They don’t have a «fair» price compared with other liquor stores.

If you want to buy liquor in Washington, you have to get it from The Man. Big Brother holds the keys to the cabinet. And since the state runs the stores, the investment and care that many of the WSLCB stores take in selecting product is simply lacking. Unless you’re in the market for a major brand, you’re not going to find it… …but you will here. This Washington Liquor Store stocks a surprisingly wide variety of booze compared to your average spirited outpost. We tracked a bottle of Yamazaki 12 here(one of the last two in stock) and found a treasure trove of special order product on hand. Hibiki 12, Plantation Rum, Chinaco Tequila, a wide variety of local and regional spirits and all sorts of goodies. Finding good booze in this state can be really tough, the Queen Anne Liquor Store makes it a little easier.

Star #1 — If you give them money, they will give you liquor. Like family. Star #2 — Two blocks away. Star #3 — Friendly staff. Star #4 — Proud selection. Star #5 — It’s a liquor store!

Bravo for the selection of booze. Bravo for being open everyday. Bravo for being a very short distance from our hotel. But no mixers? Really, folks? Bah! I’ve stopped in a few times & it’s usually well stocked & offers plenty of options for various types of liquor. The prices seem pretty on-par & the staff is pretty helpful when you need them. It’s a small place, so it makes it easy to run in & out when you’re in a rush.

It’s within walking distance so, Yay! Decent selection of various spirits but I do miss the huge liquor stores in my former city of Houston(Love you, Spec’s!). For the most part, however, they’ll have what you need and the staff is helpful.

What more than a great selection of booze do you really need at a Liquor? Well, for a state run store, staff that wants to help and service on par with private industry is a nice plus! These folks know their inventory and can and do make recommendations if you want to try something different or are not sure what is appropriate. And being open 7 days a week except holidays is awesome! They are also seasonally aware both in terms of what they stock and during New Years, they had an extra register to help keep those long lines not so long! Also, they also have monthly mark downs on regular stock. If you need liquor in particular, this is a great stop and the wine is convenient.

Decent as «State» run liquor stores go in this«Nanny» state. They have a decent selection and looks to be well run. I’d love to get the state out of controlling the vices and dictating to us what we should and should not do. But that’s for a rant for another time and subject. But yes it’s clean and stocked with a decent selection of goodies. Only get’s 3 stars due to it being state run.

This store is great. It is what is says it is, a liquor store. Great location right next to all the grocery stores. I like to park at Larry’s and walk over and then buy groceries. It’s a fully stocked liquor store with a great staff. They actually will talk to you and give their opinion on products. They really make this place more than just a state run store. They have some great selection in vodka and scotch. And tons of other fun drinks. Even Ouzo. Though no everclear in WA people, you need a license to actually buy it. And they sell that stuff at gas stations in Arizona!
