The staff all around are always very polite, once you get to the pharmacy not even remotely close. My husband and I stopped in 10mins before they were closing to see if my husband could receive a flu shot, we had just heard that veterans could go to Walgreens and get it free of cost. With a huge attitude the pharmacist said we’re closing and it’s going to take too long to process. Being a corpsman in the service I knew very well that it takes but 2 seconds to give the shot and about 2 minutes to handle the paper work prior. We went to an other Walgreens and it took the pharmacist less then 5 minutes from start to finish. And mind you it was not busy at all both times. It wouldn’t have been a huge deal until she gave me her BS of it’ll take too long. We know pharmacist get a lot of crap, but don’t be crappy when we didn’t give you any reason to. We just wanted you to do what you get paid to do. Work ethics aren’t all the same I suppose. Shame.

The store it self and staff is friendly but the pharmacy staff has no friendly customer service skills. Every six months I have to fight with them to take two coupons for a expensive medication I am on. One is a manufacturer coupon from the actual prescription company the other is a discount coupon. They always tell me they can’t take both and I have to call corporate or wait till I go in a speak to someone who cares to try both. And what do you know they work ! This time the Pharmacist refused to try both she said I can’t use so again I have to call corporate and report my horrible situation
Why do I continue to go to this horrible pharmacy? It’s not right to drive to pick up your prescriptions with a sick feeling in your stomach knowing they might not honor any of them as many of the techs have attitude problems. It’s close to my home but I guess I am a glutton of punishment or have some other serious illness that keeps me coming here !! At least this time they sent my prescription to my doctor for a insurance override. Usually I have try to explain to them insurance isn’t covering my prescription it’s the discounts as they can’t figure that out and I just give up explaining as my insurance probably won’t cover but trying to appeal. I need help why do I keep going to this horrible unfriendly pharmacy !!!

I have been foolishly using this Particular Walgreens for a couple years now, it’s only redeeming quality is the fact that it’s close to my house, and 1 Pharmacist Tina is wonderful. If the rest of the pharmacy staff was as good and cared about their patients as Tina does this would be a 5 star review.
I know Pharmacy Staff are often faced with impossible situations out their control due to laws, safety concerns, and unrealistic expectations of patients/​customers. It is taking all of these factors into account that I write this review.
For a reference for those of you that might read this and understand the limits & restrictions placed on Pharmacy Staff. As a patient/​customer I see one doctor & one doctor only for highly regulated prescriptions, I have seen that practice since I was 2, I have been under the Monthly care of the same Doctor at that practice since 2006. This is important because it establishes a stable history for prescriptions, I get my scripts filled at the Walgreens whenever possible.
One more then 5 occasions if pharmacist besides Tina has been working I have been outright lied to about having prescriptions called in, my doctor has had to make multiple calls to get a single prescription released a couple days early. Just last night I had someone try to pickup prescriptions for me. It was 30 minutes before closing and the pharmacy tech lied about the time needed to fill the scripts. I knew how late it was it was exactly the day the refills were due, the 2 scripts I needed filled were not new to me nor were they dose changes, it was the same script I have gotten for roughly a year. No extra time to verify the scripts was needed. I ended up having to go to the 24 hour Walgreens in Ballard which is massively busier and they filled the scripts in less then 30 minutes with no struggle, no lies about time needed.

Absolutely horrible staff. This branch is particularly bad it seems. Avoid if possible.

I had one of the most helpful trips visiting this store. I was in search of Vicks Vapo-​Steam and was greeted by a clerk by the name of Danielle who quickly helped direct me to the correct aisle.
After not being able to locate the product, both Danielle and Vanessa witnessed my confusion and quickly came to assist me. Not only did they take time to search the entire section for the product, but they continued after they didn’t find it. Found it in the clearance section and luckily saved me a bunch of money.
Never had two Walgreens employees be so helpful. It truly was amazing haha. Especially great to see a manager in the floor, engaged with her customers.

I love this walgreens. The staff is so helpful and kind. They know where everything is in the store and are consistently polite. I really value their diverse workforce.

After seeing my doctor, I walked here with my dogs to fill my prescription. It’s less than a mile one way. One stone, two birds! I filled my prescription and walked my dogs at the same time! I am a FAN!
Well, the Safeway, 1 minute away from where I live, told me not to bring my dogs! I understand! For health reason, it’s not a good idea! Though, I should have told them they are therapy dogs (they heal my broken heart many many times, legit!) I was afraid Walgreens would give me that crap! But, hey, not bad! They were friendly with me and my dogs! The pharmacist even called them CUTE.
I was able to get my antibiotic in 20 minutes. However, due to the parade the following day, I still haven’t gotten my eye drop prescription. You know, it happens! At least, they notified me before I headed out!

