I like this place. The owner is sweet and the food is very fresh and yummy. The first time I was here, I was a bit surprised that the teriyaki dishes are just meat, no vegetables at all(not including the salad). It’s very tasty, though I wish there was some kind of vegetable side I could order! It comes with a ton of food, lots and lots of meat. This time I ordered stir fry chicken with vegetables so we will see how I like that!

I was really surprised to find a teriyaki place that’s open on Sundays. I was craving teriyaki, so I decided to check this place out. I’ve driven by it so many times but saw that it got mediocre reviews on Unilocal. The food here tastes better than it looks. Yes, I think the presentation blows, but it’s definitely a solid spot for teriyaki. I got the chicken teriyaki and the spicy chicken teriyaki, and opted for chicken breast for both. The spicy chicken teriyaki was not quite what I expected. The chicken pieces were smaller than the usual chicken teriyaki slices, and the sauce was completely different from the teriyaki sauce(instead of just the spiced up version of it). It was really good and I would definitely order it again, but it had a little bit of an odd ketchup hint to it that I could do without. My boyfriend said the chicken teriyaki was really good, and that the chicken pieces were almost like rotisserie chicken. Prices seem reasonable for Cap Hill. Yes, they have their own parking lot but it’s an illusion! Most of the spots are for Zipcars and the remaining 3 spots are tiny. The parking lot is kind of a clusterfuck(like most parking lots in Cap Hill).

This is one of the places I really miss since moving away from Capitol Hill. One of my favorite things about going here is how friendly and welcoming they are which has helped to build a very strong base of regular customers. The restaurant is always clean and well maintained which can be rare when it comes to teriyaki places. Everything I have ever ordered here has been really good and nothing has ever seemed like it has been made with low quality ingredients are by cutting any corners when it comes to preparation. The amount of food you get is good for the price you pay and I have always been satisfied with anything I have tried. Oh, and if you like really spicy food, ask for extra spicy, it really does have a good kick to it. Not super crazy hot, but much better than most places offer.

Teriyaki and Wok is my absolute favorite place to get Teriyaki in the city. The service is incredibly fast, super friendly, and competent – and the food is delicious!

Along Broadway, there are a few restaurants that everybody in the service industry knows, loves and frequents. Tacos Chukis, Pagliacci, and here, «Crackiyaki». So named because their Teriyaki sauce is so good, we’re all convinced there’s crack in it. Which is not a deal-breaker by any means. We are service industry after all. The service is wonderful, food comes out quickly, they remember customers orders to a damn near ridiculous extent, and are centrally located. If they had a liquor license, there’s a chance this would be my new regular spot.

Great Teriyaki stop! I had the teriyaki chicken and katsu combo to go and thought is was solid. The portions were nice, cooked perfectly and I enjoyed the flavors. Everything was exactly like you’d expect it to be, and that’s a good thing when you’re craving some teriyaki! The menu is fairly priced and the service is friendly and pretty quick. While I was waiting there was a steady stream of people coming in to get stuff to go, so it seems like a popular place to try if you’re craving teriyaki or wok. Next time I’ll have to try the wok items!

I order from here once every 2 – 3 weeks through Postmates and their chicken teriyaki is always fresh and delicious! The side salad is always crisp and fresh as well. Love that they include a free egg roll as an option. I can’t review the business itself as I have never stepped foot inside, but they get 2 thumbs up for food!

The food is probably more in the 3.5−4 range(A-OK to very good), but the ladies who manage this spot are so nice and provide such excellent service that it’s worth more than a few extra stars. It’s a delight coming here.(Frankly, I’m wary of reviewers complaining about bad service here, because it’s just incomprehensible that it could happen.) I would actually skip the the namesake teriyaki, which is just OK, and go for some of the other dishes which are a lot better. The fried dishes(egg rolls, general tsao’s chicken, honey sesame chicken, etc) are uniquely fresh and crispy, not like most mushy dishes you’d get elsewhere. They are, however, very rich — order sparingly or split with a friend. The Mongolian chicken is a healthier favorite, with delicious savory sauce and plenty of vegetables. A nice feature of the menu are the combo plates and monthly specials, which allow you to try different dishes at the same time. Recommended!

