It was really hard for me to decide how many stars to give. Overall, I would say I am very happy with the product, and I would say the mark up was reasonable considering I was able to be part of the design process. Not to mention the personal time I had with Tyler, who was a great guy to work with. My now wife still thinks she has the best ring in the world, which is why I am giving 4 instead of 3 stars.
My main problem, was that it took quite a bit longer than I was told to make and design the ring. The date kept slipping back, and the process took more than two months after I had been assured I could get the ring in time for when I wanted to propose (about 6 weeks). In the end, I used a temporary solitaire setting to propose, and later added the diamond to its rightful band. This wasn’t so bad as it gave us another special occasion to celebrate.
So in summary, I liked working with Tyler, he was very professional and friendly. He also produces a high quality one of a kind product. But he can be super frustrating to work with if you are on a timeline.
I also wanted to mention that I did my homework, and there are plenty of places to get more diamond for your money. Considering the added value of designing an original ring, and the high quality product, it seems worth the money to me.

Going to Tyler with minimal knowledge of what to look for and expect, Tyler took us through the entire process and informational stage. He worked to help me design exactly what my fiancée wanted while still keeping my limits in mind. Tyler dialed up the PERFECT ring that we are both crazy about.
I recommend Tyler ¹⁰⁄₁₀ times. Look at his work and you’ll see why. Go talk to him and you’ll realize why!

I recently bought my engagement ring for my fiancée from Tyler and I honestly could not be more pleased with the result. First of all, Tyler doesn’t pressure you into anything you don’t want to do or cannot afford. One of the initial things he told me was that first and foremost he is a designer. «I’m not a salesman,» he said. It was 100% true.
When I went into his office for the first time, I had already priced out some rings online and did some initial research on how to pick out a good diamond. But Tyler really deepened my knowledge of diamonds and then only showed me diamonds that were within my budget. He didn’t try to up-​sell me like so many retailers do. When I decided on a diamond, we got to talking about what the ring would look like. He gave me suggestions and he told me that they were merely suggestions and wouldn’t be pushed upon me if I didn’t like the ideas.
I really enjoyed my experience working with Tyler. That’s really what it is too, it’s an experience (and an education, too). Buying an engagement ring shouldn’t be any more stressful than it already can be. Tyler kept it completely stress-​free.
My fiancée and I fully plan on getting our wedding bands from Tyler too.

Engagement ring time!
So I started at Tiffany, then on to Turgeon-​Raine, then Fox’s, then like all inquisitive consumers I learned that the best move is to focus on the raw diamond, and deal with the band later. Through this process I learned the C’s and decided what I wanted.
I met Tyler and he is the best option for several reasons, the most important being that he really gives a SH&T. I could use the word ‘cares’ but that’s different, and doesn’t make the point.
Professional. Tyler is professional, super nice, and well-​dressed. His suite is well appointed, has a water view, and is classy. This matters. You can take your lovely here and feel great, whether or not you’ve spent a ton of money. This is why people go to Tiffany.
Hand-​picked diamonds. Any diamond dealer can get your specs and show you diamonds. Tyler inspects each and provides you with the very best selections in your price range.
Transparent pricing. Tyler pulled out the Rapaport price list and showed me exactly what I should expect to pay for a diamond in my range. This was a great move and built trust.
Guarantee. He’ll clean your ring for life. My fiancé crashed and tore up the band while running. Tyler’s taking care of it. No big deal.
Quality. I wanted my fiancé to pick the band, so I asked Tyler to set the stone in a temporary band and we would deal with that later. He picked a beautiful initial setting and it was set perfectly. So perfect that she’s keeping the band.
I can’t say enough here. Hopefully you end up here after a long and tedious ring hunt!

My fiancé and I initially met with Tyler for the first time in December 2012 to design my engagement ring. We were both nervous, but Tyler was wonderful. He worked with us throughout the entire process to design the perfect ring within our budget (inspired by a photo I brought with us). We went back to Tyler in January 2013 to begin the process of designing my matching wedding band.
Every time we meet with Tyler, he is just so friendly and professional. If you are looking for the perfect ring and a positive experience — Tyler is your guy.

