I was fortunate enough to train with an experienced Master Herbalist from Europe, Marianne Sarella, for seven years. Her knowledge of medicinal herbs was astounding.

Although Marianne passed away several years ago, at the age of 102, I often wonder what she would think about how modern times have changed access to information. I often use modern research tools to confirm all of the anecdotal information she imparted to me, and the use of biology, scientific and ethnobotanical studies prove what she had been handed down for generations.

I have expanded on what she taught, and learned things she never knew to teach, but in the end it was her passion for healing and solving problems that gave me the most.

My goal is forever set on finding solutions for my clients. Whether it is skin complaints, or systemic dysfunction — solving the puzzle of what is wrong to bring people better health is what I live to do.
