Wax On Spa

Horrible Service! I was scheduled for an appointment for Saturday, that i made on Monday. One hour before my appointment they called to cancel. How rude, how unprofessional. i’d been waiting all week for this appointment and they cancelled. Get your act together!!!

I had an appointment with Jennifer this week and she was wonderful. I’m not usually good with small talk but she had me laughing and talking the entire time, really made me feel comfortable. She has magic hands and somehow made this the least painful waxing ever. The salon was clean and welcoming with great products. Wax On is my new spa!

This place is the best! They have great happy hour specials and I can usually always get an appt in short notice.
A few tips:
— the entrance is in the alley west of California Ave (door shared with 8 limbs yoga)
–there’s a 3hr free parking lot in back (entrance off of 42^nd)

Love this place! Very cozy. Brandi did an amazing job on my eyebrows. I will definitely be returning.

I made a Unilocal account just so I could review this place. It was my first time getting waxed and the lady was amazing, I wish I could remember her name, but she was very nice and professional, will definitely be coming back!

Would highly recommend this place. First time getting a Brazilian and she totally walked me through the process and continually made sure I was comfortable. Very professional place.

I’ve been to the other wax on locations, but this was my 2^nd time here at this location and this one is my favorite spot! I don’t remember the name of the lady who did my first wax, but today I had Christa and she was amazing! Very sweet and friendly and she was gentle and took her time. If you have trouble finding where they’re at they are behind the alley way of cupcake royale! Right next to the matador door! Just follow the signs and you will find it :) I definitely recommend coming to this location! Way more street parking.

First visit with Amber was phenomenal. She knew what she was doing and I was in and out in less than 15 min! So glad to have found somewhere trustworthy of such a task. The entrance itself is the only tricky part. Enter in the rear for 8 Arms Yoga and follow it ALL the way up. Once there, pass through their lounge area and it’s the first closed door on your left. Cannot recommend this salon enough.

Hands down my favorite place to pamper myself! My brows and lashes have never looked better! I have been seeing Amber for about three months to get my eyebrows waxed and tinted, and more recently my eye lashes tinted. She does an AMAZING job. I had never had anything tinted before and was a little bit nervous — Amber explained the process thoroughly, answered all my questions, and put me totally at ease. My eyebrows are perfectly shaped and tinted — Amber picked the perfect shade of tint — it looks totally natural. No more eyebrow pencils necessary — that is one less thing to worry about in the morning. I felt so comfortable after my first eyebrow experience that I totally trusted Amber to tint my lashes at my next appointment (which I had never had done before and was nervous about). I loved it instantly! I often go to work without any mascara on now, which I never would have done before. People still think I am wearing mascara even though I’m not! And I love the unique, fun vibe at Wax On. I love the edgy humor they use in their advertising, stickers, etc. Amber is awesome — she has a great personality and is a lot of fun to talk to during your procedure, and she is really good at what she does. I really look forward to my monthly Saturday at Wax On!
