Specialties

We organically grow fruits and vegetables in Sebastopol, including Gravenstein, Macintosh, Jonathan, Golden Delicious, Empire, Granny Smith and Bell Flower Golden Apples. We also grow Plums, Pears, Persimmons, Prunes, Peaches, Almonds and Walnuts. We will install a greenhouse soon to provide seedlings and plants for you to grow yourself.

History

Established in 2000.

We relocated to Sebastopol and purchased the neglected orchard from the farmer’s widow. We learned to be land stewards and brought the orchard back to being pruned and tended — without the use of pesticides or herbicides. We believe in planting enough for all of natures creatures to enjoy and share the bounty with them.

Meet the Business Owner

Kathy M.

Business Owner

I have had a lifelong history with the Gravenstein Apple as every summer my parents would drive us all to Sebastopol to purchase a few boxes of those amazing apples. The folks would store them in the basement while Mom worked away at applesauce and apple pies and all the while you would smell that incredible tart fresh smell each time you went to the basement. When we decided to leave the big city, our real estate agent kept bringing us back to Sebastopol and we finally found nirvana. Nature is very forgiving for the city people who have learned to play Green Acres with some degree of proficiency.
