History

Established in 2015.

As the owner/​manager I started painting in 1992 in the Sierra Mtns, California. I learned what I know from well seasoned family paint business owners and haven’t stopped painting since. When I came back to Washington in 1989 it wasn’t long before I was painting again. I started handing out cards as The Painter dating back to 2004 or so. I’ve worked with many companies in Pierce and King county. Some for many years remodeling, painting and learning drywall and other construction facets like repairing roofs and siding. I stuck with painting and moved to Seattle around 2008. Painted many houses in Seattle, San Juan islands, Bellevue and so on. The Painter as a business opened July of 2014 as a sole proprietor. Divine Design LLC is the restructured business name now and I felt the name fit for many reasons and went with it. We are who we are and do what we do through the divinity of our making and get the privilege and honor to be a part of its design.
