I’ve only been in once but they were kind. A little shy at first. My nails and the lady next to me looked good. Friendly conversation. Wasn’t rushed. A relaxed atmosphere. Not as cheap as NK but more of a spa atmosphere. They also do hair. She told me which hair services she was good at and what she needed more practice at but there were other people there who would be great. Chuckled and said she wouldn’t lie to me. I like that.

I was very nervous about going into a hair salon blind for highlights. Since moving to Seattle 4 years ago I haven’t seen the same person twice for a haircut and colour. I did have to wait for my appointment, about 30 mins, but the second Jenny started foiling my hair I felt in good hands. Then Heidi did my cut and my hair hasn’t felt this great in years. What a pleasant surprise to find a salon in my neighborhood that listens to what you want. There can seem to be a language barrier but it is strictly pronunciation. I was well taken care of and will be back!

My husband needed to cut his hair for an interview and having just moved into the neighborhood, I made a call to Westwood to make an appointment. They picked up the phone quickly and we got an appointment on the same day. I personally didn’t enter the salon(I was shopping at Target) but my husband was pleased with the service, it took a lot faster than expected and it costs $ 16 for men’s haircut with shampoo, half the price of what it typically costs him in Boston. We were pleased with the hair cut, the convenience and speed at which he got his haircut. Will be visiting this neighborhood salon from now on.

Sadly although these are very sweet people that work here, my last experience was terrible. I gave two stars because they are nice and my eyebrow waxing was okay. There were two small children, very cute but rambunctious, one threw a bottle of nail polish and it broke open in the floor. I think it is great if you can bring your children to work but they should be quiet and coloring or something. It’s not very relaxing to have loud kids running around. On my pedicure, they accidentally caused a bleeding abrasion on the side of my foot. When they saw it, they asked me what happened and I told them the pumice stone did it. They poured the cleaner they use for the implements on the open cut; although I appreciate the effort in preventing infection, it burned pretty bad. For my manicure, my nails were very short so several of my fingertips have small slices from the file that was used. However she did do an extra coat to make sure I was happy with the shade of the color. My daughter asked for a design on her big toenails; they handed her the sample board to look at, and while she was looking at it, they put the top coat on and said it was too late to do the design. The last time I asked for a design they did the same thing to me, so not really sure they do them at all. On another visit, I paid for my friend’s pedicure, and she paid for her manicure. They thought I was paying the entire tip, but my friend was tipping also. They asked me if that was all I was going to tip. Even though I believe in tipping I do not believe a customer should be questioned on the amount of the tip(I usually do 20%) So although they are very convenient for me, I am hoping I can find someone else I like for eyebrow waxing because for nails I will not return.

This place looks fancier on the outside than it is on the inside. They do a decent job. My daughter and son have had haircuts here — and I can tell the stylist really enjoyed her job. The thing is: they were making fun of me and teasing about me, because I could not get comfortable in the chair. I had a back injury, and was squirming all over. This was during a manicure/pedicure. So, in sum an average place.

The staff are pretty helpful and friendly, and the hair color I got was good, but the cut, or specifically the way my stylist shaped it after the coloring, was… weird. Kind of 1960s big-hair poof crossed with Javier Bardem in No Country For Old Men. I went home and spent a while trying to make it look like something from this decade, and finally succeeded, but it was enough to make me wary of going back. Also got a gel manicure which looks good and has lasted a good while. There’s always a bit of a language barrier at this place, which I guess comes with the territory. My only other complaint would be that another salon customer was letting her two loud kids run around and make a lot of noise, and no one bothered to try to distract them or do anything about it. That’s more the fault of the mom but it would be nice if the salon employees would try to give them a coloring book or something.

Good pedi from friendly staff. Good enough. I was content with their work on my feet.

This place is cool when they do decide to be open according to their schedule. This is the second time I have driven all the way to the store only to find people inside but the door locked well before(2 hours) closing time on their schedule. I’d call ahead to make sure they will be open when you get there. I won’t bother coming all the way here again.

I love this place! I lived in downtown for 7+ years and I was used to going to the same two spots. They were convenient and I had a great relationship relationship with the staff. When I moved to West Seattle, I had a hard time finding a new«favorite spot» and after a few bad experiences, I found this place. It’s been almost 5 years and I am still in love with them. The staff is friendly and they take the time to get to know you. I am usually in a rush, so they go out of their way to squeeze me in and provide me with quality service. The place is cute and very clean. I strongly recommend you check it out.

Still very happy with this place for nails a couple years later. I’ve been getting regular compliments on my manicures since I started doing the shellac. They recently added a hot stone massage in your pedicure(ahhhh). Tram does a fantastic job, very detailed and meticulous. I have sensitive skin and need to ask for some minor adjustments to their normal routine, Tram is super nice about it, very sweet and respectful. I also like that the place is well ventilated and the atmosphere is pleasant.

So disappointed. A friend and I were having a day of pampering, and came here to start it all off. We got mani/pedis, and the ladies were really nice. They did the hot stone massage which was the best part of the whole thing. Other than that, I really wish we hadn’t gone. I asked them to keep my nails square, especially since that’s how my nails grow naturally. The lady agreed, and then rounded my toes and squounded my nails. She also cut my big toenail too far down on one side and its lopsided. Boo. When I woke up the next morning I noticed the clear polish on my nails was cracked on almost every nail, and that my nail designs on my thumbs were cracked and chipping off as well. I asked my friend, and she said her nails were chipping as well. Overall, I’m very unhappy with the whole experience. I would hope to have been listened to when I have a specific request, and I know manicures are hard to maintain, but they should definitely last more than 16 hours. I will not be coming back, and I suggest you save your money and go somewhere else.

