Frances from AMS was incredibly helpful in making our music choices and guiding us through what we needed. Our DJ, Alex, was an absolute blast… we couldn’t have asked for anyone better to have at our wedding!!! Thank you so much Alex!

I had a great experience working with AMS for my Sonoma wedding this past May. They coordinated a jazz trio for our ceremony which was wonderful, as well as PA system for the ceremony and some up-​lighting for our indoor dancing space. Frances was a pleasure to work with and was very responsive and helpful during the entire planning process. She even personally stepped in to serve as our DJ/​MC during dinner, since we realized that our band wouldn’t provide music until after dinner. Overall, it was a great experience and I have no reservations in recommending AMS for your wedding!

AMS was absolutely fabulous as our DJ/​audio masters for our wedding this past weekend. These guys were by far my easiest wedding vendors to work with.
The online planning tool made everything really simple: list your must-​haves, maybe-​haves, and dont-​plays. It asked simple questions about the flow of the ceremony, so the DJ would be prepared to know what’s going on. And then they followed it all up with a phone call! Just making sure everyone is on the same page. Perfect.
I was expecting a DJ, but we got Alex, who is basically a master of ceremonies, way more than just a DJ. He worked with my brother who played guitar for our ceremony to make sure he was amplified *just* enough. His music knowledge is great, and he played to NB our tastes beautifully. But on top of that, Alex kept everything going smoothly and checked in with us (enough to feel comfortable, not enough to be annoying on a busy busy day). I know he worked a wedding the day before ours too, but he was just full of smiles and energy the whole day and into the night.
Alex is also just a really nice guy who wanted to make our day go as smoothly as possible and worked hard to make sure it did. Kudos to Alex, we’d hire you and AMS for any other event!

Joe was my sales contact and he was extremely responsive! I love a fast email reply! He was easy to get a hold of for phone chats too.
The online planning form was very easy-​to-​use, and Joe gave me great advice when I was not certain what I wanted.
AMS provided sound for our ceremony and our guests reported everything was easy to hear. He put a body-​mic on our minister and had a hand-​mic for readings. I was pleasantly surprised that our minister’s body mic was about to pick up each of us saying our vows so that we did not need to hold microphones ourselves.
Our wedding was amazing!!! Rick DJed our event and got everyone dancing. He was wonderful at reading the crowd. Rick also read cues from me (e.g. wrapping up the Hora after my guests seemed circle-​danced out!).
We also got our photo-​booth from AMS and guests enjoyed it very much! I was having so much fun at our wedding that I forgot to use it.
People had a blast at our wedding and a lot of that is due to AMS!!!

We are both sticklers about our music but glad we had AMS to help us! How organized and they made sure they got it right and how we wanted.
Rick did our wedding at vine hill house and did an amazing job! He did everything we asked, had great energy, and help to make the day a complete success!
The planning process with the online database and 1^st meeting with Frances was also helpful. She would always respond to any questions we had within a day or two! They even have a «do not play» section which is amazing… Working weddings a lot of my life there are a few songs I don’t need to hear again ;)
Very organized and we didn’t feel nervous about it because of all the emails, planning forms and talks beforehand.

We just got married on June 11, and I have to say that AMS did an amazing job! Frances kept me up to date with all the details and was helpful the entire way from start to finish. Raul and Mindy (DJ/​MC) were just fabulous, they kept the guests entertained and kept the dance floor moving!

When I think about past weddings I have been to, I remember the music and it makes or breaks a wedding. AMS delivered above and beyond for our wedding this past weekend. From the beginning, their music planning tool was simple and easy to use. During the reception, the DJ came up to me and made sure we were happy with everything which I though was great. I had specific songs I wanted and then just wanted the DJ to judge the crowd. Our guest danced all night long including my husbands 85 year old grandma. AMS made our wedding a night to remember and I can’t thank them enough.

