History

Established in 1998.

Originally from Durham City in the United Kingdom, I have been a Real Estate Agent in the Bay Area for over 16 years. I started my career with Grubb&Ellis, where I spent 5 years in downtown San Francisco on the commercial side of the industry.

I moved into residential real estate with Vanguard Properties in 2003. Since joining Vanguard I have represented hundreds of buyers and sellers, brokered over $ 200 million in transactions and have been a Top Producer every year from 2003 — 2013. I have a passion for homes, design and people, which means that I love my work.

I have a First Class BS Honors degree in Real Estate Business Practices from Newcastle University in the UK. My formal real estate education and diverse cultural background enable me to understand the entire real estate process and many kinds of property and personalities.

I grew up in England where my father is a contractor and I have also lived and worked in Portugal, Vienna and Egypt.

I live with my wonderful husband, Christopher Blair, and my beautiful son, Theodore North. We just love the diversity, nature and quality of life that Sonoma County has to offer.

I like being social and I love to meet new people.

My personal passion is home renovation, design and interiors. I have purchased and renovated several properties of my own. If you don’t want to pay for a professional stager, I have experience and can help you redesign and stage your property before it goes to market.

My passion for design and aesthetics translates into a keen eye for

marketing ideas. At Vanguard we arguably have the best marketing collateral any firm can offer.

When I’m not working I like to visit my Grandfather Stanley Ferguson’s tugboat, ‘The Eppleton Hall’ which resides in the Bay at the San Francisco Maritime Museum (yes, really… you can google it!).

Keely helped me purchase an investment property in Sonoma County. Full disclosure: we are friends and colleagues as I am a San Francisco real estate agent. I believe that a home buyer should work with a local expert which is why I reached out to Keely for help when it came time to buy in the wine country. Why? Because she is a FIERCE client advocate, strong negotiator and sound counselor. Keely honed her skills in the high-​paced, über-​competitive San Francisco market and brings this tenacity to her work in Sebastopol and Sonoma County.
Buying a home is stressful even when you do it everyday for your own clients. Knowing that Keely was looking out for me, whether this was in terms of where to look for the best property or what inspections to get once in escrow (well and septic, what?!), made me so much more comfortable. If she agreed with me, I knew that I was making a good decision! If you need real estate assistance selling or buying in Sonoma County, look no further.

Keely helped us purchase our first home — and we couldn’t done it without her expertise, grace and humor.
Expertise — we first found Keely when our landlords decided to sell the 2-​unit TIC we were renting at the time. I cold-​called Keely (and another agent) in a panic on a Sunday morning. She (and the other agent) returned my calls promptly and after speaking with both, I decided to move forward with Keely. She is incredibly knowledgeable about TICs, owner move-​in (OMI) evictions and the SF market (including specific neighborhood trends.) She guided us through the entire complicated process, and while we didn’t end up getting that house (no fault of hers, we just couldn’t put up the $$) she was almost spot-​on in her prediction of how much it would sell for.
Keely helped us search for another home (more on that below). The next house we put an offer on had 11 other offers (seriously?!) but after multiple counter offers, ours was accepted thanks to Keely’s strategic counsel. Keely was our advocate — she was there during our inspections, helped us obtain quotes for repairs and negotiate for allowances until all parties were satisfied.
On top of that, Keely referred us to our mortgage lender, Jackie Cuneo (previously at Opus Advisors, now at Summit Funding.) We met with several mortgage lenders and Jackie really was the best in terms of the rate she offered and the education she provided us. Keely also referred us to Jacob Louie with State Farm for home insurance, who ended up being able to provide the best pricing and customer service out of multiple providers.
Grace — this was our first time at the real estate rodeo, and SF is a complicated market! Keely took the time (lots of it) to educate us and answer all our questions. She was always prompt in responding and while I know she had numerous clients at the time, big and small, she always made time for us. Not only that — she really cares. After we didn’t get the first property, my best friend passed away suddenly. I needed to fly to Europe for the funeral in the middle of searching for a new home since we were likely going to be evicted (OMI).
Keely helped us search in earnest online and in-​person. She gave us her honest opinions, and simultaneously let me have space while alerting me if she really thought I should see a particular house. The offer on our now-​home was accepted the night before I flew out for the funeral. I was able to say goodbye to my friend knowing I had a home to come back to. I don’t think I realized until afterwards how much that meant to me.
Humor — Keely is honestly great. You spend so much time with your real estate agent that it’s imperative you get along. I enjoy that she’s a straight shooter but also fun to be around. I’m sure you’ll love her too.

Keely was great and I’m picky! I’m a long time realtor from San Francisco who recently bought a property in Sebastopol. I needed expert help to rent my new property. I wanted great tenants and wanted to work with someone who would listen to my concerns and get the job done. Keely was the right choice. She was professional and undaunted by a recent storm. She had an open house during the worst part of the storm. I had four applicants to choose from a few days later. I’m happy with my new tenants. So do contact her. She’s wonderful!

I was a complete novice searching for a home in the hot California real estate market. Terrified doesn’t come close! Keely and her associate Flannan held my hand through every small detail. They introduced me to a thorough and trustworthy finance person Arjun, who was able to explain the process in every minor detail and find the most advantageous options for me.
They researched all a areas that were within my price range and scheduled appointments to fit my already jam packed schedule as a single parent. Flannan even researched the local schools for my 4 year daughter, knowing this was a important feature in our lives.
They provided me with their expert opinion that helped me secure my dream home. Which I most certainly couldn’t have achieved without them.
After securing our home Flannan even assisted me to locate a reasonably priced painter, carpet cleaner and mover and scheduled the appointments. He checked in daily to smooth out any issues.
He attended the deed signing and was quick to identify any errors and have them corrected.
I felt do supported through the entire process and would strongly recommend them to any one purchasing a home. They are professional, friendly and experts in their field. Most importantly completely trustworthy. Thank you Keely and Flannan for making our dreams come true!

This has been a long time coming. Keely is an exceptional realtor. When my parents looked into purchasing a condo a few years ago, Keely shared her views on the market and which neighborhoods worked best for their lifestyle and budget. Keely was absolutely fantastic!
I was trying to sell my home in Healdsburg for quite some time, and every Realtor I tried could not get the job done. Some of the Realtors were not getting the property enough attention on the market, and others were not getting me offers I thought were acceptable. This was also my first time selling a home, and I was left feeling very confused and in the dark about the whole process.
Finally, I was referred to Keely by a friend of mine who had worked with her and my problems quickly disappeared. She guided me through the process and explained each step along the way. She ended up getting multiple offers for the home that were better than expected. The home was sold and I couldn’t be happier!
