T J Maxx

My fave TJMAXX after the Edmonds store stopped stocking any Korean sheet masks and skincare. (Boo Edmonds, BOO!!) This store was so stocked last time I was in, whoever is buying for them knows their stuff-​Korean beauty is massive right now, for good reason, it’s awesome! Please never stop stocking Leaders, IPKN, Dr. Jart, etc. The American skincare here is mid to higher end too, I love shopping this store. I wish the makeup section was better but it makes the times I find a treasure hidden away that much more fun!

Watch out for this place. It’s dangerous! Good prices and good brands. All clean and organized. The people that work here take care to make the store look it’s best. Friendly Customer service.

I’m a long time TJ Maxx shopper. This was my first time in this store, and though I found it to be clean and well-​stocked, I felt treated a little bit like a presumed thief. From the dressing rooms to the cash registers, I was inspected with a fine-​toothed comb. This hasn’t happened to me in another store, so I’m not sure I’ll go back. Maybe the store has problems with theft in general…

Oh TJ Maxx. I have a love-​hate relationship with you. I love you because you are full of good deals on beautiful merchandise. I hate you because it’s so easy to spend money with you!
When my family visits from overseas they go buck-​wild there. Buck. Wild. Tons of amazing buys on brand name items which have so much appeal for my family. Name brands are vey important. Michael Kors. Calvin Klein. Coach. Tahari. DKNY. Tumi. And many many more.
The people who work at this TJ Maxx are especially helpful and kind. This is important when my family goes through checkout with two –three carts piled with a mountain of clothes and other goodies.

I’m a huge HUGE fan of T. J, Marshalls, and Homegoods. Each location is slightly different, and the Northgate TJ is one of my favorites.
They have awesome jewelry, bags (purses and travel), stuff for the home (BEST hostess gifts!) and great workout gear.
I buy almost all of my home décor stuff here, including rugs, along with all the toys for our dog that just destroys them all. Since you’re not spending a ton of money you feel like you’re getting a great deal!

I’m feeling especially happy with this store right now. I needed a roasting pan quickly. Went into the store and found one just the right size for my Christmas Eve pork roast. I
also found many of my ornaments here this year. Every time I shop here it’s a treasure hunt and I always find some treasure.

TJM earns my «Holy Batman» of the day. I had heard rumors that the brand sometimes carries things like kayaks, but had never seen one in store until today. $ 249.99 for a brand spankin’ new kayak? If only my little car could transport it…

~i love TJ Maxx! I love Michael Kors and Coach handbags that are reduced and still authentic. I was searching for a cute cup for my ice drinks. I finally found one for only $ 3.50. Caramelita was my customer service and cashier. She was great, friendly, and funny. I like people like that who shows great customer service. Thanks again!

Small, dingy, feels cheap. Extremely limited selection. Almost feels like a discount Kmart.

This store always has some amazing deals and items for anyone’s home.
My wife and I just moved for the new year and found some great items for our home and the prices were much cheaper than the other stores competitors!
My only negative star was the Clearance area had tons of stuff in it that wasn’t marked down they definitely need to clear the non clearance items out of the area.

My experience at tj max was amazing. I came in with my mother who was looking for the right para of shoes. Not only did we find affordable sturdy shoes for her, but we were treated exceptionally well. Firstly we entered the line cute in the wrong direction and instead of getting scolded or eyes rolled at, we were courteously escorted to a checker. Then the check or proceeded to be so nice to us! She made eye contact she genuinely asked how we were and listened she was at multitasking the entire time she was paying attention to us and it felt so nice. I stopped to compliment her to her manager and he too was very courteous to us. Other coworkers were listening in on what I was saying about how my mom has an older person is not always treated well– they to all jumped in with listening here’s an good eye contact. I’m not used to that type of customer service and a department store it was absolutely refreshing!

Am I the only one giving the T.J. Maxx 5 stars?
I never find clothing at these discounted stores (xs, petite short — ha!) but this T.J. Maxx is great with everything else.
There is a good variety of homegoods (OXO brand, Kate Spade, Cynthia Rowley, etc.) at super cheap prices. Heck, I even discovered the almighty microwave potato cooker here for $ 4.00. The best $ 4 I have spent to get an awesome spud cooked in 5 minutes.
There are also a variety of snacks near the register, and many of which are vegan! Total score, but be sure to look for the expiration date. Also, they sell the tasty, tasty, Turkish Delight here. I love the chewy, powdered sugar coated bits of goodness and you can get a ¼ to ½ lb box for less than $ 5!
If you are into crafts, stop by often, and you’ll find a small selection of paper goods, cardboard boxes (for you to decorate of course), paper hole puncher things, and cute craft embellishments that cost at least $ 4 – 6 at Target but is $ 1.99 here.
Parking is abundant, and everyone who works here has always been nice and helpful!

