Bohemian Stoneworks

I have had the fortunate opportunity to work with Bohemian Stoneworks on a few kitchen remodeling projects.
One of my projects included a raised bar with concrete legs that required the measurements to be extremely precise. Patrick’s crew did an amazing job from template, fabrication and installation. It looks seamless!
Patrick is a true artist and it shows in each and every project he works on.
I would highly recommend visiting their facility in Sebastopol.

I worked with Patrick and Bohemian Stoneworks on a project I coordinated for one of the local schools. It was a very unusual project requiring both great precision, and innovative, creative thinking. In addition, it had moments of confusion in coordinating the conceptual artist’s concerns, the school’s needs, and the realities of stonework. … not to mention scheduling! Throughout it all, Patrick and a couple of the assistants I met (I was the project originator and ‘contractor’) were all equally gracious, competent, and time-​sensitive, achieving or surpassing all estimated timelines. How often can you say you’ve heard THAT in the contracting world?!

We used Patrick at Bohemian Stoneworks to provide and install concrete bar and island tops in our kitchen. After receiving several recommendations for Patrick from friends and our general contractor, we went to see him in Sebastopol where he gave us a tour of his shop, showed us work in progress, and we saw the very beautiful pieces in his showroom. It was immediately apparent that he has been doing this for many years and is a master of his craft.
Working with Patrick is a pleasure. First and foremost, he’s a really nice guy. I was certain I was driving him crazy trying to precisely match the color and look we wanted. I can be very difficult, just ask my wife… Patrick took the time to experiment with pigments and changed the concrete mix to contain finely crushed glass instead of sand, which resulted in exactly what we wanted.
Now that we had the color and finish selected, he came out to the house and took the final measurements and made templates. We also went over all the fine details, such as height of drop-​down sides, edge radius, mounting for plumbing fixtures, etc. Within 2 weeks they were installed and absolutely perfect.
Everyone who sees his work comments on how good it looks. Those people familiar with precast concrete have said it’s the nicest work they’ve ever seen. I can’t recommend Patrick and Bohemian Stoneworks highly enough.
