Buffs Car Wash & Detailing Center

This place gives a great full service wash for $ 8. I don’t know how much longer they can keep the price that low, but I’ve been here four times and each time I’m happy with the results.

I’ve been coming here for over a year. I like that they clean the outside by hand and inside they vacuum a bit and clean your floor mats. For a couple dollars more I get armoral on the tires all for ten bucks total. There’s almost never a line.

No frills, thorough hand wash for a good price. They pay attention to detail and the older gentleman looks the car over when done to make sure everything is done well. I drive out of my immediate area and bypass other car washes to use them.

I have other car washes closer to me but I keep coming back to Buff’s. I own a minivan and they charge $ 12 for a full interior/​exterior cleaning including special cleaning of the floor mats. They’ll vacuum the trunk too as long as you remove your items from there. I’m usually in and out in 10 – 15 minutes, which is amazing for a hand wash. They have plenty of guys on hand. Sometimes they miss an inside window, but just point it out and they’ll take care of it.

I recently had my Miata detailed at Buffs. The service cost $ 128.00. It was a beautiful day. I wanted to get it detailed and put it in my garage, nice and clean. Peter gave me a ride back to my office. Someone called me from Buffs when it was done. A co-​worker drove me over to pick it up. The car looked nice, but when I tried to start it ran like hell. Banging and almost stalling. I managed to get the car back to my office and park it. I am lucky I got it the mile away.
I had to have the car towed to a repair shop the next day after it sat outside in the rain all night. $ 170!
Long story short there was water in the 2 and 3 cylinders. The repair was $ 240.
I have all the bills.
When I went to talk to Peter, they owner, and tell him what had happened, he tried to blame it on me. He said I shouldn’t have left it out in the rain! WHAT???
I thought Peter was a decent man. All I asked was if he could help me out, give me money for the tow. He said no, they had nothing to do with the problem.
I had been going ther for 7 years. Never again!
You know inside you are wrong Peter, now you have to live with yourself!

Been there a couple of times and would say its a perfectly decent no frills car wash — not too bad, not too great. It is a hand wash and they charge $ 10 if you have an SUV for only an external wash. Additional charge for other services. The service is quick too.

If you are looking for a car wash thats takes care of your car that you always wished for. Buffs car wash is the place to be. From the time it enters to the time you come out, its a treat for your dream car. I highly recommend this car wash not because these people really do their job right. A++

Actually a very nice, hand, car wash. Nothing fancy, but no machines which is nice. Clean car for 8 bucks, very good deal.

I try to go here every couple of months. Right on County Rd as soon as you exit the Turnpike exit 15X. Very reasonable prices. A lot cheaper than anything I’ve found in Jersey City. I own a SUV, they charged me $ 10.00 for full service. Plus another $ 2.00 to amorall the tires. I try to go during the week when it is less crowded.

Gotta say I’m a big fan of this joint. I’ve been to alot of car wash places and you usually pay way to much for a full service wash. Now, this places lowest prices are full service prices but for what you get it great. Exterior wash, as well as vacuum, inside window wash, AND if they clean your floor mats. Rubber or cloth! Starting price is $ 6 for cars and goes up the larger the vehicle and the more stuff you want to get done. Also if you remember they give you a card. If you get ten washes your next one is free!
I know that this in not exclusive to this car wash only, but they do a really great job and there is hardly ever a line. I’ve gone to too many spots where they charge you $ 10+ just for an outside wash! For your money I think this is one of the best spots in Northern Jersey.