It’s my secret indulgence, but I love browsing and shopping here even for a few minutes anytime I have some time to myself without the kids. I’ve also picked up some awesome steals on boots, shoes and clothes, but especially the boots.

Needs to open earlier on Sundays! Just saying. Love to buy pet supplies here b/​c the treats, toys and cleaning supplies are much cheaper than a pet store.

They must have gotten new management recently. I’ve always stopped in this store when I was doing a Northgate/​Target shopping trip. Up until a few months ago, my visits were usually short.
The last few times I have been here it has been MUCH better. The aisles aren’t cluttered with stuff, things are organized, there are displays etc. Now if you aren’t familiar with this chain to begin with, lower your typical department store standards. This is a discount store, no doubt about it. That said, it is my current favorite location. I don’t always find something, but I could spend countless hours just wandering around.

This place probably deserves 2 stars, but I keep coming back for random stuff only they would have so I better give it 3.
Stuff I come here for includes:
–Cheeeeeap hand weights
–A sweatsuit for a Halloween costume (they didn’t have it)
–A coat
I don’t think I’ve purchased anything here ever. It’s kinda fun to go to look at the weird fuzzy teal vests, and the people who consider buying them. The shoes aren’t cheap and neither are the clothes that are actually worth buying unless you come across a really good find! The coat selection is ok.
It has kind of a WalMart feel to me.

We were doing houseware shopping and picked up a few accents items, a toaster, small stereo, side table and small artwork, couple cups and small plates, olive oil, portable coffee mugs ($ 2.50)… I have also gotten numerous work shirts and pants for very affordable prices…
Atmosphere was pretty clean, used the bathrooms which were in decent shape, line moved briskly and we were in and out in less than 20 minutes!

What can I say? Low prices for name brands =)
This place is right around the corner form me which is nice and I love it because unlike ross down the street, it isn’t completely full of clutter!
You can practically find anything at this place: Laptop bag, luggage, perfume, hair products, fitness attire/​equipment, bathing suits, candles etc.
If you’re looking for something in particular rather than browsing around, I’d check this place out. Most times you’ll find what you need and it will be discounted.

Emergency Shopping for a carry-​on luggage this Thursday night, my sister recommended me to go to TJ Maxx. She is such a bargain and knows where to get goodies without paying too much.
After dinner, we went there just 30 minutes before the store closed. There’s a section full of luggage and bags. We were there for 10 minutes and decided what I should get. Plus, we also moved to the shoes section and tried on several pairs of shoes.
The end of my shopping at TJ Maxx, I bought a carry-​on luggage, Swiss (it matches my backpack) for $ 39.99. I was really happy!
Though, the store can get a bit messy. I would try to go the first thing in the morning when they open and less shoppers around.

I went to TJ Maxx this week for some new towels and came out with a ton of great clothes (plus the towels). I think I must have hit it on just the right day (thursday) but I totally scored and will definitely be shopping there for clothes more often.

I kind of like TJ Maxx and this is probably the best location around. You can find great bargains here — everything from shoes to bags to exercise equipment to gift ideas. It’s fun to browse or even to dig if you are looking for something more specific.
It’s in a good location near Northgate and is fairly big, so it’s packed full of lots of items. I have found some really great stuff here over the years.
It can get really busy here around the holidays, but they have a pretty quick checkout process and the employees are friendly.

This place is a cross between Tuesday Morning and Target with a dash of Big Lots. Overstocks, closeouts and some first run stuff.
Those who know me generally consider me a rather boisterous snob. Persnickety and pious, I am not one to frequent discount stores. And yet, a cheapskate runs through me. After all, every nickle I save on day to day items can line the corporate pockets of some far off Ritz Carleton.
Case in point. I needed a new shower curtain liner. $ 10? $ 8? try $ 4 at TJ Maxx for a quality product. A steal. Or A high end piece of luggage, I saw at $ 300 I bought for $ 69. Costco: SUCK IT!
And yet, the merchandise is definitely hit for miss. Women’s clothes in rolling fields of hideous colors and eye jarring ugliness hide the hidden Jones New York gem.
A chintzy balsa wood chest on top of which resides an elegant ceramic pot.
Lastly, and it must be mentioned, WTF with the name TJ Maxx? Sounds like some lame 80’s formula band or a 1991 TV detective reject. Gag me with a spoon fer sure. Totally