Had my boyfriend drive to get lunch for my coworker and I today and let me just say it’s the worst Teriaki I’ve ever had! It was dry and gross. The Gyoza was cold and also was the worst I’ve ever had! And it was almost 25 $! Long story short, I’m never going here again.

We love our regular visits to Teriyaki & Wok! Between the great food and the excellent service, this place has become a Capitol Hill gem that deserves praise. The host is always very warm and welcoming and contributes to a great atmosphere. The portions are generous and they are always very eager to accommodate modifications. I particularly recommend Singapore Noodles, the Combo of the Month, and Kung Pao Chicken. We have become very satisfied regulars at this place which contributes to the spirit of the North Broadway community! Do yourself a favor and stop in!

I phoned ahead the other night. Went to pick up and the employee was very rude. She would rather argue with me over something petty than to let me pick up my $ 30 order. Don’t see many places that send away a paying customer and let the food go to waste. Maybe she was just having a bad night. Only one customer in there so it seems they would want business. Luckily there are lots of options on the hill. Restaurant across the street was happy to help me instead.

I love eating here every time I come home this is where I make sure I stop. Every time I go it gets better and better each time. I got the simple meal: Teriyaki Chicken with rice and salad. Its their original and mine too. Ahhh I was in heaven to be honest. I also order their tea I love it. Its a good flavor and I like it. Its just a green tea, maybe the brand. In the winter time it hits the spot. I wish NYC has a tasty teriyaki spot like this. I love how much seating it has and how many open seats during lunch time has because everyone one takes out and ends up leaving with their food. Its great fast, delicious, fully cooked chicken. I usually get the chicken breasts, but it was just great the way it is. It was placed all nice and perfect on the plate too. I love the lady who works the front, she is a gem. She even reminder me, even with an afro.(its been 1 year and half).

I came here randomly during lunch from my work route and decided to give this place a shot. I ordered the teriyaki and gyoza combo. It was pretty good and you get a decent amount of food. It doesn’t seem like you get much chicken but its all piled up so it’s deceiving. The lady cashier was nice and the establishment was clean. i wouldn’t mind dropping in again for lunch.

Always great food served with a warm smile. Food is prepared quickly, and is consistent. I have also used them to cater dinner for 25 with great success. Have also called for pick up.

I ate here one time a few weeks ago. I rate the chicken teriyaki I had as a 2-star because the temperature wasn’t consistent throughout, which means it wasn’t cooked fresh for me. Some parts were lukewarm, others were hot, and some were actually cool. The rice and salad were good. But it got me thinking that for that poor quality of food that was more money than I’d like to spend on it. The reason I gave it a three is that while I’m unlikely to ever go back there the woman was friendly, the service was fast, and the restroom was clean. Perhaps they were having an off day and maybe if I go back in the future it will be stellar and freshly cooked. You never know! But there definitely wasn’t any kind of a taste that made me think I MUST go back there again.

I really want to give this place more stars. The staff is super friendly, and the menu has variety. It’s quick and definitely convenient. But sometimes I feel like it’s overpriced and not so great. The katsu is good, the combo meals aren’t bad, but the udon wasn’t very tasty and the California rolls are a joke. At least the last five times I’ve gotten them, there is essentially no crab whatsoever(one time, there was none at all). For $ 8, I can get an awesome CA roll anywhere else.

Teriyaki & Wok is my new favourite cheap eat on Broadway. You go inside, order quickly, and either wait at a table or in the little waiting area. The menu is extensive and clear, the woman who takes your order is cheerful and helpful, and the entire ordering process is quick and easy – perfect for me, because I exclusively get takeout here. You have to wait 5 – 10 minutes to get your food. But hey, there’s free wifi! Play a couple of rounds of Angry Bird, check your email, whatever. When your food shows up, she’ll ask if you want extra teriyaki sauce – score! The next step is to head home and devour the contents of that takeout box. Most offerings on their menu are under $ 10. Kind of impossible to find fault with what you get for that price. I’m a fan of the teriyaki and gyoza combination, but don’t take my word for it. Go check it out yourself!
