Established in 1981.

I’ve been a pianist all of my life and established the Marsha Wright Piano Studio in 1981. I’ve been teaching classical piano lessons to adults in the Seattle area since 1990.

My high school piano lessons were a distant memory when I started up again with lessons at the Marsha Wright Piano Studio. The pieces assigned are always a little more difficult than I think possible at first, which usually turns out to be a good way of making progress.
Marsha has a great eye (and ear) for detail and focuses on little things, one at a time, until you’ve managed to put a difficult piece together and have it (at least nearly) ready to perform.
I’ve enjoyed learning more about composers like Mozart, Haydn, and Shumann, have developed a love for playing Moszkowski and Brahms, and have enjoyed meeting other aspiring pianists through lessons here. Highly recommended.
