Phenomenal chicken, fast service. I spent 3 weeks in Seattle for work and ordered it 4 times. Gotta pay it forward with my review because I would not have gone there if it hadn’t have been so well reviewed here on Unilocal

This is a good family-owned, hole in the wall spot for lunch. Huge portions(can probably be two meals!) for the price. The elderly man who runs the cash register is so cute! There are a variety of menu items that are Japanese/Korean/Chinese-inspired. I like the Mongolian Beef & Spicy Chicken Teriyaki. Definitely fresh and I believe items are made to order. If you’re planning to order takeout, call ahead of time! It gets pretty busy during peak lunch hours and you may end up waiting around for a bit. Don’t be put off by its location in a Shell gas station plaza, this place is good!

Affordable, huge portions, and quick/friendly service! I’ve ordered takeout orders from Teriyaki Bowl multiple times since I’ve moved to Queen Anne. The food quality is always consistent. My go-to order is the chicken teriyaki and gyoza combo. If I feel like mixing it up, I’ll order the chicken katsu. Yum! I think they kinda go light on the teriyaki sauce so make sure you ask for extra sauce :)

Hubby comes here every time he’s in Seattle. I came with him this time and was skeptical to order my own meal. It is next to a gas station, and is a bit out of place. So he ordered his standard teriyaki chicken and we went back to the hotel. He opened up the container, and the smell was divine. For $ 8.99+tax, you get two scoops of perfectly cooked white rice, and an entirely full section of meat, and a side salad. I remember the lady in the kitchen chopping up the meat for our order — it is very fresh. I tasted my first bite and was in love. My hubby only got to eat ½ the order because I kept hoarding it for myself. I should have ordered my own. Next time. Bonus: the older gentleman that takes your order is just as cute as can be and friendly. If you think you liked Panda Express, you will live this place even more. Plus you’re supporting a locally owned business!

This is definitely a weird place. They offer Japanese food like Katsu and yakisoba, and Chinese food like«Kung pao chicken» and beef broccoli. Yet the old man who works the front and the old woman who works in the back are Korean. There’s no Korean food on the menu. No ban chan, no chapchae, and no mandoo. They are confused. Came in at 8:30, old man tells us that they close at 9. Ok, thanks. Typical plate lunch/take out place means that you order at the cash register with no service. Because we came in so close to closing, they served our food intake out containers. Chinese beef broccoli is made with teri beef and served with a side of teriyaki sauce. I didn’t order Teri beef with broccoli mixed in. It game with two scoops of white rice. Wtf. I paid $ 12 for this?! Hellllll no. This place has plenty of parking. I guess that’s one thing it has going for it. Don’t waste your time or money on mediocre food that costs too much.

I eat at this place all the time and it’s super consistent and very good. The food is a little on the pricy side but it’s by far the best teriyaki in the area. I really like the spicy chicken and the Gyoza. I would highly recommend this place.

Grabbed a Spicy Chicken teriyaki takeout from here last night. I called and ordered and when I got there 10 minutes later it was just ready as I entered. The chicken was absolutely fantastic. Juicy, moist, full of flavor and with a slight kick to it. The sauce over it is really nice albeit a little too salty if you’re not mixing it all with the rice. The salad on the side is ok. Just a little lettuce with too much dressing. Probably one of the best teriyaki dishes I’ve had in Seattle, and, for under $ 10 including tax, it’s a steal. I will most certainly be coming back here again more frequently.

Tasty goody! I just tried this place for the first time today and let me tell you, it is delicious! I tried the spicy chicken & beef combo and the teriyaki chicken & beef combo. The Spicy Combo –This is good, I liked the flavoring on the beef a lot –The chicken is perfectly seasoned, very juicy and not too spicy The Teriyaki Combo –In this one, the chicken was my favorite part, flavor was great, not too sweet –The beef was very good as well but I just thought the spicy beef was yummier –I got brown rice with this combo and the rice was cooked to perfection. 5-Stars!