I’ve been to this salon before and wasn’t overly impressed with them, but went back due to it’s close proximity to my house. I will never go back! The woman who did my gel cut deep into my cuticles on my ring and middle finger(see pic) and they were in pain for the next three days and I’m pretty sure were infected :(

I have been getting my mani and pedi here for a year and love how clean and great they are. I decided today to try them for a cut and have found Denise, the BEST ever!!!

Unfortunately, after two plus years of frequenting, I am done. The management here is personable(only making kind chit-chat), but not professional. The manger here rushes her girls, and doesn’t even have the decency to change out the coffee filter.(I have found on numerous occasions that the drink area is either soiled, or that the filter has MOLD.) This place is also very drafty. Back when I first came here, the manager did one of my pedicures, and was so rough on my feet,(I told her to be more gentle a few times) I began to bleed. Not only was I told it was my fault for moving, but the overall process was rushed. The manager(on my last visit) also asked me to move, because two(VERYRUDE) customers wanted to sit together while getting pedicures. I had to take my feet out of the water, dry them, and wait a very long time to get my pedicure done. The manager should have never asked, but she at least said she was sorry. I have been a very supportive, and patient customer for more than two years. You should never treat a customer better than another just because they want to sit together… I did tell her it was okay, but I only did it so that she may not rush my pedicure out of resentment. Not only did I have to wait, but the two that replaced me did nothing but loudly complain about their day, and were quite narcissistic, even after they had their services done. Denise, Heidi, and Trang(I think that is her name, she is there most of the time) are by far my favorite ladies here. If it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t ever had come back after that incident. I will miss you all, and may come in for an eyebrow wax here and there, but not by your manager. Please support the girls here, they are worth the work they do. I feel very bad about posting this, but the manager needs to re-think her approach, and treat her employees more fairly. I have seen a few of the girls go on maternity leave, and at least they get time off to take care of their children. I do admire that. However, the materials that they use are rough, the technique is rough, and the chairs they have are made for shorter people, not to mention the massaging option is quite rough on your back. I like the color options, and the availability of shellac(which is pricey!), but the overall experience over the years has left a bad taste in my mouth. Please consider bringing a warmer, and more quality experience to your customers, and treat them equally. –Cobina

I did a walk in for a manicure and wax on a Tuesday morning. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There was a bit up up-saling, but not to an obnoxious degree. The lip and eyebrow wax were done with great attention. The manicurist was thorough and I loved the results. There was a language barrier with the manicurist, which I don’t mind because I don’t really need to chit chat, and there were TVs on, which I liked for passing the time. Already have another appointment scheduled.

Less than pleased with this salon. To be fair, I can’t rate the service as I didn’t receive any. I went in for a hair appointment and waited twenty five minutes and no one said a word to me. I ended up leaving and going to a salon a half mile away and was helped immediately. I wouldn’t waste my time when there are far better places close by.

For the last three years I have been coming here mainly for hair coloring but I have also had shellac, pedicures, acrylics, hair cuts and hair straightening. They do a pretty good job if you tell them exactly what you want. I haven’t had a bad experience. I had my first pedicure here and loved the massage chairs. It was a very relaxing experience except when they started working on the bottom of my feet. Whoa was that ticklish, haha. However, it does get really busy during the summer time if you want a pedicure, so be sure to call first.

I was in quite the need for a pedicure and since I work nearby I decoded to go in early and get my toes done. I waited for a about 5 minutes in the front because the lady who greeted me Wasn’t very clear on where I should have gone to wait. After a few minutes of looking at some nail polishes she directed me towards the back where the manicures/pedicures were being done. I then chose what color I wanted(opi’s there’s a party in my cabana) and began my pedicure. The water was too hot but the technician quickly adjusted it to my liking. The pedicure was really nice. She took the time to do an amazing quality job. The facility was really clean and sanitary. She disinfected all of the tools before she used them and although her English was limited she tried to make conversation, unlike so many other nail places where the technicians English is also limited just flat out ignore you and talk to their coworkers in a different language. The pice was typical fore most nail salons(the pedicure was 25 $ plus tip) but I feel it was definitely worth the price in comparison to other cheaper nail salons that’s I’ve been to in the past that aren’t even half of the quality this place is. In the end will I be returning? Definitely. But honestly there wasn’t anything extraordinary about this place except that it seemed more professional than most shoddy nail salons.

This place was horrible. Although I lived nearby I was a bit weary about going here. It never seemed really busy but to be fair I only walked by during the afternoon. The people that worked in there looked miserable but again, this was only an assumption. I was in a rush one day and finally walked in to get a mani/pedi. The air was thick with the smell of chemicals, probably from both perm solution and nail products. I got the usual«5 more minute» crap you hear at all asian salons, and it ended up to be 10. It’s fine, I was a walk in. The English was pretty limited with the staff so any sort of conversation was slim to none. I picked my color and so began the mani/pedi torture. Relaxing was not even in my thoughts. The girl that was doing my nails was nice, but seemed to be doing my nails in a hurry. Her work was shoddy! She kept looking out the door like she was waiting for someone. She also nicked me a couple times when working on my cuticles. To the point where I bled(which I’m now worried about because their utensils were pretty much jammed in little cups sitting in drawers so I definitely question the cleanliness. In addition she didn’t ask me how I wanted the length and shape of my nails, just proceeded to do a half ass file on each nail and assuming I wanted it square– lucky guess. I paid $ 35 plus tip for the service. I was surprised that it was super cheap, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. The bottom line? I will never go back. My cuticles look worse than before I got them done here and my polish started lifting the day after I got them done!