This was pretty comical, as far as I’m concerned — pretty much like a reenactment of Dave Chappelle’s Popcopy sketch. My «hi there» to one of the female clerks was completely ignored (well, she rolled her eyes at me, so actually she did acknowledge me). After I waited patiently for a couple minutes for her to stop yapping at a coworker, I was delighted to see the manager walking over, and (forgive my schadenfreude), couldn’t wait to have him scold her for obviously failing to help me. Haha, joke was on me! This manager was equally uninterested in helping me, although he did manage to listlessly point toward the general direction of what I needed (blank DVDs — how hard is that)? That poor man looked so downtrodden… who knows what was going on behind the scenes there. Maybe some terrible love triangle?
**Most makeup worn by an employee at a non-​strip venue:
This same eye-​rolling lady was wearing shockingly garish war paint. It’s not like I was offended, I’m just surprised she gets away with that. Wait, no, I’m not surprised, I met her boss.
Yeah those are the only awards I can think of. The elderly checkout lady was really nice and friendly though, so they did have that going for them. Otherwise, 1 star!

This review is for the pharmacy since I don’t shop here otherwise. I appreciate that the pharmacists here are friendly and professional. If there is a problem, they get it resolved quickly even though they are often extremely busy.

It’s a Walgreens. I find it better organized than many other chain drugstores. Prices are usually decent & I always manage to buy some other random snack crap I had no intention of buying when I entered the place.
The practice I find most annoying at Walgreens is that their cashiers HAVE to offer you whatever «special» is at the counter ($ 3 for 3 snickers, $ 2 batteries, etc…) — totally awkward.

Friendly service but employees do not seem to go out of their way to help customers find anything; that is if you can find one and not the only one on the register for the line of customers waiting in.
A fair amount of choices though to keep the average shopper happy.

I mostly come here for my pharmaceutical needs. The parking can get really crazy and sometimes dangerous. I almost have been mowed down a few times. The pharmacy staff are generally really nice and they do try to work quickly. The store is laid out like any other Walgreens. The cashiers are alright, but some can get pushy trying to hawk their specials. A simple «No Thank You» doesn’t cut it for them. Really if I wanted 2 for 1.50 Pretzel M&M’s I would of grabbed it. This one lady was really pushing it at me one time. She was like, come on, it’s really cheap. I said I’m diabetic (which I am not really) and she profusely apologized. We know that seniors need a job too, but (sigh) if it takes 10 mins to process 2 items, then I don’t think this is the job for you, goodness forbid if I paid it in cash. The guy hawking those newspaper outside with the chick by his side can get annoying too. If I look like I am in a rush to pick up stuff, I really don’t want to be bothered. Ah, just another day in the life of Walgreens.

I typically only come here for the pharmacy, but you can sometimes find some good buys throughout the store.
The people at the pharmacy are helpful and respectful, and usually get your prescription out quickly. No complaints here.

I don’t normally shop at Walgreens, but with it being 2min or less walk from my apt. it’s very convenient! I went online first, to price check some intuition razors and eyeliner. I was satisfied with the prices, and walked on down. The store is pretty organized, and not that busy. So that was nice. When I got to what I was looking for the prices weren’t updated or changed and I was afraid to ask the clerk for some reason. I ended just purchasing the razors and a different brand for the eyeliner. When I got up to the register, I found that the prices changed once it was scanned. Sigh, only if the actual prices were posted near the product, I would’ve purchased the other eyeliner. Lessoned learned!

I can’t find the shoreline walmart that’s around 165^th st… But anyway, they are great. I went in last night and the cashier, Annie, was so sweet and nice. The store did not have the magazine I was looking for, an older people magazine, so she went to the back and searched through all the older mags that had already been pulled and found it! She is the best and so is the rest of the store. Thank you guys!

DID YOU KNOW WALGREENS ARE ALL ALIKE? lol Well, they are. And this one is proof of it.
The only difference among them is that they’re arranged differently.

In general, I love Walgreens. The welcoming red light on the city corner. Where else can you buy a t-​shirt, Hot Tamales candies, Rogaine, a toy, cat food and condoms and penicillin in one stop?
But this location closes early, is short on merchandise (especially hair care products) and has the MOST ANNOYING checkers. One lady with a shrill baby voice who loves to squawk and bellow on the paging system and another adorable senior citizen who looks mystified at the scanner and takes roughly 28 seconds per scan. Worse yet on two occasions, they simply did not fill my prescription with no explanation as to why? And last, no drive thru. Don’t be makin’ me walk, biatch.

No reviews yet? Hardly anyone reviews on Northgate businesses really, but this place, to me, is worthy of a whopping 4 stars. Why, you ask? Well, it has things I need/​like that I can’t find ANYWHERE else. For instance, my Covergirl makeup– my certain favourite items aren’t carried in most other places. Plus, about once a month, CG products are Buy 1 Get 1 Free. Also, the Loreal Sublime Bronzer for Medium Skin Tones… only a select few places carry this brand, and if they have it they only have the Light skin tone kind.
I use the Pharmacy here and always have ever since moving to Seattle in ’05. Actually… I think I used them back in my hometown too…
I just really enjoy their selection of everything– cards, toiletries, cosmetics, and even holiday stuff. Food is too expensive here, except for the occasional gallon of milk if we need some and I have to go here.
So, I’m here AT LEAST once a month, but usually about 4 trips/​month is average for me.
Staff is friendly, helpful, but they’re either old or have a thick foreign accent. It’s…cute.