Teriyaki bowl is probably the best teriyaki joint I’ve found in the PNW. I’m a regular and they recognize me with a hearty hello, but then its straight down to business. This is my kind of place. This place has the usual offerings of a teriyaki place, but what sets this place apart is that they cook everything to order. So it can take a little bit more time than some of the other places I’ve been to(we’re talking 5ish minutes compared to 1 or 2), but it’s worth the wait. What really sets them apart are the marinades they use for their meat. I get the chicken, chicken breast or beef. The meat is consistently excellent. What are you waiting for? Come here!

Spicy chicken is the absolute best thing ever. I eat here all the time since I live nearby. Plenty of food to share. I get egg rolls on the side usually and they are delicious pot stickers are also a good choice.

What a great find! My husband and I stopped here for dinner and were very pleased with our choice. I got the chicken curry special and my husband got the chicken and beef plate. Our food came out quickly and was delicious. The service was great, cute older Asian couple, who answered our questions. We would definitely come back.

Look — you want some Teriyaki? You want it quickly with large portions served by nice people? Then Teriyaki Bowl is for you. Don’t be put off by the gas station and strip-mall aspect of Teriyaki Bowl. In fact, inside it actually has some charm. We’ve tried quite a few dishes and there hasn’t been a bad one in the lot. I like the Spicy Chicken/Pork combo. The potstickers are good too. I’m attaching a photo or two. Basically Teriyaki Bowl is exactly what you expect, except better than your expectations. [does that sentence even make sense?] I’m chagrined to say that I’ve driven by Teriyaki Bowl for I don’t know how many years being slightly afraid of it. That was my mistake. Now it our family’s go-to place for Teriyaki.

I come here at least 2x a week with the fellas after the gym for the large chicken teriyaki meal. Very good portions and the chicken is always cooked well. They must brine or something because it hasn’t been dry once. Great value at $ 9.99+tax as well. I won’t go anywhere else for chicken teriyaki as long as this place is open. I have only tried one other thing off the menu and it was okay so I can only speak to the chicken teriyaki, but why get anything else at a teriyaki spot right?

I enjoy frequenting this place. PROS: great quality in comparison to other local teriyaki places, good price, great taste, minimal wait time, and decent menu options. I think it’s some of the better teriyaki I’ve had in Seattle – however it’s not my favourite. But, sadly my favourite place closed down and was replaced by a coffee shop. I think what would make it 5 stars is if they made the spicy chicken breast more spicy. It’s just not hot enough, sadly. But, I’ll be back for more anyway.

I lived off of Teriyaki Bowl for years, sometimes getting it 4 or more times in 1 week. The spicy chicken was my favorite but I never found a single dish I didn’t like. Everything about this place gets five stars. The service was always exceptional and personal. Don’t be let the location or plain storefront fool you — this place is worth stopping at, a lot. Eat-in or take-out are both great. I no longer live in Seattle but when I go back, I go to Teriyaki Bowl. Not many small single-$ restaurants get this kind of loyalty but this place deserves it. I miss it.

This was walking distance from the hotel I was staying at. I’m really glad I checked it out based on the Unilocal reviews. Nothing fancy, but it was quick and tasty with very generous portions. Chicken teriyaki was delicious!

Happened to be working close by and initial stopped at the 7 – 11. We decided we wanted real food and remembered seeing the sign as we went around the block. Stopped in right after they opened and the lady greeted us with a smile. About 10 minutes later out the door with our food. Spicy chicken an beef combo had just the right amount of heat, not too over powering with the chili. The beef was tender and thinly sliced. We both enjoyed our meals and would go back again.

Teriyaki Bowl is a solid spot for great chicken teriyaki. I live pretty close to this place and never really tried it out. About a month ago I decided to stop in and give it a shot. The only regret I have about this place is that it took me so damn long to try it. The food was exactly what I was looking for. Nice thick pieces of chicken that were flavored just right. For the price you pay you get more than enough food. I have been back here about 4 times now and have been satisfied each and every time.
