Theta Wave Float Spa

Did my second float at Theta wave and I’m very impressed with service and equipment. It’s exactly what I was looking for. Peaceful zen environment and awesome people. Give it a try and you won’t regret it.

AMAZING All Around! Andrew is the BEST, he took care of me & 3 of my friends with a same day appointment. The energy & ambiance of the spa was exceptional & relaxing. My friends & I received 2 treatments each, the float tanks, massage & the Lucia N3 Light was out of this world… I Highly recommend this MaGicKaL Spa for an experience you will not Forget :-)

Highly recommended spa for both floatation and the astonishingly effective Lucia No 3 Hypnagogic light treatment.
The spa is a sanctuary. It’s exceptionally well designed, decorated, and managed. I know I’m appreciated when I come here (and vice-​versa).

First experience with «floating». Andrew was professional and responsive in all of his emails even when I needed to modify the timing of our 2 float appointments. He was thorough in his explanations of how to enter and exit the pod and helpful in all of the possible scenarios we might encounter, plus realizing this is not for everyone and that’s okay. He has a wonderful, calming energy about him. A great first experience — just be open; arrive without expectations. We’ll be back! Next time we want to try the Light Experience, too.

My husband and I floated here the other day and we were very impressed. Everything is top notch. The pods are the best we’ve tried anywhere. The design of the studio is very nice and soothing. And CLEAN! The owner has put a lot of thought into detail designed to make an exceptional experience which is what we both had. If we lived closer, we’d be regular customers. Note to owner: please open a spa in our town… :)

I have been in the «Healing» world for over 10 years now, walking many paths. I did a float tonight and it was a game changer. Deepened everything I have learned and tried over the last half of my life. Theta Wave was super inviting and relaxing and my body has never felt this relaxed. I am also high, like I am on cloud 9. I left there floating, with out words to describe the sheer bliss my whole system felt. It’s also an added bonus that the owner has tapped into light therapy as well. I got a little taste of that magic after my float and I will be back for a full session tomorrow. I feel so grateful this spa is in my backyard and I will be sending my clients as well as all my friends to this spot, it’s a true gem in terms of evolutionary consciousness.

Will definitely be returning! Andrew did an awesome job making you feel welcome by showing you around the office and giving a little tour of the place. The float rooms are very clean and super quiet. After you’re done, there is a relaxation room that you can sit in! Would recommend to anyone!

A perfect combo of clean and comfortable — This is a top notch float spa. A lot of thought and energy went into designing the space, and the well maintained rooms make it clear that Andrew and his staff care about providing an enjoyable and calm experience. The separate «hang out» room is really a nice touch. In addition to other wellness services, it’s exciting to find that Theta Wave Float Spa offers both flotation therapy in modern, clean float pods and Lucia No.3 Hypnagogic Lamp experiences.

So, having seen different float systems over the years the systems at Theta Wave Float Spa looked interesting. I scheduled an appointment and Andrew showed me all the specifics. Once in the «pod»? I found it took me about 40 minutes to completely relax to the pint of falling asleep. The light turned on with a little music to tell me my float was up. I felt really amazing. You float in a Epsom type water and that night I was assisting a music event selling beverages and my skin was so soft that I couldn’t get bills out of the till. I’ll be back when I need a little relaxing after a long weekend.

