History

Established in 2007.

Merlin Schlumberger is an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist (WE-​7670B), a Qualified Tree Risk Assessor, and a CA Licensed Contractor. Merlin’s Tree and Farm Care performs all aspects of tree care, from climbing and pruning to consulting and land management planning. Services include fine pruning, tree removal, tree risk assessments, consulting, arborist reports, and land management plans.

Education is an integral part of Merlin’s Tree and Farm Care. Merlin is an adjunct faculty at Santa Rosa Junior College and teaches tree biology classes to industry professionals studying for the International Society of Arboriculture test.

Clients range from small homeowners to large corporate projects. He is the Senior Arborist for Ecological Concerns Incorporated, a habitat restoration company with whom he has worked on projects including city parks and the US Navy.

Merlin Schlumberger is an ISA Certified Arborist and a Qualified Tree Risk Assessor. Merlin’s Tree and Farm Care performs all aspects of tree care, from planting and climbing to consulting. Education is an integral part of Merlin’s Tree and Farm Care. Merlin teaches tree biology classes to industry professionals studying for the International Society of Arboriculture test, including a community education class through Santa Rosa Junior College. Merlin is also the Orchard Manager at the Occidental Arts and Ecology Center (www​.oaec​.org) where he teaches volunteers to properly prune, harvest, and manage weeds and pests.
