Susan is awesome! She has an excellent eye for color and design. We just purchased a new home and she helped us pick a palette that is both classic (to dress up a 1920 Craftsman) and exciting. We have a number of period architectural features that she really helped us to highlight. We really appreciated Susan’s approach and follow up. She got us some custom colors, had our paint mixed and delivered and labeled all the walls to avoid any mistakes by our painting crew. We love the results and our house is transformed. We just very recently had our house painted by Susan and her crew and I could not be happier with the results. We obtained quotes from 3 different painters and while the Sash quote was on the higher end, we decided to go with her because her initial visit for an estimate was so very thorough and she even made 2 trips to ensure that she was quoting us correctly. The other painters were in and out and sent us very vague quotes that didn’t come close to including all of the work that we needed done, and we needed a lot. She also took time to sit with us on our initial consultation to look at different color options, which she was not paid to do but you could tell she cared about her work and potential customers.
Susan also dropped us off paint samples, color chips and was such a huge help in helping us pick out colors which I cannot tell you how helpful this was. We have a house with red brick and she has an awesome eye for design. Her crew was also amazing and so great with our dog, which was a big concern of ours as they needed to take our doors off to paint but they took extra care to ensure that he stayed in the yard. I realize that they are not dogsitters so this was appreciated!
To sum it up, our house looks amazing and if we have to ever go through this process we will definitely use Susan again and recommend that you do as well!

Amazing talent! Not only do you get someone who does and shows up when she says she will, but the best thing of allshe can TOTALLY help you get the color you are looking for — helped me so much in getting the right red. It would have been just a bit wrong with the red I was thinking of using. What a GEM!

Susan Basher is terrific. She is professional, friendly and thorough. Her price was well below the other two estimates but her services were more complete. She provided a color consult that was invaluable. I had chosen a color that I wasn’t crazy about but was planning to use anyway. The other two painters didn’t say anything one way or the other. Susan had the courage to say «Well, it’s not great, especially if you’re not in love with it. Let me show you some swatches.» Together, we came up with a great solution and I’m very happy with the result. I would highly recommend Susan. I also felt very comfortable with her in my home, she made every effort to get to know my kids so they felt comfortable, she was respectful of our schedule and needs. Overall a very positive experience. No surprises on timing or cost. She started when she said she would, finished when she said, and the cost was what the estimate said it would be. You can’t go wrong.
