We offer fair and honest pricing on oil changes, tune-​ups, brake repair and anything else your vehicle needs. Our goal is to provide the highest level of car care and customer service to our friends and neighbors in Sebastopol and West County.

History

Established in 2015.

Pauline’s Automotive is just starting out, but the owners, technicians and service writers have a long history in Sonoma County. We hope to become your go-​to for all your automotive needs.

Manager

My name is Jessica. I am the service manager at Pauline’s Automotive. I was born and raised in Santa Rosa and now live and work in Sebastopol. I love being a part of the community here. You can often find me enjoying Saturday mornings in the square having a cup of Joe and reading the Boho. I have a little Honda CRX that I have been restoring in my spare time. Our office greeter is Miss Stella, an Old English Bulldog. She just turned 7 in November. She is extremely intelligent and is the light of my life. She is going through chemo therapy for a very aggressive skin cancer, but even so she wants to meet everyone who comes into the shop. She will blow you kisses if she likes you, which is kinda gross so look out because she likes everyone. I invite you to come by to meet us. Stella will sniff your knees and toes while I help you with your car or truck needs.

I went there because my air conditioning wasn’t working. They told me the compressor was broken and if one part is broken you need to replace all three components of the air conditioner which would cost $ 2000. Then they said 5 other things needed to be replaced which would cost another $ 2000, total $ 4000. I got a second opinion and they said none of that was broken! Only one component of the air conditioner needed to be replaced and there were a few other things costing $ 1400.

Needed broken windshield wiper repaired. My regular shop, Santa Rosa Toyota dealership, couldn’t book me for a week with heavy rain forecasted. Got a mailer from Pauline’s & gave it a call– SAME day appointment! with caveat that parts could take a day to arrive. Reasonable.
Only reason not 5 * is that when I arrived I was pointedly ignored by man in office. Turned out he was the free lance computer guy not trained to b temp receptionist, nor did he tell me. Took about 10 minutes for Jessica to return to office & she helped me immediately.
My lifeless wiper was due to a loose bolt! They tightened it & other wiper. No replacement parts needed or charged. When I was shown the bolts, I was offered a double headlight cleaning as they were trying out a new product. Yes!
They didn’t even charge me labor for the bolts or cleaning, but sent me on my way smiling into the rain.

JESSICA AND LILLY you are the best!!! Thank your for all that you did for me. My Honda CRV has 226,00 miles on it, I was very leery about taking it to just anybody. I called Pauline’s and Jessica got me in right away, had my issue diagnosed and fixed. No hassle straight and to the point I was even SHOWN what needed to be fixed. GREAT SHOP

We were visiting relatives in Sebastopol when we discovered that a leaf spring on our travel trailer had broken. We managed to find a replacement part but had no place to do the repair. We saw the sign for Pauline’s and decided to give them a try. They were great. Someone came out to look at the trailer and said it would be no problem. They squeezed us into the schedule and had it installed in a couple of hours. We were so happy that they did a great job and highly recommend Pauline’s to locals and travelers alike!

I’m always hesitant when choosing a new mechanic. Pauline’s was the best possible choice I could’ve made being a newbie in town! My boyfriend and I first went in for a routine oil change. I chose them because they were one of the cheapest in town, but was also afraid there might be a reason they were the cheapest. My fears were immediately put to rest when I recieved outstanding service and our car was in tip top shape!
Unfortunately, after a long trip our alternator began giving us problems so we found ourselves at Pauline’s rather often over the next couple weeks. I love coming here because everyone is friendly, they answer your questions openly and honeslty in a way that is easy to understand, and you get great service on your car for the best price. Jessica is always wonderful and helps me really feel like I know what’s going on with our car everytime we leave and they do everything they can to get to the bottom of all issues. I would recommend them to anyone!

Really enjoyed my last trip to Pauline’s Automotive. I was impressed with the quality of the auto repair and appreciated all the special touches (thank you Jessica) that indicate that this auto repair shop is striving for excellent customer service. In addition, the repair cost was within the estimated budget presented to me (always important).
Today, I received a follow-​up call to see if everything was OK with my car and was offered and opportunity to provide feedback on my Pauline’s Automotive experience. As a new customer, I feel valued and appreciated.
I would also like to add that the reception/​office and the auto repair area is very clean and tidy.
