Service was a lil slow, but I didn’t mind the wait! Great food, great prices, smiling staff, with a fun history! Yum!

The sandwiches are criminally good here in Seattle there are not a lot of places where you can get a thick juicy fatty dripping Cheesesteak of awesome that reminds you of the East coast but here they master the art. We are talking greasy spoon five items on the menu kind of place with the pinball machine but looks like it’s older than you are. You give your order about seven minutes later the dude in the kitchen is flying in and slamming and all the sudden this shoe see cheese stick or brewed brilliant culinary genius arrives with your name on it and assaults your nose with the taste of yummy Ness. Sink your teeth and savor the bites I usually get to one for now one for second breakfast one for third breakfast first dinner second dinner and third dinner there just that good.

The lady at the front was rude and their sandwiches taste like soap. Like if they just cleaned their grill and didn’t wipe it off before cooking on it. I only gave it two stars because the cheese fries were good.

I waited until literally dozens of folks who ordered after I did were served. Not a great first impression. Three or four people working the kitchen. This place is far from clean. It has no ventilation, so my clothes stink of cooking oil that should have been changed some time ago. This is after less than 30 minutes. I was shortchanged after I’d tipped, otherwise those two actions would have cancelled one another out. The sullen cashier said she would get the couple of dollars and was owed once someone got money out of the back, but no one attempted to do this. I will never be back here, period.

Great old neighborhood spot. They don’t try to appeal to any new crowds. They keep it classic. Love the atmosphere and the few old games. Cheesesteaks are great, I always get the pepper steak with fries. Not the best philly I’ve ever had, but the best in the area(now. Rip Fevre)

Friends of ours ate here the other night and they both loved it. I had to give a shot because it was near me in Beacon Hill! Just a mere 5 miles from my house. How could I NOTGO? Well, for starters, it’s a convoluted 5 miles. I know, I know… I get lost and can’t find my way out of a paper bag… I don’t know how to locate North or South… don’t judge me. Waze made me go down the I-5 when all I thought I had to do was go down MLK. Oh nooo… It’s on the corner of a very very busy intersection and I started to think I should’ve taken the LINK. There is a parking lot — HUZZAH! It had about 6 spaces and I really wouldn’t want to even try to think about looking for parking during peak hours. Inside isn’t too bad. I know some have complained about it being dirty, etc. After living in India, this place was freaking clean as a whistle. The girl at the counter was so nice and helpful — don’t understand what the complaints are about it. She made a suggestion for vegetarian hubby and he loved it. I’d definitely come back — I loved my philly cheesesteak with mushrooms! Although I will get a 6 inch instead of the 12 inch. That’s a whole lot of cheesesteak! My cheesesteak was perfectly seasoned and was not overly salty. WOOHOO!

I’ve tried three different places for Philly Cheesesteaks in Seattle: TOP, Tat’s and Calozzi’s. All three have claimed to be the best. And they’re all very delicious. I recommend all fo them. My favorite, though, is still TOP. I like it when menus aren’t really big because that usually means(in my experience) that they are good at what they make. When a menu is really big, they lose a bit of flavor. The menu at TOP is a decent size. I don’t know what those 1 and 2 star people are talking about. Sure, the place looks rundown and not entirely aesthetically pleasing, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t good. The staff is nice. The food is good, juicy, flavorful. I came here with a friend once, and we liked it so much we went back the next day and at there again. And they remembered us. This is comfort food. That’s what this place is. The cheesesteak fries are good, the sandwiches are good. It’s not fancy. They are filling and fairly affordable. Would I come here again? I think I’ve done that a few times already. :)

The sign on the outside says that it is the best sandwiches made but I say different as well as my friend. We both ordered a deluxe steak sandwich with a side of steak cheese frys. I did ask for more peppers and was charged for it. What we got was pathetic. They put less peppers on mine and more mayo. The mayo was so bad that I had to throw the bread away. While scooping out the meat and lettuce; I found that they did not put peppers in mine at all. The steak cheese frys were also tasteless. All you could taste was the nacho cheese that they poured on the top. In all, I was only able to eat a small amount of steak covered in mayo and nacho cheese. I will not be returning to that location ever again.