If you’ve never experienced a float, you’re truly missing out! It’s something everyone should do for themselves at least once. Thing is, once you float, you can’t wait to do it again. At least, that’s been my experience, and Theta Wave Float Spa is my new favorite spot for a relaxing, rejuvenating float… and it’s right here in Sonoma County! Woo hoo!
I had a very stressful few weeks, and I knew that I needed to shut down for a while and just allow my brain and body to get some rest. Floating is the perfect way to ‘turn off’ and allow your mind to reset, so to speak. From the minute I called to inquire about a float, I felt completely at ease with Andrew’s (spa owner) calm, easy going attitude. Since it wasn’t my first time floating, I didn’t have to pick his brain much, and scheduled my float while taking advantage of a deal he was offering for the week, so my float cost only $ 40.00! Score!!! I believe your first float is $ 55.00 when you’re not taking advantage of a deal or special offer, and you can buy a 3 float package for an hour or hour and a half each, as well as a 6 month deal where you get one 1 hour float per month. If you snag a package after your first float, you get a discount on said package, and I’d recommend taking advantage of it because you’re going to want to float again… and again… and, well, you get the idea. You may as well save a little money and pay for a package. They also offer a two person float package if you want to bring a friend or your partner in with you. There are only two tanks so you’d have the place to yourself, other than Andrew and staff. Lastly, if you refer 5 friends (make sure they drop your name on the form they fill out so you get the credit for the referral) you get a free float! Pretty sweet deal.
The space itself is lovely. Much more of a spa feel than the other float place I had visited in the bay area that gave a little less to be desired. The whole space is very clean, soothing and has a great vibe. I felt right at home, took off my shoes and just floated (tee hee) around the building before I stepped into the tanks and began my float. I fell in love with the place, and Andrew was nice enough to let me take a few pictures so I could show them to friends who I knew would be interested. Once I finished visiting with Andrew and taking the tour, I got into relax mode. The shower is in the same room as your tank, so it’s nice to wash off and then step right into your float tank. The tanks themselves are the nicest I’ve ever seen. They are clean, roomy and even have a speaker so you can listen to soothing music through your phone, or let Andrew play something for you to relax to. My first time floating was in silence, which was great, so I wasn’t sure I’d like music/​sounds playing softly, but I really did. I think it helped me to fall into a deeper relaxation. As you lie there, you’ll find yourself trying to turn off your brain and stop the thoughts from flooding in. This is totally the norm, and eventually it will cease. I recommend focusing on your breathing while in the tank to help you relax and stop the mind racing. Also, if you are concerned of feeling claustrophobic, you can turn on a light in the tank if that’s helpful. I find that complete darkness is best, and if you start to feel anxious, just focus on taking deep breaths. Touching the sides of the tank is helpful as well and seemed to work in grounding me and calming me down during my first float when I felt a little anxious and claustrophobic.
When I was done with my float I stepped out of the tank feeling like I had just slept 8 hours, or had a massage. I was slow moving, sort of out of it, beyond relaxed and I felt so melty. It was awesome. I fell asleep for most of my float, and that’s what I was hoping for. To completely shut down for a bit. I arrived feeling strung out, overwhelmed and stressed and I left feeling happy, grateful and without a care in the world. I will be visiting Theta Wave Float spa as often as possible. I’m very interested in the Lucia Light treatment they offer as well, but not as familiar with what that is. Sounds great though, so ask about it when you call.

I have floated a couple of times and absolutely love it. Andrew is wonderful the atmosphere is awesome. I would love to get the word out about floating, it is one of the most relaxing experiences and I always come out feeling rejuvenated, positive and simply amazing.
I’m totally addicted to floating. I get to escape stress and reset my emotions !!!

Yesterday my grandson (who is 18) and I went to the Theta Wave Float Spa.
Our experience was better than great.
The front desk woman answered all our questions and concerns and went the extra mile for us.
The float was amazing.

I’ve been wanting to try this mode of relaxation for quite some time now and finally made it to the spa to try the water therapy. It was the perfect answer to my happy but somewhat stressful and hectic life. The space is done right with soothing colors and lighting. What a healing space Andrew has created. He explained the process in a calm and open manner and I felt secure in the new experience I was about to embark on.
The rooms are private, spacious, super clean and calming. The water is at body temperature and the salt allows you to float like a cork! After taking a shower in the room to wash the oils off, you step into the Float Spa and close the door. Music of your choice floats along with you to really seal the deal on the experience. As you lay back with a neck pillow to support you, the journey begins. You are in complete darkness that can be modified depending on your comfort level. I felt completely safe and relaxed in the dark though. It only enhanced the experience for me. It took a while for me to shut my mind off but once I did, I definitely went to another state of consciousness. So relaxing, so rejuvenating and grounding and so needed. When your time is done, the music turns off and the gentle lights of the spa turn on to let you know that its time to get up and shower.
They have created a beautiful little sanctuary to rest in after your time floating. Supplied with a light snack, tea or water it was a sweet way to end the experience.
I’m already planning on this for holiday gifts for my staff. It is that healing and it was beautiful in so many ways.
