Suberman Coaching is a constantly evolving program that takes into account research-​based approached and experience. Sophie walks the talk of living from joy, daring greatly, and impacting her world. She chose coaching as her profession to remind others of their inherent personal power, and to support them in wielding it in ways that impact the world for everyone’s benefit. She participates in regular professional development to continue her own development, as well as the development of her practice to supporting her clients with new techniques and awarenesses. She is a volunteer in her local community, organizing professional development opportunities for the social impact organizations at The Hillman City Collaboratory. She lives in Seattle with her partner, flowering and fruiting plants and three ridiculous pets, all of whom support her in being her best.

Sophie Suberman can help you create the life you want… if you choose to let her. That’s the thing about coaching. It’s all about choice!
I’ll admit I have a tendency to feel like a victim of the universe when things aren’t going my way.
But Sophie helped me find ways of getting unstuck by showing me I have the power to choose. I can’t always choose what will happen to me, but I can choose what I think, how I react, and how I can act in a way that aligns with what I ultimately want — regardless of the situation.
It’s not easy work, but Sophie is a kind, caring, and supportive guide. She helped me figure out what I wanted from coaching in our first few sessions, and when I discovered certain aspects of the typical «curriculum» weren’t doing it for me, Sophie and I worked together to find a different way of meeting my goals. I can say with certainty that my sessions with Sophie have motivated me toward greater self-​love, and helped me quell the fear of choosing what I want for myself and my life.

I didn’t get what life coaching was, or the kind of openness and understanding that would surface from its practice, before I began talking with Sophie. I went into our sessions knowing the direction in which I wanted to go, and from our first call she’s supported me in empowered decision making as well as lighthearted acceptance when I simply didn’t want or need to make a decision.
Her guidance has helped solidify the idea that I’ve had all of the tools I’ve needed all along; she’s just been instrumental in sharpening them – a conduit for «can do it.» I love her light.

When I was first approached by Sophie about coaching sessions, I was extremely skeptical about the entire field of Life Coaching. And when she first gave me exercises to do, or challenged my way of thinking, I was extremely resistant. But something happened as I slowly gave in and began playing along: I felt better.
And not only did I feel better, I felt stronger. Empowered. More capable. I felt like the way things were was no longer the way they had to be. Since then I’ve made some enormous changes in my life. And it’s because Sophie helped me. She helped me to be a better me.