For an absolutely fantastic, seamless and fun entertainment experience hire AMS for your next event. We spoke to Joe, set up our song list/​genre request in under approx 30m and Canyon came and delivered every request and every twist and turn of the event. Delivered more than expected with experience, skill and absolute charm. Couldn’t have asked for more, thank you Joe and Canyon!

We had a great time at our wedding! Rick was our DJ and was SO friendly and personable, he was excited and made working with him easy. There were a couple hiccups with the music and that’s why I’m giving it 4 vs. 5, but overall it was a fantastic experience!

We booked AMS Entertainment for our wedding in April at Cornerstone Sonoma and could not be more pleased with our selection. One of the things about Cornerstone Sonoma is that it is a large venue with a lot of moving pieces. The wedding ceremony is typically held in one location, the cocktail hour is held in another location, and the dinner is in a separate spot at the venue. That being said, AMS had their hands full in ensuring that all of the distinct locations were fully set up.
On the day of the event, Alex and Tyler arrived on time and had everything dialed in. Despite unexpected changes on the day of the wedding, the crew at AMS responded like pros and ensured that there was no change to the quality of our event, which we greatly appreciated. They kept the music true to our style, paid close attention to our wishes, and went above and beyond to ensure that our day went as planned. They did not miss a beat and kept the fun going all night long. AMS kept us on schedule and made sure to communicate with us throughout the night to ensure that everything was to our liking.
Francis helped us through the music planning process before the wedding and we found her to be attentive, kind, and extremely responsive. The online library/​planning tool that AMS uses was super easy to navigate and made the process stress-​free.
Although there are many DJ/​Entertainment companies in the area, we could not be more pleased that we selected AMS Entertainment. In the wedding business relationships/​knowledge of the wedding venue are both very important. AMS has both of these things down and it was their strong relationships with our other vendors, great communication, and knowledge of how our venue was setup that made the entire wedding run smoothly. We would highly recommend AMS Entertainment to anyone, and would use them again without hesitation for another event. They are the gold standard in entertainment!

They were really great — the woman who we worked with beforehand was super responsive and helpful (Frances).
And the DJ who worked our event (Alex) was really helpful and stayed very true to our requested song list, which was exactly what we wanted.
The one slight challenge was navigating their tool to pick out songs ahead of time — a lot of what we wanted was not in there, but Frances was fine with us just emailing the list, which was super.

My (now) husband and I had AMS DJ our wedding! They were on top of it from the very beginning and everyone we spoke to at the office were helpful and responsive. The database that they use is super easy and fun to fill out. Alex was our DJ and he was outstanding! He really got a feel for our vibe and went the party need to get going we was on top of it. He was non intrusive while still checking in with us throughout the event. I would recommend Alex for any party! Overall AMS knows exactly what they are doing and they made the whole experience easy and stress free.

We had an excellent experience working with AMS for our wedding on 4.29.16. France’s did a fantastic job at capturing every single detail of what we had wanted and our DJ executed perfectly.
Our grand introduction into the ceremony was absolutely perfect thanks to our DJ and there were bodies on the dance floor all night long.

We had a great experience working with AMS for our wedding on 4/​22, our DJ was Alex and he was fantastic. They were recommended to us by our venue (Vine Hill House) and we were so glad that we went with them.
They were extremely responsive and communicative leading up to the wedding and had a great online system for us to load all of the songs that we wanted to be played during the dancing in advance. We also gave them a playlist for the songs we wanted played during the happy hour and dining. One thing I really liked about AMS was that they were clear that they didn’t have egos about wanting to mix in their favorite songs and that they just wanted to do whatever we wanted. My wife is very particular about music and had a very specific set of songs she wanted for every portion of the evening and Alex executed it perfectly and did a great job mixing and coordinating the audio for the whole night.
We were truly pleased with AMS and highly recommend to anyone planning their wedding!

AMS was wonderful to work with. Planning in advance of our wedding was a breeze with Frances. We had a custom cut song for our first dance, and AMS was able to accomodate. The music planning system is also a piece of cake to work with.
Alex did a great job DJ’ing. Everyone was on the dance floor all night having an absolute blast! Couldn’t have been any better.