As others have said, Tyler is the real deal. I needed to have my and my wife’s titanium wedding bands cleaned. This is small potatoes for a jeweler, but Tyler was never anything less than friendly and professional, and he made me feel as important as someone looking to drop 6 months salary on a ring. He kept me in the loop during the process, finished the job in 24 hours, and they look as good as new. Thanks Tyler!

I don’t even know where to start when it comes to dealing with Tyler. After a hunt on Google and Unilocal I came across plenty of people and created my list. Started contacting the list and noticing that all of them were falling very short of my expectations.
With that being said I should probably explain a little bit why. When I was ready to buy one of the most important items I would ever purchase I completely submersed myself into the topic of diamonds and ring creation. So I was most definitely not a spur of the moment purchaser. I had done 100+ hours of research. So needless to say, when I spoke/​visited some of the people that I was looking into they were very surprised of my existing knowledge. One could easily tell that they were not super thrilled that I had the knowledge because now, tactics, buzzwords, games, etc would not work on me.
So back to Tyler — I called him middle of the week around mid day (2 or 2:30 I believe). He immediately made me feel comfortable and as if I had time to explain in depth what I was looking for. He didn’t rush me for one second and spent quite a bit of time listening and figuring out what it was I was looking for. He gave me 35 minutes of his undivided attention and I hung up knowing that he was the real deal. We setup a meeting for the following week. In the meantime we traded emails back and forth as he started the hunt for the diamond right away. I also sent him designs and sketches of what it was I was thinking. When we met up he had some diamonds ready to look at and I didn’t feel rushed for one second. He also continued educating me on certain parts of the process when it comes to sourcing the right stone. Also when you give him a price bracket that you want to stay within he will do his absolute best and exhaust all of his resources to find the one that puts a smile on both your face and your wallet! He is DEFINITELY not the most expensive. But he is also not the cheapest. He is right in that middle sweet spot.
He drew up the ring that I wanted, first on paper, then in CAD — all very quickly. I approved the CAD and we had a wax model made up. When I went to view the first CAD I liked it… but didn’t love it (not his fault, sometimes you need to take a couple swings when custom designing from scratch). Now, usually I might be quiet and just let it go… but this was going to be on my future wife’s hand forever and it had to be perfect. I think he could tell from my reaction that it wasn’t perfect for me and so he immediately asked what changes I wanted. Again, extremely patient and attentive. I let him know what I needed changed and he got right on it. 48hrs later (on the weekend) I had another CAD drawing to approve. This one looked great on the CAD so I gave him the thumbs up. 3 days later I was in looking at the wax again. BOOMSHAKALAKA — he nailed it! It was exactly what I wanted. There was just one tiny tiny tiny little adjustment I wanted. But with his obvious attention to detail I decided to forego another wax and just trust that he would make the change exactly as he stated, in the final production of the ring.
At that last meeting I told him the exact day I was proposing and he promised that 100% the ring would be done by then. Throughout the process of creating the final ring he kept me very up to date via email and I could hardly contain my excitement. Finally the day came and the ring was finished. I showed up and he had the ring on his desk in the box (which is an awesome box btw). I sat down and just twirled around the box at first with huge anticipation! Finally I opened it up and W O W. I was instantly speechless, which was met with a chuckle by Tyler. I think it was obvious he could tell I was beyond impressed. The ring and diamond combo was absolutely stunning, like nothing I had seen before. I couldn’t take my eyes off of it, took it out of the box and walked around his office to get different light to reflect off of it. In was perfect in every way. Was worth every single penny.
Everything from beginning to end with Tyler was excellent. I truly couldn’t recommend anyone more whole-​heartedly. I do not write reviews on Unilocal… ever…because I just don’t have the time. But Tyler was certainly worthy of my time. If you need anything jewelry related, do yourself a favor and at least give him a call. You’ll be very thankful you did! I will be coming back to Tyler with all future business for as long as he is around.

We just got our T Anthony rings (engagement and eternity band) and we could not be happier with the outcome.
When we reached out to Tyler we had several different concepts in mind and a particular budget too. His expertise helped us land on exactly what was right for us and we are thrilled.
We were blown away by the craftsmanship and quality of the rings and so was our appraiser. Our set literally appraised for double!

