I have a new house with a Buderus boiler in it. I called SPC and NW Mechanical for quotes to have it serviced and Seattle Plumbing was half the price of NW Mechanical. But the guy they sent was an hour late to a 9 a.m. appointment. He spent about 30 minutes answering my questions(I’m a first time radiant owner) which I really appreciated. Spent another 30 minutes figuring out which way water flowed in the pipes(I’m not kidding). Then said he had no idea how to service a Buderus and would have to come back after reviewing the«specs and warranty information.» He did recommend a couple of service items. Said someone would call me back to schedule a follow up. I waited 2 days and heard nothing, so I called. Got a machine. Left a message. Waited another 2 days. Called again and spoke with someone who said the ordered parts were in. I requested that when the guy came out to install the parts they could complete the service. He said he’d have to talk to the repairman because he didn’t know what I was talking about and would call me back. I waited 2 days and never heard back. So I went back to NW Mechanical. They sent out someone who knew what they were doing(he had a service checklist! Novel!). Oh, and those parts and services recommended by Seattle Plumbing? Not necessary. Last thing because they tried to sell me something I didn’t need and I’m irked about that. The guy that gave them the other 5-star review could be their owner, Evan Conklin. Just guessing there…