This is place does it right. It’s simple. And it’s perfect. Got the mushroom cheesesteak w cheese wizz. Cheesewizz was warm and plentiful. Meat was cooked perfect, seasoned perfect and was soft and tender. Bread was soft but strong enough to not deteriorate from the grease from the meat. Every bite was tender, juicy, cheesy, meaty deliciousness. The 2nd best thing was the cold Pepsi I washed it down with. This place is the only place I’ll go to.

I ordered a steak sandwich with mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, and mozzarella. It was kind of flavorless; I couldn’t really taste any of the ingredients, and although the cheese was white, it didn’t taste like mozzarella. The wings and fries were good, and the sandwich was texturally sound, but I think I’ll keep looking elsewhere for the perfect Philly cheesesteak.

Holy cow this place is delicious! To be fair, all I’ve ever had was their chicken cheesesteak but that’s really all I need to have because it’s amazing. I suggest waiting outside for your food though because it’s hella hot in there!

The Best Philly in Seattle! This place makes delicious sandwiches and cheese steak fries. Have been going to this place for 12 years and the flavor is just as robust and savory as it was all of those years ago. You simply must check out this place. Side Bar: I make no exaggerations about the food and I won’t grossly leave out another aspect. The restaurant is more of an «take out» establishment. If it’s a hot day you can even eat outside. But I wouldnt suggest dining in. Its not that comfortable. FYI

So I’m thinking cheesesteak sandwich for lunch, and I remember this place in the Valley. My brain goes«BAM» and think I’ll go here. Now this is the highlight of the moment. I was in and order Philly cheese, provolone and order of fries and coke. Now I’m waiting for my food and like It’s arctic tempature’s inside the building, I guess the owner can’t afford heat. So now that frost bite has set in I get my sandwich, fries and coke and sit. First off the sandwich has zero taste. I’m not sure if they over cooked it or have any idea that a cheesesteak needs flavor. I sit and ponder did that use spices or bad quality meat? Maybe over cook it a little but whatever they did I must say it was a Philly Steak that tasted like shoe leather. So here’s to freezing me and showing me what an old shoe tastes like. I will not venture back to a place call Original Philly’s when they can’t even make the damn sandwich correctly. Keep in mind I fly out to Philly’s for the cheesesteak weekend and I know what this sandwich is suppose to taste like. So when FRANK say’s it sucks it sucks!

Bring cash, that’s all they take. My friend got the steak hoagie. $ 8.99 full sammy. She said it was good. I however, got the chicken deluxe. I think the same price for full sammy. It kinda just tasted like mayo, so I tried the chicken and it was pretty bland. My husband got the steak deluxe and we haven’t tried it yet, but when we do, I’ll update my review. My friend and I walked there from my house about 15 mins. The sammy’s were pretty soggy when we got home, which isn’t there fault. Everyone complaining about the rude cashier… the place HARDLY looks like the kinda joint you’d expect it from. I recommend yall wanting that NEVER dine at Dick’s. Lol. The dude who brought out the food, cuz we were sitting outside, was super nice. Give a Lil, take a Lil.

My friend, son, and I were hungry while driving around exploring Seattle. We stopped here to test the advertising that claimed their cheesesteaks are the best. The broken down food truck in the parking lot was a bit off-putting and the place is kind of a pain to get into/out of, but we gave it a go. After the surly man behind the counter took our order(2 Deluxes and a pizza) and told us that they were out of straws and napkins. Everyone needed a bathroom break. That was… educational. It took quite a while to get our food and by the time it arrived, a very loud local group came in to watch whatever game was playing on the tv. Honestly, with the way things started, we weren’t optimistic about the food. At all. Something happened after we each took our first bite of cheese steak. Everything changed. Suddenly, the obnoxious people behind us was a harmonious chorus. The long-forgotten food truck seemed to shine with a little pride. A very friendly man asked us how our food was and all we could do was nod and keep stuffing our faces… in spite of having to wipe our hands on our pants. We didn’t like those pants anyway. These cheese steaks are freaking delicious. Seriously. They get away with the dumpy settings because they’re just ridiculously good. We were there on 4⁄25 and decided we need to make a monthly pilgrimage from Snohomish and Concrete.
