I was there the last weekend of 1⁄2016. Had the Washington Chicken. it was so beyond yummy! Highly reccommend

This review is for the drinks! I don’t think we’ve ever had a more perfectly made Rye Manhattan. We loved it so much, in fact, that the next day we bought all of the ingredients to try and remake them at home. If you’re a whiskey fan, you absolutely need to order this Manhattan. Even if you’re not… order this Manhattan and you’ll probably be converted by the time you finish your first one. The service was great as well– even though we were just in to get a couple drinks, we were treated well and our server was super cool and attentive. The manager(I think?) seated us and he was very kind and professional. It was a very relaxing, happy vibe. It was dimly lit, some jazz was playing on the speakers, and it was great to sit by the window and watch the rain outside while we drink the best Manhattans in the world. This is the bar we’ve been looking for, and we will for sure be back!

Nice ambiance, fancy bar, and really good prices. Food was delicious: salmon burger and lobster roll.

We came here for date night on New Year’s Eve. The restaurant is nice and there are plenty of wait staff around to keep the bread and water coming. We had the crab cake appetizer which was very tasty but for $ 16 they should at least give you two crab cakes or tell you it’s only one. We split the grilled romaine salad. This was our favorite dish. It has very unique flavors that really worked together. We both had the Delmonico rib eye for dinner and we were disappointed with the steak. The garlic mashed potatoes were excellent and the rub on the steak was tasty but the steak was cut pretty thin, chewy, and hard to cut even though we both ordered medium rare which came on the rare side. I wish the waiter had steered us in another direction on our main course. He was a very nice young man but seemed unsure of what he was doing and disappeared for long periods of time. The dessert menu is lacking so we skipped it this time. Overall, I would eat here again.

Had a really great dinner experience here. The staff was very friendly, our sever was on point. Cocktails were delicious! The beef tenderloin appetizer was full of flavor and tender. I have the Washington chicken, I don’t usually order chicken at restaurants but the server recommend it. Everything on the plate was amazing, the jus that was on the potatoes and chicken was so flavourful. The chicken was moist, and the skin was nice and crisp. My friend had the crab cakes and said they were some of the best she ever had. Great meal.

Nice two level restaurant. It was quiet on a tuesday night. Which also means service was on their game. It is good for the 3 course deal.

I can’t provide any stars. We were served water and watched our waiter walk by our table several times within about 15 minutes without a glance. So we left.

Tasty food, good service. Pricey, but worth it. Got appetizers: crab cake and egg plants.

Good food and decent service but kinda pricey. We had the trout and blue cheese burger as the main dishes. Would highly recommend both; super good. We started with the beef cornitas which were excellent. We finished with the dessert sampler which was a let down. If i came back, I would get the same appetizer and entrée then walk over to Dicks for an ice cream.

Having Celiac Disease and 300 additional food allergies, I have to be careful where I dine and how well the waitstaff and cook staff communicate with each other. One misstep makes the difference between a good dining experience and a night in the Emergency Room. I was immediately greeted by the ladies at the reception and seating desk, and they alerted the floor manager, who came to meet with me and go over the menu of what could and could not be done. She was knowledgeable about the ingredients of their food, was respectful with getting answers to my detailed questions, and we collaborated on a main dish that would be satisfying in flavor and in nutrient balance. The chef created my plate properly and there were no mistakes. My food came out quickly, hot, dairy/soy/gluten/nut/bean/allium free. My only complaint would be what is a bit sparse on this menu: vegetable options that are not creamed with dairy. Many CD/NCGS people are unable to eat milk dairy, and while kale is a vegetable that I like, it is a little sad without a non-dairy sauce to add calories and flavor. People removing flours and alternate flours from their diets are generally not trying to lose weight; many of us are trying to gain or maintain weight because the gluten and dairy are missing from our diets. This is the only reason why I didn’t give Ten Mercer five stars; very few restaurants get a 5-star from me because they have not asked the 70 million people who need this diet to stay healthy what it is that they truly want when they go out to eat. Without the extra fat found in a non-dairy source, people like me will leave the table still hungry. And this was true for me. As none of the appetizers would work for me, and of course, neither would the desserts, I left the restaurant healthy, but hungry. And for $ 35+, I might want just a little bit more: coconut oil on the kale, three more fingerling potatoes, slightly larger piece of fish. The sherry aioli with the pan grilled trout was a nice touch; that egg on the side helped, but it also seemed odd. Bacon? All in all, I give the experience a thumbs up for people with food allergies and CD. However, the choices are currently limited for non-dairy options.

