Best teriyaki ever! The teriyaki sauce is thick and delicious. Huge portions and fast service. I love the chicken and beef combo.

this is an updated review, the spicy chicken and gyoza’s are good. do not order the chicken or beef yakisoba unless you want half onions and 4 bites of chicken in one and some steakum beef.

The best kept fast-food secret in Magnolia. Understand, this place is take-out(with a few dine-in tables), and thus all that really matters is the food. The teriyaki and other offerings are delicious however, it is the beef short ribs that are memorable. Spend the extra couple of bucks and treat yourself to one of the most tender, flavorful dishes around. Truly, if this dish were served with elevated sides in a nice Asian restaurant, you would not balk at paying much more. It’s that good, and the portion size is generous!

I LOVE this Teriyaki spot. When I lived in QA, I was more of a regular. There Spicy Chicken Teriyaki is on point!

The server never smile, never serve me water, and she gave me forks for Udon. And the Udon, is worst ever.

They are lovely folk and you leave in hand with hefty hefty portions. Everything is made Fresh, the chicken actually is Chicken that is grilled and has been marinated so that it doesn’t just end up As overcooked, overdosed teriyaki moosh. I dislike rice, but they prepare it so Well I don’t mind indulging, their teriyaki is House made I believe and is fantastic. I Always end up adding on a side Of miso and at $ 1.50 it’s a steal. The dressing for the salad is the perfect balance of creamy, acidic and has those lovely notes of ginger and sesame. God bless the yakisoba which contains 4 servings min. Of yo’ daily veg. It’s whole ingredients. It’s healthy. I’ll tell myself that as I nom my way into oblivion.

Absolutely awesome. I used to live next door and order about once per week. The food was always fresh, delicious, and ready quickly.

Reminds of my dad’s food when he had a restaurant in Seattle. I think this is definitely my favorite place around here… Service may be little slow. However, it is because they actually cook their teriyaki when you order instead of pre cooking and keeping it in the warmer. Myabe not the best situation for work lunch but I’ll take cook to order teriyaki anytime over fast dried teriyaki. Their portions are HUGE! Spicy chicken is delicious. Pork teriyaki, yummy, and katsu was good as well. They have limited amount of parking but hey, it’s free parking. Will definitely be back and am excited to try yakisoba, my favorite from my dad’s food.

Really solid teriyaki spot. Some of my favorite T sauce ever. I usually opt for tofu yakisoba and it is always piping hot and fantastic. The bubble tea is also great, taro and mango being my favorites. They can get backed up at times, calling ahead is a good idea.

Not bad, priced good. Spicy chicken is good and so is the Katsu curry. Worth it for a decent, inexpensive, quick meal. Bubble tea is ok, seems to have fresh tapioca.

Decent chicken teriyaki. Nothing particularly special about it. Lots of rice and meat, good crisp salad, friendly, quick service. Not bad, not great — pretty basic. Not much room to sit, so probably better for takeout than dine-in.

So, apparently this sort of tiny little teriyaki house is a Seattle thing… I didn’t realize. Don’t judge me– I’m not from around here. I was at a conference at SPU, and a buddy and I were trying to find something good to eat near the campus. We started driving, not knowing where we were going, and ended up at Teriyaki Bowl. Here are the positives: 1) Inexpensive 2) Tasty food 3) Free entertainment if the same kid is there throwing a hissy fit about his little video game while his parents do their best to ignore him from across the restaurant(which, to be fair, is only about 10 feet). Here are the negatives:

Okay… this place is a 4/5, but I’m leaning more towards a 3⁄5. Why? New owners… the old owners used to hook it up with everything including the sauce… more meat… etc. These owners are still nice, but I can’t trust this place for a few reasons. The tables are never cleaned. They’re always so sticky and they just wipe them, but never clean them. Ugh. Second, I don’t trust their free water cups. They smell weird. But before the owners changed I think they gave you more for your money. I got the beef this time, and it was honestly a 1⁄5. I thought it was kinda nasty. And undercooked. I got their chicken teriyaki and it was good… but tasted a bit rubbery. Not sure what’s up with this place. I think they still have really good salad and their asian sauce is good. but I just think the new owners are a bit shiesty and the cleanliness kinda grosses me out. I think their prices are a bit high. I know plenty of places with great prices and great quality. Don’t get me wrong. I’ve been here plenty of times, but I think I’ll stop. They’re really nice though so I appreciate that.