After our live music choice fell through I contacted AMS short notice and they said no problem, happy to accommodate. Sam was awesome with getting the details and following up. AMS did everything they promised and more. I relied on their expertise, so glad I did, they really know their stuff.
AMS arrived on time and were set up and ready to go well in advance of party guests arriving.
Tyler was awesome, what a great guy. Kept cool under pressure, kept the party going and looked good doing it. Everyone had a great time. I will be recommending AMS to all.

We had a great experience with AMS from the start. After our first video conference with Joe we knew we’d be in good hands with AMS. He was awesome and he has great customer service skills! We also worked with Frances on the details once we got a bit closer to wedding day. She was super helpful and so, so nice.
Then came the big day and Alex was our DJ. Alex was WONDERFUL! He was so nice and really calm when he was talking to us, which we really appreciated. He also played all the songs we wanted to hear and kept the partying going on the dance floor. We had a lot of guests come up to us and let us know that the DJ/​music were awesome.
Thank you Alex, Joe, Frances and everyone at AMS! We had a very memorable and fun wedding ;) We cannot recommend AMS highly enough!

We used AMS a few weeks ago for our wedding at Vine Hill House in Sebastopol and couldn’t have been more impressed. From the beginning the team at AMS made us feel like we were in good hands. Frances was amazing and helped set up our initial meetings and got to know what we were looking for. We really enjoyed using the online planning tool that AMS offers. It allowed us to ensure that all of the songs that we wanted played were there and helped in the timing off the evening. Our DJ was Rick and he was fantastic. He was not only a great DJ and kept the dance floor going, but was also a great MC for the evening which allowed the event to go off without a hitch. He was extremely nice, and was a pleasure to work with. Many of our guests commented on how great the music was.
For the ceremony and cocktail hour we also booked a violinist and guitarist through AMS. They did a fantastic job, and the 80s classics we selected played on strings was a really fun way to start the evening.
We would highly recommend AMS and Rick for your next event.

My experience with AMS is «A-​OK» which is why I’m giving them 3 stars. I think what it comes down to is that the model they use differs from what I receive by other DJs. Will was very nice and engaging. However, he told me that they do not assign a DJ until 1 – 2 months out from your wedding. Personally, I’d like to know who will DJ my wedding before booking, but AMS has a level of service that they want you to consider you’re not hiring a DJ, but a company. As you can see by many other stellar reviews, that’s a fine model for most people. They don’t guarantee because they want to evenly distribute work for their DJs and they said you never know what could happen closer to the date. However, you could say that with any vendor you hire, you just hope they have a solid backup plan.
I was very skeptical so Will had me talk to Alex. Although Will couldn’t promise Alex for me, due to their business model, I agreed to talk to Alex. Alex was very nice and I loved him. He told me he works full time for the company, and that him and Will are the only ones that do. He said I could reach out to him on his cell to follow-​up. I told Will I liked Alex a lot, but I was again hesitant since it wasn’t guaranteed. Will came back to me and said they may be able to make an exception and allow me to pick Alex.
I texted Alex asking if he’d be willing to meet my fiancé, since Alex said I could reach out to him directly. I didn’t hear back from Alex, but instead, an email from Will telling me if I wanted to meet Alex, it would cost $ 200/​hr and have to be at their corporate office during business hours, and that maybe the model they want for their DJs isn’t right for me. Will also informed me Alex doesn’t work full-​time which contradicted what Alex told me on the phone. I thought that was a little off-​putting to charge so much to meet in person, which is honestly, what a lot of other DJs do for free, prior to booking. It was also odd for me that Alex said I could contact him on his cell, but then didn’t respond to me and had Will respond, instead.
So here’s the lowdown. AMS is a professional company, but you can’t pick or meet your DJ prior to booking AMS. If you’re okay with that, cool. If not, this company isn’t right for you.