I have season tickets to the opera and have been meaning to try this place for a while. I had a coupon from my Chinook Book that was about to expire, so I grabbed the opportunity last night. It took a while for the hostess to greet me, but she came as soon as she saw me and was very friendly. I was dining alone and my waiter, Tim, was attentive and warm in spite of a small post-opera rush. Between my waiter and the support staff, my water was always full and any time I made eye contact, I was attended promptly. Even just looking around, the bartender smiled when he saw me. People were simply friendly. Background music was good jazz, loud enough to hear, but not intrusive, and conversations from other tables were a low hum. I had the crab cake appetizer, which was good, though I got some shells.(Hey! At least I know it’s real crab…) For my entrée, I had the venison and wild boar sugo. I remember when it came, I though it was over grits — which I love — but it was a cauliflower purée, which I had forgotten, but also love. Oh my goodness! It was amazing. It was so flavorful and just MELTED in my mouth. I had enough to box up for lunch the next day, and I’m enjoying it now as I write.(Don’t get me wrong… the portions aren’t obnoxiously huge, but certainly ample, especially for a late dinner.) I will definitely be back to Ten Mercer. The ambiance is sexy, the staff is warm and professional, and my food experience was just wonderful.

Full Disclosure: I’ve only eaten the happy hour food and have no opinion of the normal menu. That being said, the happy hour food is, forgive my 90’s lingo, SOBOMB. I had a glass of pretty decent sauvignon blanc – chilled to cellar temperature, I think – for $ 5. Now, that alone is pretty sweet. You can get wine drunk here in style for the same price as a bottle at home, but what’s even better is the food. The day I went, the Happy Hour consisted of $ 2 quesadillas with cheese and peppers and sweet and spicy tomatillo salsa, $ 2 shoe string potatoes, cooked perfectly, $ 5 mini portions of fish and chips, and several other things I can’t remember. I ordered a $ 2 quesadilla thinking I’d be getting something the size of my hand, but it actually turned out to be a full sized portion. Between that and the glass of wine, even with tax tipping the server extravagantly, I could’ve gotten out for less than $ 15. It was ridiculous in the best possible way. Highly recommend as an after work meetup spot to chill with friends or coworkers!

Shockingly fancy restaurant and wine/cocktail lounge in Lower Queen Anne. Good spot to consider for something fancier and low key in the area.

Ten Mercer was definitely not a ten! Went there for dinner pre-show last night. We were seated immediately and placed our drink order. Strike one. waiter offered a wine suggestion and when my friend ordered something else he literally rolled his eyes and shook his head. While suggestions are always appreciated, shouldn’t I assume if a wine is on your menu it should be good? Same issue when placing food order and my friend asked for an adjustment to the fish special. Thinking the waiter was taking himself a little too seriously. Strike two. food was sub par. We ordered the 3 for $ 30 special as part of Seattle Restaurant Week. Friend ordered salad, fish special, and chocolate dessert. I ordered bacon wrapped dates, smoked pork tenderloin, and the vanilla crème brulee. Both dinners were just kind of blah. My dates were overcooked to the point of extremely mushy. The pork dish was dry and tasteless. It was served over spaetzle which was completely dry and hard. Desserts were«okay» but nothing to write home about. Just kind of average. Strike three. I ordered coffee when we sat down. Cup was empty the entire meal without an offer to fill it up. Water bottle was empty as well and nothing. Other than taking the order and dropping off the check, our waiter was pretty much absent. Really sad because would love to have found a new place in this area for pre/post concerts and shows. Looks like this will be our first and last visit.