I probably eat here about 2−3x/ week, sad really. But once you eat here once you’ll want to go back for more, the spicy chicken is excellent and so is the yakisoba. Great prices for what you want and with the excellent customer service you really can’t go wrong. Try a bubble tea when you get the chance.

Live on the street behind the Gilman Ave. location. Haven’t been there myself, but my sisters have and always bring back great tasting food. My favorite — anything with that great Teriyaki sauce, & they grill the meat, which I think is great. It tastes better that way. Also enjoyed the Gyozas — Japanese style dumplings. Mm mm! The prices for the food are all under $ 10.00.

Damn, this caught me off guard. I thought their Chicken Sauté would taste like any other place but it didn’t! It is amazing, super flavorful and lots of veggies! I also got some miso soup, it was piping hot after the drive home and sitting in the bag for 15mins! I would come back here for sure… I have cold left overs and its still really good! The fourth star is for the to-go boxes, they have the nice ones that don’t fall apart and the food won’t leak!

Conveniently located next to my house, Teriyaki Bowl serves as our crutch when we have nothing left to eat in the house and we want to pick up a quick meal. Always fresh, always hot, always quick. I love the fresh salads they add to every meal. I love the generous portions of rice. I love that the food is consistent and always delcious!

Best teriyaki in the Ballard, Magnolia, Interbay, and surrounding area. I challenge you to find better. *The quality of their regular chicken teriyaki trumps every other teriyaki place I’ve tried in the Seattle area. *You’ll never get burned out here; the majority of the common staple dishes are delicious, try them all. *The salad dressing is unreal; probably the best you’ve ever had in a teriyaki joint. *The rice is almost always perfect; fresh and sticky. *They used to give you a free soda with every meal… Yeah, those were the good olé days…

Well I didn’t have a bad hangover today and I was craving some seriuos broccoli. This place is really good. I think I prefer it over Sunny Teriyaki. I ordered the #5 spicy chicken and broccoli(1 – 5 is the choice of spiciness). It came with rice and a small salad. $ 1.50 more for fried rice but I wasn’t in the mood for that so stuck with the original order. The price was nice. $ 7.98. I left a $ 1 tip for good karma. I need it now and then. I wish it would have came with more broccoli but my bad for not asking. The chicken is great and I don’t think it’s as spicy as they made it out to be. It’s good though and too much food more me to eat in one sitting! I also think the nice lady thought I was crazy for asking for the spiciest flavor. Oh and why was Dr. Phil on the little T.V. Blah! Glad I wasn’t staying to eat there like some guy did. Small little place with great taste.

Oh Teriyaki Bowl, I bask in your convenience of being right on my journey home from work. Your spicy chicken is served both quick and tasty, at a price I can savor. Sure you may be like every other teriyaki joint in town, but that isn’t a bad thing — because I doubt you can screw up a teriyaki dish. But my little TB, we shared a wonderful moment last year. I was in the process of moving to Magnolia from Queen Anne hill and in between the joyous U-Haul trips, I decided to stop by and have you quench my famished tummy. Yes, I had chosen you as my first Magnolia meal and couldn’t have been happier. Sure there were tons of boxes that needed opening around me as I sat in my new living room — but I could care less. There were other things on my mind, and that spicy chicken was one of them. Now please, just bring back the free soda/pop/carbonated-beverage with each meal and you will earn yourself that extra star…
