This is the worst DR office I’ve dealt with ever. I had been warned about an intense personality of Dr. Holland by the person that referred me by I needed to be treated. I was happy because they were able to fit me in due to a cancellation. I got it confirmed with my insurance company that they could bill direct. Then the office manager calls to say she spoke to someone in my insurance co and they can’t bill them or aren’t approved. She wanted to reschedule me and I told her not to, that there was no reason to and she asked me to call my insurance rep back which I did. My insurance rep is waiting for a call with DR. Holland’s tax ID number in order to avoid any payment delays. I called back DR. Holland’s office and they said I’m no longer on the schedule and took me off with a message I never received. I spoke to the office manager who was extremely rude and refused to put me back on the schedule or contact my insurance rep and then proceeded to make strange accusations about my «intentions» –my extensions to receive treatment and keep my scheduled appointment and make sure they get paid the $ 250 – 350 they charge for one visit? I’m in pain and these people are completely out of integrity, not worth $$$$ to be treated like crap. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life & extremely rude. Do not go there!!! They care about dollars and they own ego, not your health.

I brought my wife for treatment with Dr Holland for the first time nearly 15 years ago.
She had been diagnosed with carpal tunnel in both wrists and the doctors were intent on surgery. I thought it strange that all 4 nerves would flare up instantaneously but no one would entertain anything but carpal tunnel surgery.
One visit to Dr Holland and he said something similar to «I think it is your back right here between your shoulder blades». He proceeded to apply some pressure point therapy for 15 – 20 minutes and when she sat up she was beaming. The pain and swelling that she had endured for 6 months was gone!
The symptoms started to come back a few days later and so we had repeat appointments 2X week, then 2X month then every 3 months then once every couple years during the ensuing years.
One thing that I have noticed is the doctor does talk about a variety of subjects as he manipulates the arms and legs searching for root cause and then as he applies pressure point therapy for 15 minutes. This helps to distract the patient and let her relax during the therapy.
I can imagine that a person with little or no intuition /​perception might think this was wasted babbling and wasted money. But the purpose is definitely to get the patient distracted from the therapy and the cost of office visit is certainly not by the hour (someone actually said that?). The Dr actually will spend as much time as is needed without charging anything different.
I will not comment on office décor, electronic equipment, or any of the other issues some people may have. My wife and I are extremely pleased with the caring, intuition and expertise with which Dr Holland has treated her pain.

Dr. Holland is a wonderful person who saved me from a life of chronic pain. I had seen numerous specialists of all types over a 10 year period, seeking to resolve serious head pain, which sidelined me 3 – 4 days a week. I was given numerous drugs and attained no improvement in my basic condition. After the first visit with Dr. Holland, I experienced great relief of symptoms and was essentially pain free in about 8 months. I went from taking several «big league» pain killers each day to not being able to recall the last time I took a single Tylenol. My life is transformed. I only wish I had met him sooner, when my son was still young. Dr. Holland has a remarkable blend of Osteopathic manipulative skills and a unique intuition.

I saw Dr. Holland in Sept of 2013 for Chronic hip pain and also in February 2014 with tendonitis of the hand and wrist.
With my hip, I was told by Kaiser I’d need hip surgery within two years or so. The pain was so bad that it was difficult to sleep well. Since my September visit, his treatment and exercise suggestions, I have been without severe pain, totally manageable without pain relievers.
My tendonitis went on for two weeks of severe aching pain even though I’d been icing and doing NSAIDS and could not use my hand, my treatment in February with Dr. Holland, I walked out of the office pain free. I was and have been totally in disbelief I can use and have no pain or tenderness with this hand since. I have a great deal of physical labor using machines for mowing brush and weeds that are heavy and do cause stress on the limbs. I’ve used these machines since. With the exercises I’ve been off the NSAIDS and pain free since my treatment with Dr. Holland.
I find this physician totally capable and talented.