Agree with all reviews, Tyler is outstanding. Honest, straight forward, no hidden sales tricks or gimmicks, quality work, fair and reasonable price. Then add to that he’s personable and friendly. In all my experience leading me to T Anthony Jewelers I discovered it’s really rare to find all these traits in a Jeweler and the Jewelery business.
It’s hard to express what makes T Anthony Jewelers so good in one simple comment, as it’s a combination of the all round experience and quality that makes Tyler so good.
Most importantly the quality of craftsmanship is exceptional. My fiancé and I feel we have the most beautiful ring we’ve ever seen.
It’s a decision that you want to get right, the perfect ring, and one I agonized over for ages. Tyler was always patient and supportive, further more even empathetic, of this process. Always understanding.
I tried no less than 5 retail jewelers and ended up having bad experiences at almost every one of them. Don’t get me wrong, they were great at first, but when it comes to the sales end of things, they push all sorts of gimmicks and tricks, with hidden costs up the ying yang. I had a sales attendant tell me my decision not to buy with them was a «visceral experience» for her. The emotional manipulation is unbelievable. Second only to used car salesmen it would seem…
By the time I visited my my second retail store and decided to buy my diamond online. (Best decision ever). Every store I went to from there wanted to try and lecture me on the risks of buying a diamond online and how I should be buying with them (50% increase cost). Not once did Tyler make me feel that way, in fact he helped me and supported that decision! By helping evaluate whether the diamond I had bought elsewhere was a good purchase. He never once was condescending.
Would very comfortably recommend T Anthony Jewelers to anyone.
Not to mention his office is worth a visit just for the view :)

I hit up Tyler with only 3.5 weeks left which I thought would not be enough time to give my girlfriend. Little did I know, that was more than enough time for Tyler to whip something up!
Tyler asked me what kind of diamonds I wanted and when they came in he allowed me to inspect each diamond closely. He also schooled me on diamonds, so I knew what to look for and how to pick a diamond that would fit my girlfriend’s unique personality.
After 2.5 weeks of me being indecisive and picky, I was finally picked out one diamond and a ring design for my fiancée to be. Throughout this whole time, Tyler was very understanding and catered to my needs. When I wanted to see more round diamonds with good clarity and colors, he got them in quickly and we were able to eliminate more choices.
Tyler completed the ring quickly and I couldn’t have been happier with the outcome. I was able to get the ring a few days before my proposal. (If I was smart, I would have practiced proposing with the ring because during the real thing, I opened the box backwards.)

Tyler schooled me on diamonds and I feel that I know more about diamonds than most girls! He was very responsive and communication was amazing.

I originally came here to have a family heirloom ring fixed, the price was much better than other quotes I had received. Next, we decided to come here for our wedding bands after a bit of shopping around and the prices here are very fair.

I recently purchased my wife’s engagement ring and wedding band from Tyler and I highly recommend working with him or at the very least paying him a visit. I was very skeptical about working with jewelers before meeting Tyler. He is very, very easy to work with.
We had shopped most of the local jewelry chains and a handful of independent custom jewelers and Tyler was by far the best in all areas. The retail chains lacked originality and the quality of their stones seemed very average and over priced. A lot of the independent jewelers that we met with all had great quality products, but were all high pressure and substantially over priced; they sold on the idea that custom designed rings came with a much higher price tag.
Prior to meeting Tyler, we had visited an independent jeweler in Bellevue who had a very nice store. We let him know what we were looking for and he quoted us a price that was way out of our budget. I happened to reach out to Tyler, told him what I was looking for and he was able to do a similar design that had an additional 2Cts for ¹⁄₃ of the price. And during our diamond hunt, he had brought in a handful of diamonds for us to look at. I happened to find a couple stones online that I was interested in and he was able to bring in similarly spec’d stones around the same price in just a few days. Once all the decisions were made, I asked him if he could have it all wrapped up in a few weeks and he was able to do it.
Tyler definitely made this a great experience; it’s nice not second guessing a purchase like this one.
