History
Established in 1930.
The Resort has been open since 1930, the dining facilities have varied through out the history of the resort. The Ledges Pub is built in the footprint of the old Clipper building that was moved to a new location in 1998.

Lighthouse Keeper
Bob Smith is the proprietor and lighthouse keeper of Sebasco Harbor Resort. Bob started his career in the hospitality industry in Maine 30 years ago as a night porter at the Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland, Maine. Bob purchased Sebasco Harbor Resort in May of 1997 and has invested over $ 12 million in renovations since that time. He is also the founder and principal of Northeast Hospitality and Kellory Management Corporation. Bob has served as President of the Southern Midcoast Maine Chamber, Chair of the Maine Tourism Commission, President of New England Inns and Resorts Association. Bob serves as a member of the American Hotel and Lodging Association (AH & LA) Resort Committee and represents Maine on the AH & LA board. He is Co-Chair of the Governor’s Nature-Based Tourism Initiative Task Force, and is an active committee member of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Bath and Brunswick.