We came for Dine Around Seattle. I really like that the portion sizes were«normal» rather than scaled down as some restaurants do for restaurant week promotions. The Pork Osso Bucco was so tender that I didn’t need a knife. The Vanilla Bean Custard with muscovado shell was amazing, and in my opinion, better than a crème brûlée because the topping was sweet — no bitter aftertaste from burnt sugar. The service was great. Our server was friendly and attentive. Valet parking is available for $ 10.

Came here last Saturday night for a friends birthday. It’s in Queen Ann area so of course it was really busy! They have valet parking for $ 10 or hopefully you’re a lucky bunny who finds street parking. Lol. The restaurant was surprisingly not as busy as I thought it would’ve been. The host had me seated to my party right away. As I was looking at their menu, they didn’t have a wide variety of food. I thought it would’ve. But anyways, I ordered a full size lobster bisque and their crab cake sandwich. The bisque is amazing!!! I’ve never had lobster bisque but I am a huge soup lover. The soup is flavored perfectly. Every bite I took, had grounded lobster in it. So delicious! Definitely order their lobster bisque if you’re a seafood and soup lover. The crab cake sandwich was ok. It was good but I’ve had better crab cake. The servers were very prompt and very informative. Atmosphere is chill. I would have to come back and try other things and hopefully they have more on their menu.

I agree with others. Nothing quite spectacular Crabcakes: these were nice and I’d order this again. I’m not a fan of shoestring fries, but my friend is. Scallops: 3 on the plate. They were a bit overcooked making them slightly more rubbery. It not seared at all as there was no crust. Porkloin: could have been good if not overcooked also. Quite tough and dry. The glaze is a bit too sweet. The spaezle was great though. Steak salad: solid, but way overpriced for half salad! Swordfish: dry, stiff and rubber. Hostesses were really nice. Our server was ok, not very happy.

Krystin T. and I came here after trying to get into Toulouse Petite which was slammed. We came in right at the tail end of happy hour which was a happy surprise for us. We had a very random assortment of food from the happy hour menu — none of it healthy. I had the pan fried spaetzle(which was supposed to be a side… but came with pancetta and red onion) and a house salad.(The spaetzle was a little greasy and bland and the house salad was fine but nothing to write home about.) Krystin T. ordered shoestring fries which were really awesome. I’ve never seen fries that thin before! For some reason, this place was completely empty while everywhere else around us was pretty swamped. However, it’s definitely not a bad place by any means. Just pretty standard bar food.

What can I say here other then our dinner took almost 2hrs total and not in a good way. I will say tho the service was pretty damn good and attitudes of the work force here is really great! Now on to the food. We had the $ 303 course restaurant week deal. We tried the steak, risotto and the roasted chicken. I’m sorry to report that everything was super bland. Normally I can be a little critical but everyone at the table was really disappointed with the meals. Everything was just ok. Nothing really memorable other than the service. Would I recommend Ten Mercer to an out of town guest, probably not. Nothing about this place was really top notch to draw me back again. Its definitely survived because of the location on lower queen anne and thats the only reason in my opinion. Sorry just not worth the price!

Our original plans fell through so we picked Ten Mercer to celebrate our anniversary :). Monday night ++ 5:30pm = not much going on. We sat at a table and ordered a couple of drinks, the vegetarian quesadilla(appetizer), crab burger, & pan fried trout. Drinks — great Quesadilla — crispy, flavorful, & served with an awesome salsa Crab burger — huge chunks of crab dispersed throughout patty, wasabi sauce(strong), & a huge helping of shoestring fries(slightly thinner than my boyfriend preferred but still crunchy nevertheless) Trout — wonderful flavor, beans well seasoned, loved the pan-fried pancetta and potatoes, sherry aioli was light and creamy Our server was accommodating and our dishes were cleared in a timely manner. There are two floors with plenty of seating. I would definitely love to go back soon!
