I caused) and my insurance company made a few recommendations for local body shops where I could go to get the repairs done. Since I work just up the road from here anyways, I figured Stetner’s would be just fine.
I was treated very respectfully and everything was explained to me before they did it. They called me and updated me when there was any change to the original proposed work, and let me know when the car was done and ready to pick up (approximately four days).
Picked up the car and it looked just like new. Luckily the insurance company was taking care of the costs (which seemed high, but I’m no mechanic), but I can definitely vouch for the quality of the work. First class — and the people working there were friendly and helpful.
